Review brief: Make sure you have fresh batteries in your DVD remote when you sit down to watch Control #3. Youre going to be using the FF button quite a bit, unless you enjoy ridiculously long set-ups to the sex scenes. There is so much crap in this feature they had to spread it out over two discs. Review brief: Anal POV 7 could have been a terrific flick. Instead, thanks to some typical Euro shenanigans, its simply average. The problems? First, its not an entirely POV-shot flick. At some points, a third party holds the camera and captures different angles of the action. Not that thats such a bad thingI actually get tired of the same angle throughout a scene. But that clearly makes it a mislabeled title and it should not be called POV. In addition, when the guy is holding the camera, there is constant shaking and poor centering on the girl. It cant be easy (Id never try it!), but leave this type of difficult filming to the pros who know how to fuck and shoot at the same time. Next, the actors (who were not identifiedshame on you, Devils Film) never shut up. If theyre not sweet-talking the girls (in Broken English, no less), theyre giving instructions or, even worse, moaning like theyve never had sex before. As the commercial says, Men should act like men Lastly, theres a lot of A2P and gaping. The gaping simply ruins the cohesiveness of the scene. The A2P is just a personal turnoff.

But Britney Rears (aka Jessica Sweet) is a solid actress and shes surrounded by an able cast. You may actually take your finger off the FF button between sex scenes. There is scattered humor, and director Will Rider keeps the plot moving at a decent pace. Britney is sizzling in her three scenes, and the rest of the girls are smoldering at times, including Shy Love, Hillary Scott, and Jenaveve Jolie. Britney is the only one to take it up the pooper, but all of them get a face spray at the end of the sex. There are a couple three-on-ones and a two-on-one. In other words, something for everyone. I consider this one of the best of the sex comedies of this decade.

Review brief: To be completely honest up front, Ive never been a fan of Mr. Petes work as an actor. But I have to admit I actually semi-enjoyed his directing in Breakin in the New Chick #3. I mean, hes no Alex DeRenzy, but he is already miles ahead of guys whove been in the business for decades and still dont know how to film a decent sex scene. Did someone say Ed Powers name? Pete knows how to keep the action moving and utilizes nice sets, good lighting, and capable camera people. The action is interesting and he keeps the performers moving through their assigned positions every couple minutes, thus not boring us to tears. Review brief: Ass Pumpers suffers from what I call NDS, New Director Syndrome. Brett Maverick tries his hardest to ruin what could have been a decent flick by putting himself ahead of the talent. We do not watch porn to hear some kid repeating, Look at that! hundreds of times as he showcases (and fondles) the girls butts. Hey, Brett, weve seen butts before; show us some action. The talent tries hard to make up for the poor direction. But, in the end (so to speak), the lack of heat in the performers is evident and too difficult to overcome. Maverick insists on having the camera pointed in one position for way too long (usually at the dicks as they plunged into various orifices) and not showing the rest of the girls bodies or faces.

Review brief: Lady Lust #3 is an all-girl lezfest featuring some nice eye candy and plenty of pussy licking and exploration. The girls all appear to be Euros, and most range from attractive to gorgeous. Toys are utilized in most scenes. At a little over 2 hours, the DVD can get a little repetitive and boring. But taken in small doses (like one scene at a time) it can be a delight to voyeurs who wonder what really goes on behind the closed doors of horny girls. Theres good camerawork and nice sets throughout, and soft couples music accompanies most of the action. No single scene stands out from the others, as the action has a tendency to be formulated. Review brief: Flawless #3 should be renamed Very Flawed #3. The folks at Cal Vista/Metro really know how to screw up a compilation, and this is proof positive. Where to startokay, the box cover lists nine actresses, yet shouts out in bold letters 10 of the hottest girls in adult! I could overlook that error, but not the fact that six (count em) six of the girls dont appear on the disc. The one guy they list on the cast, Randy Spears, also does not appear in any of the eight scenes. In addition, most of the missing girls pictures appear on the box, which smacks of bait and switch to this non-lawyer. So, if you obtained this disc to see Tanya Roberts (the gorgeous cover girl), Sydnee Steele, Zora Bank (their spelling, not mine or yours), Violet Blue, Ann Marie, or Asia Carrera, you are flat out of luck. The box also proudly announces a sizzling Bonus Scene from the hot and sexy Xara Diaz. Of course, there is no bonus scene at all.

Review brief: Im So Young is an enticing title, and the cover girl (Karina Kay) is dressed like a parochial school girl. But a couple of the girls havent been called young in several years and the imagery is kind of ruined. Not that the sex isnt hard and driving and the girls arent capable performers. They just arent in that young category any more. And although none of them are ugly (a few could shave a bit closer to lose the pussy stubble), a couple would be considered attractive at best. Two brunettes, Myah Monroe and Claire, double-team Benjamin Bratt in the opener. Theres some good action here, if one ignores Benjamins bratty behavior. For one thing, he never shuts up, spewing insults and instructions throughout. The abuse continues with slapping, choking, gaping, A2M, anal action, and facials for both girls. Review brief: Catherine is a very high-budget Pure Play feature from director Michael Ninn. Combine high budget with Michael Ninn and you know what youll get - a ton of special affects, MTV-style editing, and very weird, surreal sex. You get five sex scenes in 120 minutes here, which means there is a ton of filler between the sucking and fucking. And most of it, to be honest, is hard to follow. The storyline/plot is overshadowed by the special effects, with lots of black and white cuts, slo-mo, heavily made-up girls, constant editing cuts, etc. I dont enjoy this type of flick. So Ill perform my duties as a reviewer by saying the stars are Audrey Hollander (who wears clown-like white makeup on her face), Valentina Velasquez, Nikki Blond (lesbian scene only), Adrianna Rouso (lesbian only), and Victoria Swinger. The usual Euro studs fill out the cast. Audrey does anal, A2M, DP, licks some pussy, and takes a couple facials. Valentina gets anal action, A2M, and a facial. Victoria gets a face blast. Review brief: Teen Factor is another throw-away from Damaged Productions in Europe. Why do they even bother packaging this trash? Maybe it sells over there, but I doubt it will ever catch on in the U.S., where viewers tend to be very selective and expect a good product for their dollars. Where to startokay, only one of the six girls is even remotely close to being a teenager. The star (and I use that term loosely) is Bibian Norai, a blonde who might be old enough to have teens of her own. I cant tell you which girl is the youngest because, like most of Damageds products, there is no (zero, nada) attempt at identifying the performers. No director is credited, although I cant blame the person responsible for this mess for seeking anonymity. As usual with cheap Euro junk (as opposed to the classy films of companies like Private), the voice-overs are in pretty good English, but the dubbing of the performers voices reminds one of a typical conversation at Ellis Island. To their credit, the girls (whoever they are) avoid perpetually staring at the camera, another Euro tradition I hate.

Review brief: Eternity is one of the more ambitious porn flicks you may ever see. Wicked spared very little expense in making this epic period piece. This flick is definitely couples material, assuming the couple has 2 ½ hours to kill. Personally, Ive never seen porn with this much storyline, so many cast members (tons of extras), tremendous costumes (most of it is set in Victorian times), a dancing horse (no kidding), a pistol duel, a sword fight, and the torching of a house. Stormy Daniels is the star, and she opens the story on her wedding day. As she makes the final adjustments on her gown, her mother, Veronica Hart, gives her a locket and starts telling the tale of the generations-old necklace and what it symbolizes. Back we go in time towell, Im not going to give you all the plotlines. Suffice to say Stormy plays her great-grandmother (a peasant) during the flashback. Randy Spears is the evil land baron shes forced to marry. I have no doubt Spears could have made it as an actor in legitimate Hollywood films had he not chosen the jizz biz. The entire cast is attractive.

She also does the voice-over for the story, which basically relates her tale of one womans search for Mr. Right. The sex is subdued, shot in nice locations, accompanied by soft music. Condoms are used in every girl/boy scene. There is the token girl/girl encounter (Kaylani and Lezley Zen in a bar restroom), which involves a lot of licking and finger insertion, but no toys. The cast is attractive, with Charmane Star and Kirsten Price as other girls looking for love in all the wrong places. Other than the voice-over, the only spoken dialogue is brief, and its between Kaylani and Steven near the end of the 88-minute flick.

Review brief: 18 Year Old Pussy #8 is the latest of a pretty decent series from Devils Films, and it ranks up there with some of its very good predecessors. If one can overlook that the uncredited director chose the typical Euro way of making porn annoying (fake moaning, too much P2M, men not ided, long scenes), this is enjoyable smut featuring some very respectable looking women. Review brief: Brandy Alexander had a great ass. So did Angela Summers and Kym Wilde. If you ever had a doubt, just check out Buttmans Bend Over Babes #2. Buttman (aka John Stagliano) spends at least half of the two hours pointing his camera at these and other behinds. Some might say thats about 30 minutes too much, since Stagliano almost entirely neglects the other aspects of the sex going on while he stands behind the babes. Review brief: With a few minor edits, Barely Legal Innocence #1 could be an X-rated flick fit for hotel rooms instead of a XXX-rated flick for strokers. Call this Porn Lite! In typical Clive McLean style, the cameraman remains about 25 from the sex action, thereby giving us great shots of the surrounding scenery, but not much in the way of close-ups. My major complaint with McLean throughout his illustrious career is that he seems to be so proud of the sets he utilizes that he insists on showing us these panoramic shots instead of in-your-face close-ups. As for the sex, cute blonde Keri Sable starts things off with Nick Manning, who finally looks decent with his new, shorter haircut. This is a great scene, full of heat and enthusiasm. Keri never looked so good. She rides Nick (both CG and RC) like shes on a Disneyland thrill ride and takes a good facial. Very strong opener! Unfortunately, it goes downhill from there. Destine Deville and Roxy Heart double-team Kurt Lockwood next and both seem to counting dollar signs in their heads instead of getting into the fucking.

Review brief: Undertow is a better than average porn flick. It features something rare indeed for the jizz biz good acting and a decent plot. Unfortunately, the cast doesnt put as much work into the sex as they do into their dialogue. Steven St. Croix, arguably the best actor in the industry today, is host of an underground TV show titles Thrill Kill Zone. The show deals with street racers. Because of his involvement in that sport, he is recruited by Dale DaBone to be an informant for the FBI as the agency tries to get the goods on Irish terrorist Evan Stone, who is also involved in the illegal races. This may be the first porn movie in history to include not one, but two, sword fights on a beach. No, not those kind of swords; real Japanese fighting swords. Theres pretty good editing as Evan and Steven battle on the sand and look convincing while doing it. But we watch porn for sex, and there just isnt enough heat among the performers to make it very interesting.

Review brief: Its not often a porno puts me to sleep. Silvias Spell #1 set a new record by doing it twice in the same afternoon. This period piece in set in (where else?) Europe, and it features beautiful Silvia Saint and a bevy of other beauties. But despite every girl getting drilled in the ass and taking a facial, the soft lighting and Muzak background in each scene kept me from staying alert. Slow is not the word for the pacing and the action; glacier-like best describes it. The plot is set during the Renaissance period, and all the costumes seem accurate. Problem: most of the girls dont remove their clothes during the sex. So heres a cute blonde getting drilled and her petticoat and corset hide most of her body. All that shows is her breasts. What, they didnt have hips and butts to admire in those days? Forget the plot. Its told in voiceover and its stupid (something about a royal family and an evil witch). In fact, there is very little actual dialogue spoken by the actors (usually a plus in my book).

Cute blondes Sandy Saint and Elen Saint and lovely brunette Jessica May are among a group of models sent to the Caribbean island for a photo shoot. The girls, being horny little Euros, cannot withstand the temptation to suck and fuck every guy on the island, usually in public places. Sex happens in a swimming pool, on the beach, on a boat, and near a waterfall. Ive never met Skeeter, but he seems like a nice-enough guy from the interviews he conducts with each girl before her scene. But the pirate scarf on the head fashion statement he adheres to makes him look like a 13-year old boy preparing for Halloween. And his film-making could be considered juvenile also. For example, at some point in every scene he makes the girls lie on their stomachs, reach back with both hands, and grab their high heels, all the while sucking dick. Looks stupid! In addition, Skeeter favors the latex and leather fetish look for all the girls, something that gets old after about two scenes. Skeeter can also be heard making comments throughout the action. Did someone ask for a play-by-play? Not me. As for the girls, brunette Shy Love, redhead Pason, and brown-haired Euro-Oriental Katsumi are especially lovely. Skeeters wife, Bridgette Kerkove, Gia Paloma, and Nicoletta are above average. Theres anal action in every scene, A2M in most, and open-mouth facials in all.

Review brief: Casting Couch #5 is another good reason to avoid most Euro porn. This compilation from Hustler basically wastes some pretty decent looking talent with uninspired sex and terrible editing. Each scene is preceded by a boring interview with the girl, with both the interviewer (probably Pierre Woodman) and the girl having typical trouble with the English language. Thats followed by a short striptease and posing session. Yawn! The first scene is from Exxxotica #2, and features brunette Drimla (who was interviewed) and Sophie Paris (who was not interviewed). Who knows who the guy was, since there was the customary lack of credits. The threesome romps on a beach complete with salt, sand, and breaking waves. Stupid! Review brief: Beyond Desire is a typical couples film from the 1980s (1983 to be specific) in that the feature relies heavily on dialogue and plot and only offers short snippets of sex (4-5 minutes each). There is bad acting throughout, with the notable exception of John Leslie, who plays a private investigator staying in a whorehouse (dont ask why; its too stupid to explain) and doing just about all the hookers in the place. There are some huge names in this feature, including Gina Carrera, Nina Hartley, Seka, and Vanessa del Rio, who, unfortunately, gets only one short sex scene towards the end of the 83 minutes. Nina is almost unrecognizable in a black wig. Little Oral Annie makes a brief appearance sucking off a couple guys. Kristara Barrington graces the first scene and takes a nice facial one of only three in the nine-scene flick. Patti Petit has the only anal action. The DVD offers the following extras: Photo Gallery, Other Titles, Cast, Contact and Website info, and a Language (English and Spanish only) Option.

Review brief: All the things I loath about Euro porn (Private, specifically) are on display in the Best of Private's "Cum Suckers. This compilation DVD claims to include 50 girls displayed over more than two hours. That may well be, but I lost track after about 20 scenes. As usual with the Euros, they do not identify the performers. Which is a shame, because many of the girls are downright beautiful. The least attractive girls would have to be considered good looking. I would like to obtain some of the original features based on what I saw here. But, alas, Ill never figure out who these girls are, nor the original features the scenes were clipped from. Note: a cast list is included in the DVD extras, but it is impossible to follow after the first four scenes.
