Review brief: The Plot: Yep, not every great movie makes a whole hell of a lot of sense. Conquest is a good example. Our lovely tale of lust and torn bodices starts with a hanging. John "Dutch" is about to die for his crimes as a pirate. Sentenced to hang by his neck until dead (Does anyone just hang by the neck until uncomfortable?), John is rescued at the last second by his Captain, his fellow crewmen and the timely intervention of a chick with big tits. Naturally, no good deed goes unpunished, and we are treated to watching the crown prince (hilariously overplayed to perfection by somebody who deserved more credit) rant & rave about "Blackheart", our hero. Speaking of our hero, he and his crew are resting in the Batcave before setting sail. Captain Steubing receives a navigation chart and instructions to meet up with the rest of his crew at an uncharted island. Instead of thwacking the guy over the head for giving him a chart and instructions for an uncharted island, he wanders off to brood over the loss of his family.

Review brief: Metro's ULTIMATE EROTIC FANTASY is simply a compilation of scenes from Ultimate's line of films, directed by Andrew Blake doppelganger Cameron Grant. There is no doubt that each and every scene on this disc is well-photographed, imaginative, and absolutely hot as hell when it comes to sex, but this is to be expected when you consider the source material. The overall presentation, however, is somewhat lacking and greatly undermines the superb content. The DVD "boxcover" looks pretty generic when it comes to beauty and design. In fact, the model posing next to the car on the packaging is not one I readily recognize (although I am guessing that it's Jenteal), and seems to be taken from another video not directed by Grant. Furthermore, not all the stills found on the back of the DVD cover (or incorporated in the photo gallery) are from scenes in this feature, although they are clearly taken from other works by the director.

Audio Quality: Although Hi - Fi sound, I thought it was pretty poor. There was very little depth to the sound, there was a lot of background noise and wind noise, and almost every scene was dubbed. Video Quality: Average to slightly better than average. There's a little grain, but that was probably from the original filming. Music: Not bad, but it was very repetitive. There were a couple of spots where the music would end and then the same song would start up again. It wouldn't be bad if it wasn't noticeable, but I noticed.

Because it's downright silly to think you can rip off a good movie, turn it into porn, and still take yourself seriously. That's exactly the case of The Last Tango, however, which is "inspired" by The Last Tango in Paris, the classic Bernardo Bertolucci movie where Marlon Brando famously (and sadly) seduces Maria Schneider into a sexual affair. Ah, but porn is about sex, and not plot, right? So, why does it matter? It matters because it's a wasted effort and if you're a mainstream movie buff, then you end up feeling like a Led Zeppelin fan when Puff Daddy covered Kashmir. If you count yourself among Alexandra Silk's fans, you not only would have good reason to do so (she has great energy), but you'd also be hard pressed to find a DVD that displays her as much as this one.

I had also heard that a lot of people thought that it was quite sick, so I was a little uneasy about some of what I might find. Initial Reaction: Yep. That was different. Extremely well made, but not your usual porn. Review: At some point, I think almost everybody who watches American porn starts to get bored with it in some way or another and look for something different. One of the things I've heard a lot about that seemed like a good place to look for something different was Japanese erotica. Not really knowing much about it, 'Cool Devices' seemed like as good a place to try as any other.

Review brief: Although I am far less of a Jenna Jameson fan than the general porn public (my tastes lean towards women like Inari Vachs, Leena, Vicca, Ginger Lynn and Rebecca Lords), I can't deny that she has a lot of appeal, both visually and sexually. I originally purchased UP AND CUMMERS Number 10 on the strength of Jenna's slow and steady, but white hot scene with Kylie Ireland, where their tag-team encounter with Randy West was just to good to pass-up. Now, Jenna flies solo in a straight scene with Mr. West, prefaced by a photo session posing sequence which has a lot of tease and plenty of build up to the main action. Needless to say, Jenna truly shows herself to be a magnetic and sexy performer and I've finally come to understand what all her hype is about. When she is treated to extended pussy eating, she actually seems to enjoy it, and remains playful and fun- loving throughout her scene. I think Nici should do great in her role as Mrs. Peel, but I'm unsure about Wilde Oscar as Steep. I also expected some pretty heavy anal action. Initial Reaction: Fun! It made me realize again how bad the 'Avengers' movie from a few years ago was.

Review: What I wouldn't give to have had just one college professor that looked like Nina Hartley! Not only does she look better than all of my college professors, she lectures better than many of them also. Nina's Advanced Guide to Oral Sex is broke down into three sections: anatomy, practice, and fantasy scene. The anatomy is pretty basic, but provides a good understanding of the technical terms she uses. She also keeps it very short (around five to ten minutes). The best thing about the entire anatomy lesson was the vaginal puppet she had. It was all I could do to stay in my chair .

We saw a couple of dvd movies released by Italian director Lukas Kazan such as Hotel Italia and Journey to Italy. Uomo Italiano however is nowhere close to the high quality attained by those titles. I can only say that its a genuine effort by the director although the movie failed in many areas due to the directors lack of experience and amateurish actors he recruited. All the dialogues are in English, but some actors are fluent in English, some can barely utter a few words. The plot is made up roughly. A psychologist tries to solve his patients relationship problems. Everyone comes up to the appointment with his personal story from which we are presented with different episodes of sex scenes.

Review brief: Pre Viewing Expectations The case notes this is a classic porn release, and briefly describes the plot. Most of the space on the back is used to list the extras included on the disc, and what a list it is, right down to the Dolby 5.1 sound. I don't have a Dolby 5.1 setup, so I can't comment on this. Too bad the case tells one how to find the bonus photos, half of the fun would have been searching around the various menus looking for the hidden tag. The Main Event This is a golden classis from the early days of Porn. It was produced in the early 1980's and stars the one and only Marilyn Chambers. She brings her own energy to any movie she stars in, which is just as hot now as it was the day she shot it. This movie is no exception. There are eight scenes total, with Marilyn appearing in a majority of those. Many of the scenes show actions we take for granted today, but were virtually unheard of back then.

Directed By: Randy West Up & Cummers, as a series, is pretty much a mixed bag and volume 68 serves as a good example of what it does well and what it doesn't do so well. I've always liked the "first time on camera" conceit of pro-am features. At the very least, they save us from typical scripted porn posturing and show us something we haven't seen before. That's pretty much the foundation Randy West's long running series was built on. This is presented well with a relatively clear picture and very sharp sound. But there's a downside to all this. Honest and sincere fucking doesn't always translate into good fucking. Let me explain. Volume 68 is broken into four segments. Of the four, only two are worth the price of admission. The first segment, for instance, is easily the best.

Review brief: This is the only film of the Rocks That Ass series I have seen so far and I found the content impressive, with Sean Michaels involved you know that the product is usually going to be of high quality. One issue I would like to mention before continuing is the dvd framerate, I did notice some very noticeable slowdown in performance every now and again. This doesnt make the dvd hard to watch, but it doesnt help viewing pleasure either. Fortunately this problem has no baring on the quality of porn contained on this dvd, as I explain below.

I suppose it stands to reason that if a company goes as far as to have Dolby Surround sound, they're going to pay attention to it so that it's good. As always, there are a couple small problems, but nothing that interfered with my enjoyment of the film. One scene showed some obvious dubbing. Video Quality: Above average. Most of the film is very clear, however there are a couple spots that are a little grainy but that's it. Music: Composed by Saint.

My player had a few problems with the chapter stops on this disc. Sometimes it would miss out the second chapters of a scene and jump to the start of the next scene. This disc consists of two films, Co-ed Cocksuckers #4 & 5. The packaging makes no mention of this but it is printed on the DVD graphics.

Review brief: My favorite DVD extra has always been candid footage: interviews, behind the scenes, bloopers, anything to put the filming in context, in context of real people. Shanes World from start to finish is just that. Its more real than Real World (though using many of the same techniques) and far more intimate. If you care at all to get to know the people who are screwing their brains out for your viewing pleasure then jump into Shanes World. Shanes World 19 is my first adventure with Shane so I cant compare it to previous excursions. At the same time, however, you still get facials, anal, strap ons, and all the other things that make a hardcore video hardcore. There is some above average sex on this disc, but you won't find much in the way of extras. There are a handful of trailers for other titles which are well put together, but that's about it. Everything is professionally constructed, on the other hand. The picture is sharp, the sound is clear, and the menus work.

The overall presentation, however, is somewhat lacking and greatly undermines the superb content. The DVD "boxcover" looks pretty generic when it comes to beauty and design. All the dialogues are in English, but some actors are fluent in English, some can barely utter a few words. The plot is made up roughly. A psychologist tries to solve his patients relationship problems. Everyone comes up to the appointment with his personal story from which we are presented with different episodes of sex scenes.

The Main Event This is a golden classis from the early days of Porn. It was produced in the early 1980's and stars the one and only Marilyn Chambers. Review brief: Starring: Bunny Luv, Jessica Darlin, Allysin Chaynes, Vanessa, Mary Jane, Amythiest, Amy Atakani, Randy West, Julian St. Jox, D.J.X. Directed By: Randy West Up & Cummers, as a series, is pretty much a mixed bag and volume 68 serves as a good example of what it does well and what it doesn't do so well. I've always liked the "first time on camera" conceit of pro-am features. At the very least, they save us from typical scripted porn posturing and show us something we haven't seen before. That's pretty much the foundation Randy West's long running series was built on. This is presented well with a relatively clear picture and very sharp sound. But there's a downside to all this. Honest and sincere fucking doesn't always translate into good fucking. Let me explain. Volume 68 is broken into four segments. Of the four, only two are worth the price of admission. The first segment, for instance, is easily the best.

Review brief: This is the only film of the Rocks That Ass series I have seen so far and I found the content impressive, with Sean Michaels involved you know that the product is usually going to be of high quality. One issue I would like to mention before continuing is the dvd framerate, I did notice some very noticeable slowdown in performance every now and again. This doesnt make the dvd hard to watch, but it doesnt help viewing pleasure either. Fortunately this problem has no baring on the quality of porn contained on this dvd, as I explain below.

I really enjoyed the Behind the Scenes. It gave a nice feel to the cast as real people rather than people that you just enjoy watching having sex. Audio Quality: Dolby Surround. I suppose it stands to reason that if a company goes as far as to have Dolby Surround sound, they're going to pay attention to it so that it's good. As always, there are a couple small problems, but nothing that interfered with my enjoyment of the film. One scene showed some obvious dubbing. Video Quality: Above average. Most of the film is very clear, however there are a couple spots that are a little grainy but that's it. Music: Composed by Saint.

Review brief: Film length: 195mins DVD features: Each of the 34 scenes are chapter stopped at the start of each scene and just before the cumshots. My player had a few problems with the chapter stops on this disc. Sometimes it would miss out the second chapters of a scene and jump to the start of the next scene. This disc consists of two films, Co-ed Cocksuckers #4 & 5. The packaging makes no mention of this but it is printed on the DVD graphics.

Review brief: My favorite DVD extra has always been candid footage: interviews, behind the scenes, bloopers, anything to put the filming in context, in context of real people. Shanes World from start to finish is just that. Its more real than Real World (though using many of the same techniques) and far more intimate. If you care at all to get to know the people who are screwing their brains out for your viewing pleasure then jump into Shanes World. Shanes World 19 is my first adventure with Shane so I cant compare it to previous excursions. Cast obviously makes the movie I doubt anyone would care about the personal lives of people who annoy them. 19 has an enjoyable cast, a nice mix of pretty faces, lean bodies, and personalities with depth.

First thing is Sean does knows how to treat the women. He always eats the girls out probably cause he likes doing it, or that how it seems. Also his long E.T. fingers he can do some serious one finger probing as he down there. Secondly we all probably know that he does have this 11' inch anaconda that seems to glide into these women like butter. Wow! Review brief: North Pole #8 Directed by Peter North Starring: Sylvia, Jewel De'Nyle, Barrett Moore, Aspen Brock, Harmony Grant, Jade Marcella, Peter North, Eric Everhard, Rob Scott, Chris Cannon, Chris Charming. This is Peter North's eighth entry in his North Pole series, which does a pretty good job of straddling the fence between hardcore gonzo and couples oriented vignettes. Instead of grubby guys trying to prove to the camera how "hardcore" they really are, Peter instead opts for well appointed locations, very pretty girls, and shots that steer away from strictly gynecological close ups. At the same time, however, you still get facials, anal, strap ons, and all the other things that make a hardcore video hardcore. There is some above average sex on this disc, but you won't find much in the way of extras. There are a handful of trailers for other titles which are well put together, but that's about it. Everything is professionally constructed, on the other hand. The picture is sharp, the sound is clear, and the menus work.

Review brief: Pre Viewing Expectations The case for this movie shows some women in bikinis and summarizes the plot saying it is about a bikini contest. It goes on to say how the girls will use all of their weapons to sway the judges. None of the photos are explicit, so one doesn't know what type of action to expect. The Main Event This movie has a totally female cast, just right when you are wanting some female/female action. These women get down to business, in one scene using a chair for an interesting position. A strap-on dildo gets quite a workout in the opening scene. The artful way she used the strap- on made me wonder if she didn't have a bit of penis envy. She handled it about as good as any of the guys in a porno movie. Of couse, in a chick only flick, there's going to be a lot of fingering. Not just one finger, or even two, but eight of them at once in one scene, wow! This was followed up by some tit on clit action, something I haven't seen before. This led into some toe in twat action, also quite unexpected and strangely erotic.

Review brief: Pre Viewing Expectations The case for this movie doesn't give away too much. There are a few photos on the back that show some of the hardcore action, including a three-way. It mentions the women who star in it, but otherwise, that is about it. The Main Event As one might expect, this is a montage of scenes, without any type of plotline to hook them all together. For the most part, the women look young, and inexperienced. Take for example the first scene. The girl tries to deep throat the guy, but looks like she is either in pain or very uncomfortable. More experienced women know how to make this look enjoyable, even if it isn't. Overall there are six scenes in this feature, including the three-way shown on the case. Most of the scenes are in excess of 18 minutes, good lenghty action. I was surprised by the lack of money shots in some of these scenes. In the first scene, the guy comes inside of the girl then withdrawls.
