Dinner Party 3: Cocktales Review

The “Dirty Debutantes” series is on one extreme end of the porn spectrum. Amateurish production values, unattractive girls (for the most part), no script, and a middle-aged, unattractive male for the “star.”

On the other end of said spectrum is “Dinner Party #3,” a Nicholas Steele offering from Ultimate. This is a stylish “couples” feature; kind of Michael Ninn meets Andrew Blake. There are plenty of special affects, strange sets, soft lighting, elevator music, beautiful women and, unfortunately, the ever-present vanilla sex.

Carmen Luvana is the hostess of this dinner party, whose guests sit around the table talking about their most intimate sexual adventures and fantasies. I know that’s the key topic at every dinner party I attend. Man, I have to get a new circle of friends.

The female guests include Lola (who gets fucked by Evan Stone in bad light); Kimberly Kane (Steven St Croix, in a poorly lit outdoor scene); Teri Summers (Dale DaBone); Dominica Leoni, as a vampire (watch those incisors!) (Randy Spears); Lauren Phoenix (Cheyne Collins); Dee and Lana Moore (Mickey G., who also gets a dildo up his ass); Isabella Camille and Lonnie (in a very weird, special affects-driven lezout); and Summer Sweet (Joey Ray). The hostess engages head chef Billy Glyde in the opening scene.

There is no anal action here, and the final scene is an orgy with just about the entire cast screwing each other. There are four facials (Lola, Dominica, Lauren, and Dee) before the orgy, which had too much action to keep track.

To show how much of a “couples” film this is, 16 minutes pass from the opening credits to the first sex action. Mrs. Groove loved it; I nearly fell asleep. ‘Nuf said!

The DVD offers Previews, Picture Gallery, the “Making of,” Web Access as extras, as well as two Bonus Scenes. The first Bonus Scene features Christie Lee and Steve Drake; the second offers Christie Lee, August Night and Cheyne Collins. It’s actually the hottest scene on the DVD.
