5 Films 5 Years Volume 1: Golden Age Erotica is an excellent limited edition Blu-ray collection of five classic adult films. The set contains Too Naughty to Say No, Hot and Saucy Pizza Girls, The Ribald Tales of Canterbury, Prisoner of Paradise, and Dixie Ray Hollywood Star. The films on the release span from 1978 to 1985 and, honestly, fans of golden age adult films should find several to their liking, even if not all of the films included are favorites. None of the films on this release have ever looked better on home video and 5 Films 5 Years Volume 1: Golden Age Erotica is definitely worth picking up before it is sold out. [read the full review]

Easy (Cal Vista) review summaries:
fu_q's
An unintentional encounter with a loser student leads a repressed-though-sexual, young teacher, Jesie St. James, down a dirty and ultimately unfulfilling path. Indeed, it seems that no matter which turn she takes in her life thereafter--for love, for lust, or for both--Jesi is destined for erotic despair. Such is the case in "Easy", a very good, 1978 release from VCX and director Anthony Spinelli. [read the full review]

Budding of Brie, The (VCA) review summaries:
classic connoisseur's
Length: 84 minutes Year: 1980 The Budding of Brie starring Hillary Summers revolves around the story of her and how she screws her way to the top in Hollywood and becomes a big star. This is a very classy looking film and looks like it had a very high budget. One thing I didn't like about the sex scenes was the excessive talking during them especially because they only had rather stupid things to say to each other. If they had had sexy things to say then it would have been ok but as it was this did not help the film. The video quality of this film is great as is the audio quality of this dvd. VCA has done a great job. I have bought a few VCA dvd's and have been impressed with all of them in terms of audio and video quality. There is a commentary track included with Jim Holliday and Shayla LaVeaux although this is not as informative as on some of the other classic VCA dvd's as neither of them was involved with the making of this film. Hot Slut Orgies review summaries:
NeoBumCleaver's
INTRODUCTION My newest XXX movie review is a peek at a delightful, group-sex themed porno, known as Hot Slut Orgies. Hot Slut Orgies was originally released in 1976 and many people consider the 70's THE decade for porno, with movies like Hot Slut Orgies who could blame them? This movie is entertaining and doesnt fail to deliver group sex in more than half the scenes, but whether the average joe will find this movie sexy in the traditional sense is up for question. There are a lot of people out there who like to watch porn containing generic looking porn starlets with perfect silicone tits and plastic bodies to get themselves off, (and who can blame them since their girlfriends are so ugly.) If you are one of these types then Hot Slut Orgies probably isnt for you. [read the full review]

V the Hot One (Cal Vista Classics) review summaries:
fu_q's
Talk of a local whorehouse at a dinner party rekindles old memories and repressed desires buried surface-deep within Annette Haven, a seemingly proper housewife with an extremely sexual past, prompting her to explore and act out her innermost fantasies in real life. Almost uncontrollably, she goes about doing so, giving in to each and every erotic whim along the way...often driven simply by shear impulse. She blows her hubby's friend (Paul Thomas) early on in her progression, has sex with perverts in an X-rated theatre, prostitutes herself out to a sailor on the street, and eventually ends up working at the bordello itself...all unbeknownst to her husband at home, John Leslie. With the expression of her sexual proclivities magnifying and escalating at every turn, and nothing but a slight bit of subconscious remorse to put the brakes on, Annette finds herself quickly spinning into the depths of sexual deviation...and enjoying every minute of it. Such is the case in "V the Hot One". [read the full review]

Hot Rackets review summaries:
fu_q's
The "frigid", brunette legend, Candida Royalle, goes to investigate when her husband, Jon Martin, is spending far too much of his time at the local, members-only tennis club and far too little of it with her. Of course, what she finds is that the club is predominantly a horny haven for husbands and ho's, whose focus is distinctly more on fucking than it is on fuzzy balls and rackets. Whether Candida will get totally pissed off by her discovery or merely succumb to the club's various sexual trappings becomes the pressing question of the day. Such is the case in "Hot Rackets", an exceptional, 1979 release from Cal Vista and director Robert McCallum. [read the full review]

Directed by Robert McCallum 1979 Runtime: 1 hour 20 minutes 38 seconds Truly a classic adult film. That it is a product of the seventies is clear from the opening credits where the screen is broken into four parts with a tennis ball in the middle. Over the tennis ball are displayed the names of the cast and primary crew, and the four screens play various clips from the film whetting the viewers appetite and preparing them for what is about to come. It all starts when Herb Adler (John Martin) wakes up and rolls over to his nude wife, Liz (Candida Royalle). He begins to grope her and tries to arouse her, but she will have none of it. Through an angry exchange on Herb's part, we find out that this is their usual behavior. Herb claims she is frigid. She does not deny this, and Herb storms off to get a shower. In the shower, the maid Sally (Chris Cassidy) expresses her sympathy for Herb. [read the full review]

All bets are off when a struggling actor who also happens to be a smooth-talking ladies' man, Jamie Gillis, signs on to be a part of a plot hatched by a wealthy, Hollywood mogul to cheat his relatives (a sister and four nieces) out of their inheritance from his dying (...and wealthier...) anti-sex crusader of a brother. Of course, this is a porno, so Jamie and his pals (John Leslie and Paul Thomas) are tasked with bedding all of the women in the family (with proof) to demonstrate their profound lack of morality and to get them kicked out of the will. The only thing that might get in the way of such an "easy", foolproof plan? Love. Such is the case in "The Ecstasy Girls", an exceptional, 1979 release from Caballero and director Robert McCallum. Here is a splendid little classic from 1979, produced by Harold Lime and directed by Robert McCallum. As is usual with "Golden Age" classics, the plot, acting, exterior shots and general production values are outstanding. This flick was shot on location in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe and San Francisco. They dont make them like this anymore. Jamie Gillis plays a washed up B-movie star who is down on his luck. He has been reduced to escorting starlets to movie premieres, a service for which his agent pays him a few bucks plus expenses. He still makes the rounds of Hollywood parties, however, and at one such event, his host, J.C. Church, observes him seducing Desiree Cousteau. It is a hypnotic scene; Cousteau was a beautiful girl with wonderful, natural breasts. Georgina Spelvin secretly observes them, while being secretly observed herself by J.C. Church telephones Gillis that night with an interesting proposition. J.C. is the brother of Edgar Church, a rich industrialist from whom J.C. stands to inherit money. [read the full review]

Starring: Jessie St.James, Desiree Cousteau, Georgina Spelvin, Richard Pacheco, Mike Horner Directed By: Anthony Spinelli Wistfully conjuring daydreams and calling them goals, some often say that before they die they'd like to travel the world, or finally read the complete works of Shakespeare. To those people, let me say this: Everything worth seeing in Europe is on top of a hill, and the important characters in Shakespeare all die. Actually, I don't recall anyone dying in A Midsummer Night's Dream, but that's beside the point. What I'm getting at is that these lofty goals are frequently not worth pursuing. Europe is exhausting and Shakespeare is sad. Instead, may I recommend you turn your cultural attentions to classic porn? Nobody gets stabbed with a poisoned sword and everyone gets laid. And sometimes, they have funny haircuts. One of the best, and most overlooked among the "good ol' day" roster of porn titles is Easy. [read the full review]

"Easy" is a Golden Classic release by NuTech of a movie first released on film in 1979. The first thing that piqued my interest about this title was the prominent placement on the case saying all sex scenes are multiple angle. I was interested in where they found the extra footage and hoped this would be explained in the commentary. When the alternate angle icon showed up on the screen, I switched angles, to find that the "multiple angle" was merely the film reversed. There is no extra footage, and reversing the film has an interesting side effect, the lips don't match the voice. Throughout the rest of the movie, the angle icon becomes a constant reminder of the wool the studio tried to pull over the eyes of the viewers.Getting more into the action of the movie, this seems typical of 1970s porn and reminds me of Insatiable, another classic movie. Considering this is a film transfer, the video is surprisingly clear with good color reproduction. There are some visable flaws, but this look to be from the original film media, and not a side effect of being transfered. [read the full review]

You know that when you have a classic on your hands youre going to see things you dont see in todays porn. Easy is all about what you wont see in the modern age of porn: a student who grabs his teacher after class and makes her lick his cum covered dick; a 17 yr old boy who breaks into teachers house and turns her on at knifepoint; a woman tongue fucking a guys ass; a catfight which results in one woman raping/seducing the other; full-body camera shots, kissing, foreplay, lots of bush, and tube socks. Exited yet? Well, you should be cause Easy is one of the most arousing flicks on DVD.Filmed in 1979, Easy was Jesie St. James first starring role. I wouldnt have known that if not for the Jim Holliday/ Jill Kelly commentary. Jesie appears the professional in every way. The plot is basically a few years in the life of a schoolteacher turned slut. [read the full review]
