“Undertow” is a better than average porn flick. It features something rare indeed for the jizz biz – good acting and a decent plot. Unfortunately, the cast doesn’t put as much work into the sex as they do into their dialogue.

Steven St. Croix, arguably the best actor in the industry today, is host of an underground TV show titles “Thrill Kill Zone.” The show deals with street racers. Because of his involvement in that sport, he is recruited by Dale DaBone to be an informant for the FBI as the agency tries to get the goods on Irish terrorist Evan Stone, who is also involved in the illegal races.

This may be the first porn movie in history to include not one, but two, sword fights on a beach. No, not those kind of swords; real Japanese fighting swords. There’s pretty good editing as Evan and Steven battle on the sand and look convincing while doing it.

But we watch porn for sex, and there just isn’t enough heat among the performers to make it very interesting. The camera seems in love with everyone’s crotches with few full body shots during the action.

Shay Sweet does a lezout with Tory Lane to open the proceedings, then jumps Billy Glyde’s bones. Shay used to be the cutest girl in the business, but the years (and numerous tattoos) have eroded much of her good looks. And I haven’t seen her take a facial in many moons.

Still cute and perky, Aurora Snow takes on Evan next. She takes it up the ass, does some A2M, and finally accepts his guy goo on her sweet mug.

Blond Hannah Harper engages Dale and provides one of the highlights of the flick – her outstanding blowjob. She sucks cock with the best. She doesn’t even mind sucking it after it comes out of her butt. Dale delivers the goods to Hannah’s smiling face to end a decent scene.

Shayna Knight gets double-teamed by Anthony Hardwood and John West next. The guys provide what might be considered the hardest pounding of the movie to Shayna, including anal, DP, A2M, and a couple facial frostings.

Finally, Aurora is back to do Steven in a backyard scene. Again, the sex is almost slow-motion, with very slow stroking. This could never be defined as a “banging.” She takes a facial to end things.
