(cover says 90 which I assume includes the photo gallery) Production Date: 11 / 2 / 1997 Director: Andrew Blake Cast: Dita, Anita Blonde, Inari Vachs, Temptress, Nina, Regina Hull, and Dale Bonet Initial Expectations: From what Ive seen, Andrew Blake makes some of the most artistic porn out there. Ive got high expectations. Initial Reaction: Wow. Its beautiful, artistic, and very erotic. Audio /Video Quality: The picture is so clear that I wasnt sure if it was even shot on film. To my knowledge, Blake always shoots on film, so this DVD shows that porn shot on film doesnt have to look grainy. There are almost no sex sounds in the audio. There is a voice over in some parts of the movie which is very clear. Music: The music varies from the Ave Maria to techno. It fits the scenes and, like everything else, is very well done. Review: As with most of Andrew Blakes films, there isnt much plot. Even saying that much might be stretching the amount of plot in Pin-Ups 2 . Instead theres more of a general theme.

Initial Reaction: What? Oh, Im sorry I must have dozed off there. Audio /Video Quality: The picture is a little below average. Theres some pixelation problems, such as the entire screen flashing fuzzy for a moment. Considering the horrible lighting for almost the entire movie Im surprised that the picture isnt worse than what it is. The audio isnt too bad as you can hear everything pretty well. Theres a little bit of dubbing, but the most annoying thing is that you can hear the noises from the surroundings as good or better than the sounds you want to hear. Music: Its well balanced but a little cheesier than normal porno music.

Review brief: There is no question in my mind that Jenna Jameson epitomizes the prototypical porn babe: blonde, flashy, curvy and with a eye-popping, healthy chest courtesy of Dow Corning, it's easy to see why she has become America's hardcore sweetheart. However, I will admit that with the exception of her earliest appearances in Old Man Randy West's UP AND CUMMER series (in particular the previously reviewed UP AND CUMMERS #11, where she is, in the words of Robert Palmer, "simply irresistable"), I have not exactly been a member of her fan following. To me, she just doesn't have the appeal of a Ginger Lynn, Nikki Dial, or even Ashlyn Gere, to name a few undisputed legends of porn. And her 1995 starring role in THE WICKED ONE does nothing to change my mind. Beginning with an opening scream and scrawled warning, "Don't fuck with Jenna" on the DVD's menu, this release from Wicked is a fairly good porn package, and co-stars some overlooked favorites like Tiffany Million and Channone, as well as present-day superstars like Jill Kelly.

Although I have hopes for the movie, I dont expect much of a DVD. Initial Reaction: Its kind of fun but nothing special. Audio /Video Quality: I dont think anything has been done since the original VHS release as the video quality is VHS quality at best. The audio synchs pretty well but a lot of the dialogue is kind of hard to understand. Music: The music is your typical porno music. Its way too loud for many of the scenes. Disc Problems: Once again, Sin City has no time code on the movie. Sin City also seems to think that its a good idea to have mandatory phone sex ads and a mandatory commercial for their web site before the main menu. Review: Wow. My 100th review. I have to admit that I never really thought Id get this far.

Review brief: There was an excellent film called "Bad Wives" directed by Paul Thomas for Vivid, and featuring the incredibly beautiful Dyanna Lauren and Melissa Hill. Unfortunately, that movie is not available on DVD. The DVD that Vivid is marketing under the name of "Bad Wives" has been cut to ribbons. It should really be called "Outtakes from Bad Wives." Comparing the VHS version with the DVD, I counted over 20 separate cuts, some of them lengthy. We're not talking just cutting out dialogue; sex scenes have been cut up, too, including some of the best parts. The best scene is between Jon Dough and Dyanna Lauren, taking place on a stairway. Large chunks of it have been excised. Even the final three-way between Steven St. Croix, Melissa Hill, and Dyanna Lauren, which should have been sacrosanct if no other scene was, had cuts in it. As presented in the DVD, the plot makes no sense whatsoever, whereas in the video version, the film has at least an adequate plot. I now know why other highly praised Vivid films I have seen only on DVD, such as "Bobby Sox" and "Beautiful", were choppy and made no plot sensel.

Initial Reaction: Its very good. Its almost as good as many of Wicked and VCAs titles. Audio /Video Quality: Looker was shot on film, which, as far as I know, is typical of most of Nic Cramers movies. Since its shot on film there is some grain but its not too bad. Theres just enough grain that you notice it. For being shot on film its about as little grain as Ive seen in an adult movie. The audio is well balanced, although there are a couple flaws in the movie. Theyre not that noticeable and the audio synchs very well throughout the movie. Music: The music varies some in style to match the scene.

Review brief: This is a very well done movie, I had my doubts about buying this DVD, but my curiousity got the better of me. I am glad that I did buy it, because these "girls" are hot! For those who haven't seen this film, I'll give a little break down of the scenes: (All the scenes start out with the "girls" doing a little tease dancing) SCENE ONE : Samantha and a guy. Samantha is a beautiful and functional transsexual. They have sex in many different positions, until they both orgasm. SCENE TWO : Danyelle and a guy. Danyelle is another beautiful and functional transsexual. "She" is petite and well endowed. They both orgasm at the end of the scene. SCENE THREE : Benneton(not sure of spelling) and a girl. Freaked out, but turned on. Now, don't go expecting haiku in this VCA release; there are none to be found. And if there were any, they'd be better than mine, to be sure. What you will find, on the other hand, is a brain in a jar, a hot 70's era virgin sucking dick, a man who gets sick at the thought of sex with Raylene, two fucking mimes, and of course, Stacy Valentine and a man with two dildos for horns. Director Antonio Passolini is a lot like David Lynch on viagra, but this is not weirdness for weirdness' sake. The only bad thing about this dvd is that you can't remove the menu bars like how you can in the virtual sex. But this dvd is more fun, better shot, and has more "options" than virtual sex series. Also the background is not a black cloth like how it is in virtual sex, in my plaything you are in a bedroom. So much of what's on this DVD is what I've been looking for as a consumer that it's hard to believe that he and VCA had anyone but their customers at the center of their collective agenda. Professionalism and sexual heat are not mutually exclusive as this DVD proves. Shayla's Web is thoughtful, entertaining, well shot, packed with extras, and most importantly, it is full of hot action. Here, Ninn explores the idea of internet sexual addiction.

Review brief: I walked into this disc hoping to spot some seriously hot nasty action. Instead, I was disappointed, but mostly from the high expectation I had considering Mr North and Tera Patrick were starring. These two did not have a scene together. Huge bummer. His scenes with the non-Teras were good, but nothing spectacular. No heat in the sex - and the North blasts were ok. I was looking for shorter scenes with more heat in them - instead they seem to drag. Also, the direction at times does not take advantage of these georgeous sex loving girls. Case in point - Tera Patrick. I can name ten different camera angles that would have been better to show off this goddess' body. In comparison to most films in this category, the production is first rate.

Review brief: Dangerous Things is the third installment in the Private Penthouse series. To save you zooming through this review let me tell you straight off....this dvd is fantastic and my girlfriend thought so too! Cast: Alexa, Andrea, Isabel, Katja Love, Lea de Mae, Sandra and the awesome Silvia Saint. Running Time: 2 hours and 5 minutes. Director: the talented Mr. Antonio Adamo. Having seen the first two dvd's in this series 'Call Girl' and 'Fashion' I knew I was in for a treat. It is difficult to put into words how this Antonio Adamo works his magic, but in the dvd he does is it exceptionally well. His basic ingredients contain the most incredible naturally formed European women, pitting them against some of the most well endowed men in the adult industry and capturing the hot sex that happens using the latest in audio and visual technology. The story, which is always less important than the sex no matter what other reviewers may say is not so bad either.

Yet, I found myself enjoying this edition in her long running series not just for the sex, but because it's interesting. That's right, thought provoking porn that reveals more about it's performers than what their genitals look like close up. Ostensibly, this is a long x- rated home movie featuring a cast of pornstars in Key West, but it comes across as more of a true documentary. Shane does not appear at all on camera, in sex scenes or anywhere else.

Review brief: There is no question in my mind that Jenna Jameson epitomizes the prototypical porn babe: blonde, flashy, curvy and with a eye-popping, healthy chest courtesy of Dow Corning, it's easy to see why she has become America's hardcore sweetheart. However, I will admit that with the exception of her earliest appearances in Old Man Randy West's UP AND CUMMER series (in particular the previously reviewed UP AND CUMMERS #11, where she is, in the words of Robert Palmer, "simply irresistable"), I have not exactly been a member of her fan following. To me, she just doesn't have the appeal of a Ginger Lynn, Nikki Dial, or even Ashlyn Gere, to name a few undisputed legends of porn. And her 1995 starring role in THE WICKED ONE does nothing to change my mind. Review brief: There was an excellent film called "Bad Wives" directed by Paul Thomas for Vivid, and featuring the incredibly beautiful Dyanna Lauren and Melissa Hill. Unfortunately, that movie is not available on DVD. The DVD that Vivid is marketing under the name of "Bad Wives" has been cut to ribbons. It should really be called "Outtakes from Bad Wives." Comparing the VHS version with the DVD, I counted over 20 separate cuts, some of them lengthy. We're not talking just cutting out dialogue; sex scenes have been cut up, too, including some of the best parts. The best scene is between Jon Dough and Dyanna Lauren, taking place on a stairway. Large chunks of it have been excised. Even the final three-way between Steven St. Croix, Melissa Hill, and Dyanna Lauren, which should have been sacrosanct if no other scene was, had cuts in it. As presented in the DVD, the plot makes no sense whatsoever, whereas in the video version, the film has at least an adequate plot. I now know why other highly praised Vivid films I have seen only on DVD, such as "Bobby Sox" and "Beautiful", were choppy and made no plot sensel.

Review brief: This is the best "my plaything" in the series. Stacy Valetine looks very good in this one, as always. It is just like all the other plaything series such as Jewel De Nyle and Tera Patrick. The new part of this "my plaything" is that there's scissor position in the sex section. A sybian in the masturbation section. The picture is super clear. The scenes and the alternate angles are well shot and offers good effects. This is one of the best dvd of all time! It rivals with the virtual sex series with tera patrick and julia ann by digital playground. The only bad thing about this dvd is that you can't remove the menu bars like how you can in the virtual sex. But this dvd is more fun, better shot, and has more "options" than virtual sex series. Also the background is not a black cloth like how it is in virtual sex, in my plaything you are in a bedroom. If my plaything had the option of removing menu bars, it would definately be better than the virtual sex series. Overall this is a must get dvd for all porn lovers.

Review brief: Jewel de Nyle looks very good in this dvd, perhaps the best ever. Her body is incredible in this dvd. My plaything by digital sin did a awesome job in the interactive sex dvd format. In this dvd, there are many options, a strip tease section, do-you-do-me section, masturbation section, and of course the sex section. You can have Jewel finger herself or you fingering her and also dildos and other tasks. Also there's an anal scene in the sex section in addition to missionary, doggy, top, reverse top. This dvd offers a lot more options when compared to virtual sex by digital playground. The scenes in my plaything are well shot, and the 2nd angle is well choiced and if it is a close up then it moves smoothly up and down or side to side to showing what's going on and adds a nice effect. So much of what's on this DVD is what I've been looking for as a consumer that it's hard to believe that he and VCA had anyone but their customers at the center of their collective agenda. Professionalism and sexual heat are not mutually exclusive as this DVD proves. Shayla's Web is thoughtful, entertaining, well shot, packed with extras, and most importantly, it is full of hot action. Here, Ninn explores the idea of internet sexual addiction.

Review brief: I walked into this disc hoping to spot some seriously hot nasty action. Instead, I was disappointed, but mostly from the high expectation I had considering Mr North and Tera Patrick were starring. These two did not have a scene together. Huge bummer. His scenes with the non-Teras were good, but nothing spectacular. No heat in the sex - and the North blasts were ok. I was looking for shorter scenes with more heat in them - instead they seem to drag. Also, the direction at times does not take advantage of these georgeous sex loving girls. Case in point - Tera Patrick. I can name ten different camera angles that would have been better to show off this goddess' body. In comparison to most films in this category, the production is first rate.

To save you zooming through this review let me tell you straight off....this dvd is fantastic and my girlfriend thought so too! Cast: Alexa, Andrea, Isabel, Katja Love, Lea de Mae, Sandra and the awesome Silvia Saint. Running Time: 2 hours and 5 minutes. Director: the talented Mr. Antonio Adamo. Having seen the first two dvd's in this series 'Call Girl' and 'Fashion' I knew I was in for a treat. It is difficult to put into words how this Antonio Adamo works his magic, but in the dvd he does is it exceptionally well. His basic ingredients contain the most incredible naturally formed European women, pitting them against some of the most well endowed men in the adult industry and capturing the hot sex that happens using the latest in audio and visual technology. The story, which is always less important than the sex no matter what other reviewers may say is not so bad either.

I was so violently ill at the time that getting an erection was about as remote a possibility as me being picked to join Shane's next sexual travelogue. Yet, I found myself enjoying this edition in her long running series not just for the sex, but because it's interesting. That's right, thought provoking porn that reveals more about it's performers than what their genitals look like close up. Ostensibly, this is a long x- rated home movie featuring a cast of pornstars in Key West, but it comes across as more of a true documentary. Shane does not appear at all on camera, in sex scenes or anywhere else.

I didnt notice a single blur in the entire movie. The audio is very good, but theres a spot or two that appears to be dubbed. Theres also a few spots where the audio seems hollow and echoes. The only problems with that line of thinking is a) it's a Wicked release and I have yet to watch a bad Wicked DVD b) Brad Armstong wrote, produced, and directed it and Brad has done some excellent adult films. So, I'm not exactly sure what to expect, but I'm sure it will be good. Initial Reaction: This is a great all sex feature and a very well put together DVD. Audio /Video Quality: As usual from Wicked, the transfer is very good. Theres a little grain to the picture, but not a lot and it isnt that noticeable.
