Cons: wanted to skip one chick, another didn't do too much for me, action starts too fast, limp dick Must see moment: Peter gives Jewel the biggest cum dousing I have ever seen. First off: This DVD boasts to have Jewels first anal. I am starting to feel as though such a boast is a sure sign that you will be disappointed by the DVD in it's entirety. Jewel/ Peter Jewel and Peter are riding in a boat. The water is very blue and adds to the visual aspect of the DVD. There is a voice over for both Jewel and Peter. Jewel is thinking about how she wants it in the ass and Peter is thinking about how he wants to put it in her ass. This scene is pretty good because of the nice scenery, including Jewel, and Jewel's enthusiasm.

Review brief: Fashion is the second Private/Penthouse DVD release. The first being Call Girl. Both are truely excellent films. Antonio Adamo did a brilliant job of directing. And the women are so beautiful that my whole body aches when I look at them. Before I get down to the scenes, some general comments about the movie. Yes, it does have some kind of plot, but I don't know what it is - something about a fashion designer going out on her own and overcoming obstacles. (I guess this makes me a raincoater) ;) The women are constantly looking at the camera. I find this very hot! But other people have wrote that they did not like this. The sex in Adamo's film is carefully planned and somewhat subdued. There is no hot sweaty fucking with wild abandon going on this this film. Everybody seems to know exactly what positions they should be in and where they should look. Again, some people may find this a turn off, but I don't mind. As in all (at least all the Private films I have), the audio is dubbed over.

Review brief: With the word "Perversion" in the title, and the name of the studio being "Bizarre", I don't think it unreasonable to expect a wee bit more than extended massage and lite spanking. But well, more than that there ain't. The chemistry is decent between the various combination of performers. It's obvious that all are into spanking and the roles of dominant and submissive. The best chemistry is between Summer and Anna it's readily apparent that they dig each other, that this scene could be just part of a ongoing larger relationship. And the use of crushed oranges and bananas is either hot, interesting or yucky depending on your mental wiring. However, despite being only an hour long, this DVD dragged, each of the three pairings dragged. There was no nasty psychological dynamic between the players, it was closer to "Tee Hee I like Spanking" and "Tee Hee I like to be Spanked".

Review brief: WHEN ROCCO MEATS KELLY 2 is the highly praised sequel to the modern mainstream classic, WHEN HARRY MET SALLY. Just a joke, folks. Actually, this title from Evil Angel may be somewhat tortuously named [only Rocco Siffredi Productions could use the word "meat" as a verb!], but is entirely appropriate for a movie starring one of the most recognized male performers in porn history. However, let me be perfectly honest...I prefer Rocco's work under the creative direction from superior directors like John Stagliano and Andrew Blake. In what very well may be the set of blue movies of all time, FACEDANCE 1 and 2, Stagliano showcased his Euro stud's enviable talents with some very hot and superbly staged sex scenes (including the anal stunner with Chrissy Ann and the wildly choreographed "blindfold orgy"). Likewise, in SECRETS and HOUSE OF DREAMS, Blake captured the incredible beauty of Zara Whites and Raven in heatedly athletic sex scenes which never lost the trademark artistic beauty for which this director is known.

By the same token, however, I don't think "classic" movies are inherently better than what's made today. With that in mind, Blue Ribbon Blue presents itself as a greatest hits package of classic stars. Unfortunately, it's not. In fact, it was produced years ago before its performers were even considered legends, and its poor mastering reflect just how much of a thrown together effort it actually is. Had they known that it would be released in the 21st century, it's producers may have paid closer attention to what they included.

Review brief: A cleverly descriptive and aptly titled series from Anabolic, NICE RACK continues in the company's tradition of giving steamy hardcore in a well-developed package. This fourth edition of the series is a pretty clear winner overall, and will only disappoint those who don't like raw and nasty fucking and sucking, or other who actually prefer to see silicone packed into a porn star's chest like stuffing in a turkey. Of course, it does help that NICE RACK #4 also happens to feature one of the most popular starlets of the new millennium, namely Tera Patrick, who is always stunning in appearance and performance. This two-hour, twenty minute production features six straight sex scenes with six different actresses.

Review brief: Pretty star-studded lineup, eh? Well, when Raw's under the Vivid line (both sort of "co-promote" this DVD) you can expect a lot of names. From a site standpoint, to make the template for this review, I copied The Other Side Of Chloe's file, which is rather appropriate - this is in the same style as that great DVD, but hosted by the charming Asia Carrera. She strips, fondles and plays with herself while introducing a bunch of separate scenes. Much like TOSOC, the scenes have nothing to do with each other, other than that they're all introed by Asia and they all have sex in them. For some reason, I'm horrible with names while watching this - either they look different or I can't recognize them. For instance, I can't find Dyanna in here, although I looked through all the scenes, and the extras. Maybe I'm just blind. Watching all these DVDs will do that to you after a while. :) No problems with any of the scenes, but my favorites were the lez scene between Asia and Kobe Tai (way too short, though) and of course, Chloe's m/f scene.

Review brief: The second DVD I bought, and the first one from big name Vivid. Right off, you notice the difference between this DVD and one from a smaller company like VXI - tons and tons of extra features. Even the quality on the DVD is higher, a direct result of Vivid's production values. Multiple angles show off the advancement of the DVD technology, as you can switch to different views of the action. We'll start with the good points - the women look great in this video, especially Kobe Tai, the star of the flick, and the beautiful Deva, especially when they engage in the final and hottest scene of the video. The dancing between Deva and Jacklyn Lick is also tremendous, and even better, this scene features multiple angles. Ever wanted to see a lapdance from a different angle? Go right ahead. It's fun! Now the bad part. The rest of the scenes are..well, not nearly as good. They consist mainly of Kobe peeping in on couples twice, being caught once and dragged into the middle of a threesome.

Review brief: In the last review, I complained about the lack of a good plot and a lack of really good action. Not so in this one. It doesn't pretend to have a plot at all. In fact, there's almost zero dialogue. There's a house. There's men, and there's women. In and around the house, they have sex. It doesn't get much more cut and dried than that, friends. The action carries the flick, and the action is great, with all the stops being pulled out. The first scene demonstrates that, with Racquel, Derrick Lane and Tianna all going at it, finishing with Racquel using a strapon on Tianna. In a bit of a cheesy bit, Tianna inquires if Racquel would go for an anal with Derrick. Racquel considers it as we fade out to...more sex. That set the tone for the entire movie, with multiple scenes going on at once in and around the house. No dialogue, no plot, nothing but sex, sex, and more sex. And it works. Racquel's the definite star of this movie (well, duh, she's on the box, see?) turning in stellar performances in three scenes.

Review brief: First things first, somebody must like me out there - after I complained about the DVDs I've seen not having any good credits, in order to match names to faces, this one has the perfect solution - run clips of each star and then a screen with their name. Bravo to Vivid! Chloe impresses me every time I see her, as her scene scorched the beginning of the movie. She gets plowed in an extended scene by Tony Tedeschi and looks like she's going nuts as she's doing it. By the time it's over, they're almost panting for breath due to the exertion, giving Chloe that ever-so-nice glow. :) The movie has two scenes featuring Leslie Glass and Ricky O (her real-life S/O). The first scene was good, but disjointed, as they change around positions too much to really get into a groove. The second scene is much better, with much better transitions and an anal scene, which is apparently rare for Les.

The picture is one of the grainiest Ive ever seen. In one close-up I could barely tell what I was looking at. Thats pretty bad for porn. The audio is clearer than the video, but still leaves a lot to be desired. Several of the people in the cast are foreign, and it was hard to understand what they were saying. I know that a lot of that was the accents, but a clearer audio would have helped it a lot. Also, several scenes were noticeably dubbed. The sex audio was a mixed bad because many of the scenes didnt have audio other than the music. Music: The music is a light jazz. Its the same kind of music almost any guy would play when a woman comes over that he wants to score with to make her think hes a sensitive guy.

Review brief: This is another personal favorite from my collection that gets a decent amount of playtime. Statistical information: Disc type: 2 sides, 1 layer Feature length: about 2 hrs Extras: stills, clips, trailers I have acquired a handful of Vivid Raw titles just because they often are on sale at various netstores. The quality varies a lot: sometimes you get a DVD that should be good on the outset but isn't (Femme 2), and sometimes there are one or two hot scenes amidst less exciting stuff (Channel X). You hope to come across the occasional gem. Choose Your Cooze is the best of the lot so far. It is also an all-condom movie, penetration-wise, so those who have a strong aversion to condoms can leave at this point. Still here? Good. The premise is simple. Apparently the producer called a bunch of pornstars and asked them who they'd want to work with, and the results can be seen on this DVD.

Its one of my favorites and I hope that this one is just as good. At the very least, I have a lot of confidence in Evil Angel putting together a very well made DVD with a great transfer and plenty of well done extras. Initial Reaction: It isnt Face Dance Part 1, but it doesnt try to be either. For a gonzo movie, its going to be hard to beat. Audio /Video Quality: The transfer appears to be very good. Theres some focus issues, but nothing worse than any other gonzo movie. The audio synchs great and is very clear in all but a couple outdoor situations. Music: The music feels out of place. Thankfully, its only in a couple scenes, so it doesnt detract from the movie that much.

It's an excuse to watch lots of people doing it. Of course, this isn't a complaint so much as it is an observation--an observation particularly important to note since most people expect more from a Vivid production. I, however, feel the typical Vivid self indulgences get in the way of what I really want. In that respect, Devil's Blackjack starts off in the right direction. Here, we look in on purgatory's game show in which recently departed souls play a quick game of chance to determine if they go to Hell or porn nirvana. The game, of course, is blackjack and Bobby Vitale is our excitable host. The Vanna White to his Pat Sajak is the overwhelmingly cute Devon, who not only deals the cards, but is also the grand prize on more than one occasion.

Yes, it does have some kind of plot, but I don't know what it is - something about a fashion designer going out on her own and overcoming obstacles. (I guess this makes me a raincoater) ;) The women are constantly looking at the camera. I find this very hot! But other people have wrote that they did not like this. The sex in Adamo's film is carefully planned and somewhat subdued. There is no hot sweaty fucking with wild abandon going on this this film. Everybody seems to know exactly what positions they should be in and where they should look. Again, some people may find this a turn off, but I don't mind. But well, more than that there ain't. The chemistry is decent between the various combination of performers. It's obvious that all are into spanking and the roles of dominant and submissive. The best chemistry is between Summer and Anna it's readily apparent that they dig each other, that this scene could be just part of a ongoing larger relationship. And the use of crushed oranges and bananas is either hot, interesting or yucky depending on your mental wiring. However, despite being only an hour long, this DVD dragged, each of the three pairings dragged. Review brief: Pretty star-studded lineup, eh? Well, when Raw's under the Vivid line (both sort of "co-promote" this DVD) you can expect a lot of names. From a site standpoint, to make the template for this review, I copied The Other Side Of Chloe's file, which is rather appropriate - this is in the same style as that great DVD, but hosted by the charming Asia Carrera. She strips, fondles and plays with herself while introducing a bunch of separate scenes. Much like TOSOC, the scenes have nothing to do with each other, other than that they're all introed by Asia and they all have sex in them. For some reason, I'm horrible with names while watching this - either they look different or I can't recognize them. For instance, I can't find Dyanna in here, although I looked through all the scenes, and the extras. Maybe I'm just blind. Watching all these DVDs will do that to you after a while. :) No problems with any of the scenes, but my favorites were the lez scene between Asia and Kobe Tai (way too short, though) and of course, Chloe's m/f scene.

Review brief: The second DVD I bought, and the first one from big name Vivid. Right off, you notice the difference between this DVD and one from a smaller company like VXI - tons and tons of extra features. Even the quality on the DVD is higher, a direct result of Vivid's production values. Multiple angles show off the advancement of the DVD technology, as you can switch to different views of the action. We'll start with the good points - the women look great in this video, especially Kobe Tai, the star of the flick, and the beautiful Deva, especially when they engage in the final and hottest scene of the video. The dancing between Deva and Jacklyn Lick is also tremendous, and even better, this scene features multiple angles. Ever wanted to see a lapdance from a different angle? Go right ahead. It's fun! Now the bad part. The rest of the scenes are..well, not nearly as good. They consist mainly of Kobe peeping in on couples twice, being caught once and dragged into the middle of a threesome.

Review brief: In the last review, I complained about the lack of a good plot and a lack of really good action. Not so in this one. It doesn't pretend to have a plot at all. In fact, there's almost zero dialogue. There's a house. There's men, and there's women. In and around the house, they have sex. It doesn't get much more cut and dried than that, friends. The action carries the flick, and the action is great, with all the stops being pulled out. The first scene demonstrates that, with Racquel, Derrick Lane and Tianna all going at it, finishing with Racquel using a strapon on Tianna. In a bit of a cheesy bit, Tianna inquires if Racquel would go for an anal with Derrick. Racquel considers it as we fade out to...more sex. That set the tone for the entire movie, with multiple scenes going on at once in and around the house. No dialogue, no plot, nothing but sex, sex, and more sex. And it works. Racquel's the definite star of this movie (well, duh, she's on the box, see?) turning in stellar performances in three scenes.

Review brief: First things first, somebody must like me out there - after I complained about the DVDs I've seen not having any good credits, in order to match names to faces, this one has the perfect solution - run clips of each star and then a screen with their name. Bravo to Vivid! Chloe impresses me every time I see her, as her scene scorched the beginning of the movie. She gets plowed in an extended scene by Tony Tedeschi and looks like she's going nuts as she's doing it. By the time it's over, they're almost panting for breath due to the exertion, giving Chloe that ever-so-nice glow. :) The movie has two scenes featuring Leslie Glass and Ricky O (her real-life S/O). The first scene was good, but disjointed, as they change around positions too much to really get into a groove. The second scene is much better, with much better transitions and an anal scene, which is apparently rare for Les.

I know that a lot of that was the accents, but a clearer audio would have helped it a lot. Also, several scenes were noticeably dubbed. The sex audio was a mixed bad because many of the scenes didnt have audio other than the music. Music: The music is a light jazz. Its the same kind of music almost any guy would play when a woman comes over that he wants to score with to make her think hes a sensitive guy.

Statistical information: Disc type: 2 sides, 1 layer Feature length: about 2 hrs Extras: stills, clips, trailers I have acquired a handful of Vivid Raw titles just because they often are on sale at various netstores. The quality varies a lot: sometimes you get a DVD that should be good on the outset but isn't (Femme 2), and sometimes there are one or two hot scenes amidst less exciting stuff (Channel X). You hope to come across the occasional gem. Choose Your Cooze is the best of the lot so far. It is also an all-condom movie, penetration-wise, so those who have a strong aversion to condoms can leave at this point. Still here? Good. The premise is simple. Apparently the producer called a bunch of pornstars and asked them who they'd want to work with, and the results can be seen on this DVD.

Initial Reaction: It isnt Face Dance Part 1, but it doesnt try to be either. For a gonzo movie, its going to be hard to beat. Audio /Video Quality: The transfer appears to be very good. Theres some focus issues, but nothing worse than any other gonzo movie. The audio synchs great and is very clear in all but a couple outdoor situations. Music: The music feels out of place. Thankfully, its only in a couple scenes, so it doesnt detract from the movie that much.

It's an excuse to watch lots of people doing it. I, however, feel the typical Vivid self indulgences get in the way of what I really want. In that respect, Devil's Blackjack starts off in the right direction. Here, we look in on purgatory's game show in which recently departed souls play a quick game of chance to determine if they go to Hell or porn nirvana. Review brief: With an Anabolic title, you pretty much always know what you are getting. If the title is "Butt Banged Naughty Nurses" (from back in '97), you know there'll be scenes featuring anal sex and pornstars dressed as nurses and no plot to distract "you wankers at home", as Sabrina would put it. Sabrina Johnson sits in a dentist's chair and introduces the scenes. I wonder if Sabrina talks like that in real life, or is she trying to sound sexy in a kind of innocent-butt-nasty way. Or maybe she is not quite convinced by her lines, like "I get so horny watching girls get their ass stretched wide" and so on. Whatever, she looks cute in that white dress (also white panties, stockings and suspenders, and a pair of platform shoes to complete the look). There's one point I don't like, though: the hot pink lipstick she has on (which matches her fingernails as a kind of fashion statement). I prefer a more natural look. In the first scene doctors Vouyer, Vitale and Ray bang nurse Chloe in some clinic.

I admire educational porn and try to stay open to the fact that it it will not meet the intensity and variety of other porn. But, I found myself rather dissappointed with this one. The DVD starts out being educational but that does not consume enough time to make it worth while. So, mini-orgy footage is shown to make it more worth your while. Educational part: The educational part is pieced together. There is a scene where Nina Hartley fingers Anna Malle's ass and of course let us know what we need to know about penetrating asses--"The anus never lies". The audio is not well balanced. If you set the volume so that you can hear what is being said you will wake the neighbors once Anna starts to moan. Although, it was nice seeing Anna wiggle around on fingers. All the typical Blake trademarks are here : Fast cutting, beautiful women who are heavily made up and costumized (though less excessively here than usual), and great cinematography and lighting. Indeed, after having been let down by EVERY shot- on-film feature, this was the first that was both properly developed (no extreme grain or bad color correction) and really well shot.
