This is Antonio Adamo's first porno ever. The beginning credits entice one to watch the whole video. There is great sex to be experienced throughout the whole time. Review brief: My first experience with Private is definitely memorable. I cant say that Sex Sliders met all my expectations for Private, but my expectations were very high. Its so refreshing to watch natural bodies and listen to genuine moaning. While the accents make deciphering the dialog difficult at times, they add to the eroticism. The anal sex is a bit overused for my tastes, but at least I can see the insertion and know whats going on. Private has definitely won me over, even though this isnt one of their most renowned movies. Plot: The plot and dialog are exactly what youd expect, banal and hilarious. Our leading characters, Caroline Cage, Dru Barrymore, David Perry, Christian Christoph, are time travelers. They go from hedonistic orgy to the land where only the rich can legally fuck. There is of course a resistance movement in the sex-controlled society, whose weapons are the pornos they produce in their lair. Between the time warp, la resistance, and the appearance of the men in black, I felt like I was watching the plots of a thousand Hollywood movies rolled into one.

Review brief: If you are forever stuck in the 1980's, keep reading, this movie will be right up your alley. If, however, you are looking for something fresh and modern, quit now and look for another review. Overall, I am quite impressed with the video remastering job done on this movie. After all, the original was shot what I estimate to be in the 1980s. Parts of the video appear hazy, almost like a midday soap opera, but this is the desired effect they were going for at the time, and not to be construed as a flaw in the video. If you remember anything about the 80s, you'll remember how video effects were new, neat, and excessively used. This movie is no exception, reverse video and other color based effects are used quite a bit in the early parts of the film, to the point I found distracting. Thankfully it doesn't permiate the entire movie. The audio, likewise, is very good. It was full and rich, even if it was a bit annoying, but that is just my opinion. The repeating musical chord is more the fault of a limited musical score, rather than the remastered audio track.

Review brief: What a disappointment, this could have been a much better product. It is brought down by poor, sloppy and rushed work. Lets examine each of the four parts of the dvd in turn. On a personal note, I much prefer natural breasts opposed to oversized sacks of saline solution. Of couse, this is personal preference, so your mileage may vary. The Movie What they call a movie here would be refered to as a scene by most. It is this part of the disc that looks rushed, it could have been better. In the opening scene, you can see the end of the set because they used a funky camera lens. The camera then enters the bedroom, where the guy helps Brittany out of her clothes. In less than a blink of an eye, the guy is out of his, thanks to some creative editing. Too bad they didn't keep up the editing through out the feature. Further into the scene, we see shakey camera work and the occasional glimpse of a stagehand in the background.

Review brief: "Vortex" directed by veteran filmmaker Jim Enright is yet another fine release from VCA, a company which is known for their technically superior DVDs as well as for hot sex. Starring contract stars Juli Ashton, Vicca and Nikita, as well as Nici Sterling and Melanie Stone, "Vortex" employs the same digital special effects and background setting used (and sometimes over-used) in classics like Michael Ninn's "Sex" and "Latex" but they do not distract from fuck and suck scenes (which are, after all, the raison d' etre of porn).The DVD cover art has a simply stunning picture of Juli Ashton, decked out in a skin-tight silver outfit in a quasi-martial arts-action pose. Since attractive packaging is one of the single biggest factors in the sales or rental of a porn video, kudos must go to whoever artfully composed this shot, which manages to show off Juli's fantastic body (yet barely shows any skin!) and conveys the movie's science fiction motif about time travel.

Review brief: Titan does it again with the release of Fluid, a summer of heat, passion and man sex! Taking place in Northern California amidst a secluded river we get the impression weve stumbled on an oasis of nothing but pleasure. The overall production quality is high and my only complaint is that some of the sex scenes seem to be overdubbed. Camera shots are great with tight close ups of huge cocks and tight asses. Review brief: If you are forever stuck in the 1980's, keep reading, this movie will be right up your alley. If, however, you are looking for something fresh and modern, quit now and look for another review. Overall, I am quite impressed with the video remastering job done on this movie. After all, the original was shot what I estimate to be in the 1980s. Parts of the video appear hazy, almost like a midday soap opera, but this is the desired effect they were going for at the time, and not to be construed as a flaw in the video. If you remember anything about the 80s, you'll remember how video effects were new, neat, and excessively used. This movie is no exception, reverse video and other color based effects are used quite a bit in the early parts of the film, to the point I found distracting. Thankfully it doesn't permiate the entire movie. The audio, likewise, is very good. It was full and rich, even if it was a bit annoying, but that is just my opinion. The repeating musical chord is more the fault of a limited musical score, rather than the remastered audio track.

Review brief: "Vortex" directed by veteran filmmaker Jim Enright is yet another fine release from VCA, a company which is known for their technically superior DVDs as well as for hot sex. Starring contract stars Juli Ashton, Vicca and Nikita, as well as Nici Sterling and Melanie Stone, "Vortex" employs the same digital special effects and background setting used (and sometimes over-used) in classics like Michael Ninn's "Sex" and "Latex" but they do not distract from fuck and suck scenes (which are, after all, the raison d' etre of porn).The DVD cover art has a simply stunning picture of Juli Ashton, decked out in a skin-tight silver outfit in a quasi-martial arts-action pose. Since attractive packaging is one of the single biggest factors in the sales or rental of a porn video, kudos must go to whoever artfully composed this shot, which manages to show off Juli's fantastic body (yet barely shows any skin!) and conveys the movie's science fiction motif about time travel.

Its like having an interview and a link to a good scene, without the hassle of actually having to click on a link once the interview is over. I wish more extras were like this. The Cast: Well now, lets see who the video virgins are today We have, for your interviewing pleasure, Vanity, Taylor, Debbie, and Mimi. I guess when you make more than one movie theyre allowed to give you a last name. Oh, there is also Victoria Del Rio as one of the interviewees, and Jewel De Nyle drops in for a snack. Technically, Mimi is not a video virgin as she was in Volume 1, but Im not going to really complain.

Review brief: Titan does it again with the release of Fluid, a summer of heat, passion and man sex! Taking place in Northern California amidst a secluded river we get the impression weve stumbled on an oasis of nothing but pleasure. The overall production quality is high and my only complaint is that some of the sex scenes seem to be overdubbed. Camera shots are great with tight close ups of huge cocks and tight asses. It opens with Tony Zerega and Doug Jeffries sucking and fucking aboard the roof of a boat out in the middle of the river and it doesnt stop there as they continue on board deck. These guys know how to have some fun in the sun! James West continues the escapades as he fucks Joe Magno in a wooded area and they both shoot a mean load. I had only seen the trailer, which blew me away.Story : Actually there's not a lot to mention here, this is more or less an all-sex video, much in the Andrew Blake style, but more hardcore (as usual for Ninn) and sadly shot on video, though you really can't tell from looking at it (cameraman Barry Wood won the 1999 AVN Award for videography for his work). Jamie Gillis plays a man who forsake the heavens and disrespected God because He took his wife and child. For this, Gillis has been cursed by the 'almighty' (as God is called throughout the movie) to live in an eternity of darkness.

Review brief: Hot off the heels of "Virtual Sex with Tera Patrick," this Amerasian super-starlet is spotlighted in yet another interactive, first-person video called, appropriately enough, "My Plaything." Let me state from the start that after being very disappointed in the over-hyped and over-praised "Virtual Sex" edition, I was pretty much expecting more of the same, or rather less of the same. Shot against a dark, sterile background --- as if we were on location in some condemned building with plastic garbage bags lining the walls --- "Virtual Sex with Tera Patrick" was, to me, a decidedly un-erotic, dank looking video with dreadfully phony cumshots from a prosthetic penis. Despite the star of the show looking sexy as ever, there was something cheap about the deliberately sparse setting, which made the "experience" rather depressing than exciting. Moreover, the on-screen menus had some of the ugliest graphics I had ever seen, which greatly detracted from the viewing experience (true, they were removable, but it made toggling the controls all the more difficult).

Review brief: Overview Bliss is a prime example of how close a porn can be to mainstreamwith a soap opera twist. Juli Ashton is our main character who is not happy and satisfied with her marriage. She wants it to work, but cant help straying in her search for sexual satisfaction. Her best friend is Tina Tyler who has some marital problems of her own. While Juli feels remorse for her actions and loves her husband, Tina is icy cold to her husband for his unfaithfulness. Both Juli and Tina play their parts perfectly. Tina seemed to really enjoy this bitchy character she played it so well. I dont want to give too much of the movie away, so I wont go into too much detail with the scenes. There is a lot of dialog in this movie and its done so well. However, the camera angles are what really struck me. Antonio used some subtle, yet brilliant shots (this may be a guy thing!). For instance, theres a dialog scene in a restaurant, but in the foreground of the shot is another table with a plate of french fries. I know people are thinking so what? Big deal!!, but its kind of artsy.

Review brief: The Plot: Every now and then we have to change the old paradigms and realize that something new is in the air. Witness exhibit A: Vivids Interactive Mind Teazzer. It really defies classification. Its not a compilation, its not a gonzo and it certainly doesnt have a plot. How do we define such a beast? I think if I were able, I would classify this disc as an amusing toy. It's either that, or classify it as "drink coaster". The Cast: Its nice to see that Vivid is rotating out some of the faces (and bodies) that weve all grown to love in favor of some less-exposed talent. Some of the old crowd is here: Kobe Tai, Kira Kenner, Lisa Comshaw. There is a whole gamut of first-name-only Vivid girls here: Zoe, Doria, Mia, Stella, Crystal, Stacy, Jordan, etc. etc. etc. Most of the girls are artificially inflated, but I didnt see any that were awful in execution. The guys are represented by um there are none. I really have only a couple comments about the cast here: Somebody needs to feed Kobe Tai, and Kira Kenner is an excellent dancer.

Review brief: Directed by the infamous Dark Bros., "The Devil In Miss Jones 3 and 4" were critically-acclaimed classic sequels to the original ground-breaking porno which even reknowned radio personality (I hesitate to call him a journalist) Larry King proclaimed as one of his favorite films (I am not making this up!). Despite the dated look of most of the porno stars, and pre-CGI set designs and special effects, these two films still have a daring and surreal look to them. The sex, however, is not as heated as some of the Dark Bros better efforts, like the the Traci Lords-edited "New Wave Hookers" which preceded this work.
