Prologue When this title was announced, I had an immediate interest in it. I don't think it's a groundbreaking concept, as I believe that Shane's World, Sex Across America, Misty Cam, and even Nacho Vidal's gathering of stars before shoots all fall into the same vein. It can also be seen as an episode of Real World done without censors. Still, it's a good idea, and could bear the fruit of a good gonzo. These people are all pornstars, and as such, know that they're expected to have sex, so I don't think there's going to be too much suspense about "will they or won't they". The cast here is filled with women I don't know much about, with the exception of Keeani Lei. The goofy Hawaiian could be a comic wild card here and prove to be a lot of fun in this casual environment. I've heard a lot about Joanna Angel and am anxious to see her in action. With House of Ass Tristan Taormino has accomplished her stated goal handily: shes created pornography you can enjoy on an intellectual level and will almost certainly spend hours discussing with friends but which can (and will) just as certainly get you off. Whats so compelling about the film is the way in which Taormino ignores the trend toward exploitative faux reality porn wherein guys trick girls into blowing them for money in the backs of vans to create real reality porn. Taormino uses a loose documentary style that takes us back to the vibe of the first season of The Real World when reality TV seemed, for a brief and flickering moment, like it might actually matter. Like the best documentaries this film draws you into its story, makes you care about its characters (who are, in this case, all attractive enough for a lesser director to simply exploit sexually without context) and, amazingly, actually gets you invested in the sex they have. Vault of Whores is up for an XRCO Award for Best Release and is a 3dvd set. One DVD is the regular movie, the second is the extras, and the third is a high definition wmv file with a requirement of a WMV HD player or a 2.4 Ghz computer processor. Now I only have an AMD Sempron that's 1.83 Ghz but I decided to be a sadist and try to play it anyway. Even though it strained the system, it played fine. I just couldn't fast forward or super rewind because the machine was begging me to stop. The results are visually spectacular and I was amazed especially with the way the scenes were shot and played out. My colleagues Bono and MLyons covered the play by play and synopsis so I won't go into detail over them. The main plot of the movie reminds me of Mean Girls as Sammie and her girls bully the new girl Taryn at school over Sammie's boyfriend. Guess Sammie wasn't too paranoid the way this movie came out. While I was watching Flower and Missy Monroe getting it on a dude, Missy text messaged me in the middle of it. Naughty College Schoolgirls 39 Directed by:Tyrone Shuz and Axel Braun - Initial Thoughts: New Sensations/Digital Sin, have come out with a variety of releases featuring multiple directors, that number seems to have increased quite a bit of late, it's an incredibly common practice in adult films, and sometimes it results in some interesting discs. Occasionally with NS/DS though, thier joint efforts seem a little rough around the edges, and this is a bit of an issue in this one, but without knowing who did what, where, or if the things that made it feel that way are all on one guy or both, I can't fault them or the system, so we will just move on. My first impression of this one, is "WHERE THE HELL ARE THE SCHOOLGIRLS ?" Don't get me wrong, this is a hot group of girls, and the disc is pretty well done, but there is only one outfit that would even remotely pass for a schoolgirl outfit, and there is virtually no mention by anyone about any of these girls being in college.
