The Whore's of Old Town tries to pass itself off as a parody, spoof, or take off of Robert Rodriquez and Frank Miller's Sin City. However, in reality, the movie is nothing more than a series of unconnected sex scenes that appear to have had their color messed with in post-production, probably as an afterthought, and then put together to make this movie. As to exactly who the audience is for this title, I am not sure. Fans of plotted adult movies will be completely put off by this since there is no plot at all. Fans of all sex movies are likely to be irritated by the odd color work in the movie and will likely find the movie unsatisfying as well. It lists him as the director but I wonder...There is very little language dialogue in this dvd, most scenes without any, so maybe it's a foreign shoot? I've seen lots of Tommy's stuff and this one wasn't anything special. Even the extras seemed lacking, with a photo gallery and lots of ads for phone sex and internet sex using what looks like old washed out VHS footage! The guys aren't named at all (one of my pet peeves) and the women are only listed by first name so probably one appearance and that's it from these ladies. The audio is clear and decently balanced, but the level changes throughout the movie so that you have to adjust the volume fairly often. The video is nicely lit and has a some slight grain. Directed by: Pierre Woodman Unlike most of the usual Private films, this has a running time of almost 3 hours which is a real bonus. So, i haven't seen the first part so i can't compare the two, but we are given an introduction to the story with brief clips from the first outing. Impressive it looks too! So the main guy is in jail, for a rape that he didn't commit. The plot continues as he tries to get free. There are some great sceneries and the women, most of whom are in the first part from what i can tell, are really hot. Unfortunetly, Judith Fox and the main cover girl don't get much screen time. But that's okay as Melody Kord fills in the space, and then there's also a scene with the gorgeous Gabriella. The sex is good, and lenthy, the breasts are real, there is anal, DP's, facials, the usual Private stuff. [read the full review]
