Review brief: Directed by Alex De Renzy, "Pretty Peaches 3" garnered much in the way of critical and popular acclaim when it was first released back in 1989. Now, over a decade later, the video holds up only middlingly well despite it's "classic' status. I am not at all sure if today's "XXX-Generation" (those who maintain a steady diet of Max Hardcore and Sodomania) videos will have the patience for it. Shot on film, the DVD is much sharper and has better colors than its original VHS incarnation. For an old-timer like me, it was great to see actresses like Rachel Ryan, Victoria Paris, Tianna and Keisha back in action, although their best work has yet to hit DVD.The movie follows Keisha "on a quest for spritual enlightenment," but her encounters are more physical than anything else. Despite the fashion period of that time, Keisha looks great in just about every scene she's in. However, for whatever reason, Director De Renzy has chosen to mute her sexual performance and the results are disappointing.

Review brief: The Plot: What plot? It's a gonzo, so by definition we have no plot. There is this theme of someone with a handheld video camera peeking in windows and watching people have sex. It kind of runs like this: we start with a view from the handheld camera which apparently only shoots in black & white, and with a flashing "[REC]" in red in the corner. I suppose we are to believe that we are watching this through the viewfinder. We watch as our perverted cameraman approaches and films the characters in the scene getting within striking distance. At that point, we cut to a more traditional porno angle, and in color. Every now and then we cut back to the long shot from the "black and white" camera, just to remind you that someone is watching. The cameraman will duck around a bit, trying not to be seen, to add realism. Uh-huh. Sure. I'll admit it right now, I'm not a really big fan of gonzo. In fact, this is my first review of a gonzo film. Since I always include a plot section, I am a bit at a loss for what to say here. Let me just say that I miss my porn plot. Sigh.

Review brief: The Plot: Oh, how I love a movie with a plot! It doesn't have to be a completely consistent plot, but something with dialogue always gets my attention. And this movie has some great dialogue, most of it delivered by Tina Tyler. Stacy does her part very well, including an audition for Time Travelling Lobster Boy that is hilarious. Nikita and Vicca add a touch of the exotic in their few lines, and Randy Spears puts in a great performance as the workaholic husband. I apparently grew up with too much poorly acted porn, because I am continually amazed when I seen good performances, such as the ones in DMJ6. The tough part is describing the plot without laughing. This movie has some hilarious moments in it, most of them visual, some of them subtle, and a few that fall into "you just had to be there". We start our movie with Satan interviewing the newest catch, Buffy (Anita Cannibal). We flash back three days earlier where we see Buffy living in her trailer and ignoring her husband who works in the slaughterhouse.

Review brief: Cameron Grants Fantasy Chamber, shot on film, could have been an incredible DVD. Essentially its a collection of beautiful sex scenes. The performers are exceptionally attractive, the scenery is erotically intriguing, and the music is excitingly sensual. Sadly, the video quality is poor enough for me to notice. When lighting and camerawork are the main attributes of a movie, sharp video is imperative. That said, I still very much enjoyed some of the sex (and theres plenty of it!) While its unlike me to list out sex scenes in a review, its appropriate to this movie (and people keep telling me they want to know who screws who.) Thankfully the disc lists out acting credits by scene.1. Nicole Lace, Barbara Doll, Mark Davis apparently I havent watched enough porn cause I never before noticed what a great body Mark Davis has. Sometimes threesomes look like a couple with a third wheel. Not so in this mirror laden scene. All three beautiful bodies intermingle. The music (I guess its jazz) drowns out the moans a little too much, but its the perfect score for the scene.2.

Review brief: Directed by Alex De Renzy, "Pretty Peaches 3" garnered much in the way of critical and popular acclaim when it was first released back in 1989. Now, over a decade later, the video holds up only middlingly well despite it's "classic' status. I am not at all sure if today's "XXX-Generation" (those who maintain a steady diet of Max Hardcore and Sodomania) videos will have the patience for it. Shot on film, the DVD is much sharper and has better colors than its original VHS incarnation. For an old-timer like me, it was great to see actresses like Rachel Ryan, Victoria Paris, Tianna and Keisha back in action, although their best work has yet to hit DVD.The movie follows Keisha "on a quest for spritual enlightenment," but her encounters are more physical than anything else. Despite the fashion period of that time, Keisha looks great in just about every scene she's in. However, for whatever reason, Director De Renzy has chosen to mute her sexual performance and the results are disappointing.

Review brief: The Plot: What plot? It's a gonzo, so by definition we have no plot. There is this theme of someone with a handheld video camera peeking in windows and watching people have sex. It kind of runs like this: we start with a view from the handheld camera which apparently only shoots in black & white, and with a flashing "[REC]" in red in the corner. I suppose we are to believe that we are watching this through the viewfinder. We watch as our perverted cameraman approaches and films the characters in the scene getting within striking distance. At that point, we cut to a more traditional porno angle, and in color. Every now and then we cut back to the long shot from the "black and white" camera, just to remind you that someone is watching. The cameraman will duck around a bit, trying not to be seen, to add realism. Uh-huh. Sure. I'll admit it right now, I'm not a really big fan of gonzo. In fact, this is my first review of a gonzo film. Since I always include a plot section, I am a bit at a loss for what to say here. Let me just say that I miss my porn plot. Sigh.

Review brief: The Plot: Oh, how I love a movie with a plot! It doesn't have to be a completely consistent plot, but something with dialogue always gets my attention. And this movie has some great dialogue, most of it delivered by Tina Tyler. Stacy does her part very well, including an audition for Time Travelling Lobster Boy that is hilarious. Nikita and Vicca add a touch of the exotic in their few lines, and Randy Spears puts in a great performance as the workaholic husband. I apparently grew up with too much poorly acted porn, because I am continually amazed when I seen good performances, such as the ones in DMJ6. The tough part is describing the plot without laughing. This movie has some hilarious moments in it, most of them visual, some of them subtle, and a few that fall into "you just had to be there". We start our movie with Satan interviewing the newest catch, Buffy (Anita Cannibal). We flash back three days earlier where we see Buffy living in her trailer and ignoring her husband who works in the slaughterhouse.

Review brief: Cameron Grants Fantasy Chamber, shot on film, could have been an incredible DVD. Essentially its a collection of beautiful sex scenes. The performers are exceptionally attractive, the scenery is erotically intriguing, and the music is excitingly sensual. Sadly, the video quality is poor enough for me to notice. When lighting and camerawork are the main attributes of a movie, sharp video is imperative. That said, I still very much enjoyed some of the sex (and theres plenty of it!) While its unlike me to list out sex scenes in a review, its appropriate to this movie (and people keep telling me they want to know who screws who.) Thankfully the disc lists out acting credits by scene.1. Nicole Lace, Barbara Doll, Mark Davis apparently I havent watched enough porn cause I never before noticed what a great body Mark Davis has. Sometimes threesomes look like a couple with a third wheel. Not so in this mirror laden scene. All three beautiful bodies intermingle. The music (I guess its jazz) drowns out the moans a little too much, but its the perfect score for the scene.2.

Review brief: Tiffany Minx tells a story about what happened to her at Dresden. Her first lesson is about bondage, as she is chained to a wall. Next, she gets a lesson in obedience under Rebecca Lord's confident hand. Ernest Green teaches Tiffany about body modifcation, and finally she learns how to endure pain. Tiffany is excellent in this video, and her performance distinguishes this as an above-average bondage video. She has a perfect blend of shyness and eagerness, and those little sounds she makes are delicious. Personally, I prefer bondage scenes with a sub that's clearing enjoying herself, and Tiffany does a great job convincing me that she knows how to get into a fun head space. The doms are all competent; the only one that is exceptionally attractive, however, is Rebecca Lord, and her scene with Tiffany stands out. The A/V quality is only average for a bondage video, which isn' saying much.
