Likes: Celeste and the Plot Dislikes: Video Quality is better than my VCD but still not upto par for what DVD should be. Reviews: Good sex with a plot! Now that's rare. I have Bedlam on VCD. It was great! Nikki Tyler & Celeste how hot is that. Well anyways I bought this DVD a long time ago. The video quality is better than my VCD which is to be expected. What makes this DVD special? The plot. The story is about an old bed telling the other younger beds about its life story. His stories are all about SEX! Each story is about who has done the nasty deed on him. Mostly great sex scenes. There is one funny editing glitch that was on my VCD which also appears on the DVD. In the scene with the prostitute and she comes out of the restroom.

Upon first viewing I was awe-struck by Tera Patrick, but was not hugely impressed by the rest of the DVD. The reason being that I zoomed in on the imperfections of the women. However, with repeated viewing I started to realize just how good this DVD is. The girls are all natural, in good shape, and are eager to be pleased. You get the feeling that they are really enjoying the sex.

Combining a porno and super heroes sounded like a lot of fun. Its a Vivid release, so I dont expect too much. Initial Reaction: Its a lot of fun and my favorite of the Brat movies so far, but I wonder what happened to the rest of the cast. Audio /Video Quality: Both are pretty good for the age of the movie. The audio has a little dubbing and there are a couple spots that are kind of hard to hear, but its better than I expected. The video is slightly grainy and has a few cloudy spots. Its a little better than the other Brat movies and pretty respectable for the age of the movie when one considers what the original was probably like. Music: The music is a lot of fun and helps out the movie a lot.

The audio has some dubbing but most of the dialogue is pretty clear. The video has some grain and suffers some from poor lighting in areas. On the plus side, its probably a little more realistic lighting in some of these scenes. Unfortunately, it isnt that way for all of them. Music: I think theres only two songs through the entire movie. Theyre normally well balanced but get really annoying.

Its a kind of fuzz throughout the entire movie. The video is what Id consider good VHS quality. Its slightly grainy and it isnt helped by the bad lighting in most of the movie. Theres also a lot of pixelation flashes towards the end of the movie. Music: To call it cheesy would be a compliment. It ranges from well balanced to extremely overpowering. Review: Inferno tries to get by on the charm of leading lady Teri Weigel, which seems kind of strange as this is her first movie. Teri had a huge following, and she shows a lot of talent in Inferno .

Review brief: This is an example of a movie being more than the sum of its parts. Or in this case, less than the sum of its parts. The individual elements wouldn't make a bad flick, but mix them together and you've got salmon flavored ice-cream. I like salmon, and I like ice-cream. But I don't like salmon flavored ice-cream. Once a week my girlfriend and I cuddle up and watch some porn together. The problem we had with this flick was that the plot was somewhat interesting and the sex was good, BUT the plot was not sexual or erotic. The plot was downright depressing. Long dialogs describing crippled firemen and crippled relationships interspursed with great sex. We'd get going with the flow of the sex only to be brought to a screeching halt by some depressing monologue. And there seemed to be a lot of them. And I didn't understand the use of the monologues. The point of most of them could have been expressed much better visually with a "flash back" approach.

Review brief: Frankly, I don't know what film the rest of these reviewers watched. I don't watch porns for the sound, or the plot, or the special effects. I watch them to get aroused... and that's where this film is lacking. Sure, the women are quite attactive, but I can see naked attractive women on late night Cinemax. In short, we we're most looking for in this film is what it lacks... torrid, unabashed, uninterrupted sex. Most of the sex is very cold, artsy, and staged (rather than "hot" and spontaneous) with far too many special effects, cuts, and other BS mixed in. And, there's too much masturbation and lesbian sex... not enough of the good stuff (male-female). Moreover, to top it off, the main gal (Sasha) doesn't do anything other than get herself off (I don't buy that it's her in the very, very brief tiger sex scene). While other reviewers might use terms like Stylish, Incredible, Different, Artist, "a visual feast", etc., I'd be most likely to use the terms Boring, Unending, Repetitive, and so forth.

Despite his attempt at making a somewhat intriguing plot, the real focus here is on the action. In particular, he has assembled a cast of virtually unknown, and cover-girl quality women doing nasty things that girls of their caliber shouldn't do (but to our satisfaction). The movie is shot in Puerto Vallerta, and it's absolutely a breezy and tropical backdrop to this movie. There were three women, particulary Judith Fox, that stood out in this movie. Like many of the other actresses, Judith is a bombshell beauty of Hungarian descent, and she has a great scene on a pool overlooking the ocean. She shows great enthusiasm and flexibility throughout her scene. If you love natural, beautiful, yet nasty girls, this is the movie for you.

Ive got high expectations. Initial Reaction: Wow. Its beautiful, artistic, and very erotic. Audio /Video Quality: The picture is so clear that I wasnt sure if it was even shot on film. To my knowledge, Blake always shoots on film, so this DVD shows that porn shot on film doesnt have to look grainy. There are almost no sex sounds in the audio. There is a voice over in some parts of the movie which is very clear. Music: The music varies from the Ave Maria to techno. It fits the scenes and, like everything else, is very well done. Review: As with most of Andrew Blakes films, there isnt much plot. Even saying that much might be stretching the amount of plot in Pin-Ups 2 . Instead theres more of a general theme.

Considering the horrible lighting for almost the entire movie Im surprised that the picture isnt worse than what it is. The audio isnt too bad as you can hear everything pretty well. Theres a little bit of dubbing, but the most annoying thing is that you can hear the noises from the surroundings as good or better than the sounds you want to hear. Review brief: There is no question in my mind that Jenna Jameson epitomizes the prototypical porn babe: blonde, flashy, curvy and with a eye-popping, healthy chest courtesy of Dow Corning, it's easy to see why she has become America's hardcore sweetheart. However, I will admit that with the exception of her earliest appearances in Old Man Randy West's UP AND CUMMER series (in particular the previously reviewed UP AND CUMMERS #11, where she is, in the words of Robert Palmer, "simply irresistable"), I have not exactly been a member of her fan following. To me, she just doesn't have the appeal of a Ginger Lynn, Nikki Dial, or even Ashlyn Gere, to name a few undisputed legends of porn. And her 1995 starring role in THE WICKED ONE does nothing to change my mind. Beginning with an opening scream and scrawled warning, "Don't fuck with Jenna" on the DVD's menu, this release from Wicked is a fairly good porn package, and co-stars some overlooked favorites like Tiffany Million and Channone, as well as present-day superstars like Jill Kelly.

Audio /Video Quality: I dont think anything has been done since the original VHS release as the video quality is VHS quality at best. The audio synchs pretty well but a lot of the dialogue is kind of hard to understand. Music: The music is your typical porno music. Its way too loud for many of the scenes. Disc Problems: Once again, Sin City has no time code on the movie. Sin City also seems to think that its a good idea to have mandatory phone sex ads and a mandatory commercial for their web site before the main menu. Review: Wow. My 100th review. I have to admit that I never really thought Id get this far.

Review brief: There was an excellent film called "Bad Wives" directed by Paul Thomas for Vivid, and featuring the incredibly beautiful Dyanna Lauren and Melissa Hill. Unfortunately, that movie is not available on DVD. The DVD that Vivid is marketing under the name of "Bad Wives" has been cut to ribbons. It should really be called "Outtakes from Bad Wives." Comparing the VHS version with the DVD, I counted over 20 separate cuts, some of them lengthy. We're not talking just cutting out dialogue; sex scenes have been cut up, too, including some of the best parts. The best scene is between Jon Dough and Dyanna Lauren, taking place on a stairway. Large chunks of it have been excised. Even the final three-way between Steven St. Croix, Melissa Hill, and Dyanna Lauren, which should have been sacrosanct if no other scene was, had cuts in it. As presented in the DVD, the plot makes no sense whatsoever, whereas in the video version, the film has at least an adequate plot. I now know why other highly praised Vivid films I have seen only on DVD, such as "Bobby Sox" and "Beautiful", were choppy and made no plot sensel.

Review: Inferno tries to get by on the charm of leading lady Teri Weigel, which seems kind of strange as this is her first movie. Teri had a huge following, and she shows a lot of talent in Inferno .

Review brief: This is an example of a movie being more than the sum of its parts. Or in this case, less than the sum of its parts. The individual elements wouldn't make a bad flick, but mix them together and you've got salmon flavored ice-cream. I like salmon, and I like ice-cream. But I don't like salmon flavored ice-cream. Once a week my girlfriend and I cuddle up and watch some porn together. The problem we had with this flick was that the plot was somewhat interesting and the sex was good, BUT the plot was not sexual or erotic. The plot was downright depressing. Long dialogs describing crippled firemen and crippled relationships interspursed with great sex. We'd get going with the flow of the sex only to be brought to a screeching halt by some depressing monologue. And there seemed to be a lot of them. And I didn't understand the use of the monologues. The point of most of them could have been expressed much better visually with a "flash back" approach.

Review brief: Frankly, I don't know what film the rest of these reviewers watched. I don't watch porns for the sound, or the plot, or the special effects. I watch them to get aroused... and that's where this film is lacking. Sure, the women are quite attactive, but I can see naked attractive women on late night Cinemax. In short, we we're most looking for in this film is what it lacks... torrid, unabashed, uninterrupted sex. Most of the sex is very cold, artsy, and staged (rather than "hot" and spontaneous) with far too many special effects, cuts, and other BS mixed in. And, there's too much masturbation and lesbian sex... not enough of the good stuff (male-female). Moreover, to top it off, the main gal (Sasha) doesn't do anything other than get herself off (I don't buy that it's her in the very, very brief tiger sex scene). While other reviewers might use terms like Stylish, Incredible, Different, Artist, "a visual feast", etc., I'd be most likely to use the terms Boring, Unending, Repetitive, and so forth.

Review brief: "Madness" -Director: Pierre Woodman -Format: DVD -Production year: April, 2000 -Length: Little over 2 hours -Cast: Melody Kord, Judith Fox, Agnes, Paola, other gorgeous women My Take: Love him or hate him, Pierre Woodman shoots beautiful people in beautiful places having sex. Despite his attempt at making a somewhat intriguing plot, the real focus here is on the action. In particular, he has assembled a cast of virtually unknown, and cover-girl quality women doing nasty things that girls of their caliber shouldn't do (but to our satisfaction). The movie is shot in Puerto Vallerta, and it's absolutely a breezy and tropical backdrop to this movie. There were three women, particulary Judith Fox, that stood out in this movie. Like many of the other actresses, Judith is a bombshell beauty of Hungarian descent, and she has a great scene on a pool overlooking the ocean. She shows great enthusiasm and flexibility throughout her scene. If you love natural, beautiful, yet nasty girls, this is the movie for you.

To my knowledge, Blake always shoots on film, so this DVD shows that porn shot on film doesnt have to look grainy. There are almost no sex sounds in the audio. There is a voice over in some parts of the movie which is very clear. Music: The music varies from the Ave Maria to techno. It fits the scenes and, like everything else, is very well done. Review: As with most of Andrew Blakes films, there isnt much plot. Even saying that much might be stretching the amount of plot in Pin-Ups 2 . Instead theres more of a general theme.

Review brief: There is no question in my mind that Jenna Jameson epitomizes the prototypical porn babe: blonde, flashy, curvy and with a eye-popping, healthy chest courtesy of Dow Corning, it's easy to see why she has become America's hardcore sweetheart. However, I will admit that with the exception of her earliest appearances in Old Man Randy West's UP AND CUMMER series (in particular the previously reviewed UP AND CUMMERS #11, where she is, in the words of Robert Palmer, "simply irresistable"), I have not exactly been a member of her fan following. To me, she just doesn't have the appeal of a Ginger Lynn, Nikki Dial, or even Ashlyn Gere, to name a few undisputed legends of porn. And her 1995 starring role in THE WICKED ONE does nothing to change my mind. Beginning with an opening scream and scrawled warning, "Don't fuck with Jenna" on the DVD's menu, this release from Wicked is a fairly good porn package, and co-stars some overlooked favorites like Tiffany Million and Channone, as well as present-day superstars like Jill Kelly.

Audio /Video Quality: I dont think anything has been done since the original VHS release as the video quality is VHS quality at best. The audio synchs pretty well but a lot of the dialogue is kind of hard to understand. Music: The music is your typical porno music. Its way too loud for many of the scenes. Disc Problems: Once again, Sin City has no time code on the movie. Sin City also seems to think that its a good idea to have mandatory phone sex ads and a mandatory commercial for their web site before the main menu. Review: Wow. My 100th review. I have to admit that I never really thought Id get this far.

Review brief: There was an excellent film called "Bad Wives" directed by Paul Thomas for Vivid, and featuring the incredibly beautiful Dyanna Lauren and Melissa Hill. Unfortunately, that movie is not available on DVD. The DVD that Vivid is marketing under the name of "Bad Wives" has been cut to ribbons. It should really be called "Outtakes from Bad Wives." Comparing the VHS version with the DVD, I counted over 20 separate cuts, some of them lengthy. We're not talking just cutting out dialogue; sex scenes have been cut up, too, including some of the best parts. The best scene is between Jon Dough and Dyanna Lauren, taking place on a stairway. Large chunks of it have been excised. Even the final three-way between Steven St. Croix, Melissa Hill, and Dyanna Lauren, which should have been sacrosanct if no other scene was, had cuts in it. As presented in the DVD, the plot makes no sense whatsoever, whereas in the video version, the film has at least an adequate plot. I now know why other highly praised Vivid films I have seen only on DVD, such as "Bobby Sox" and "Beautiful", were choppy and made no plot sensel.
