Review brief: The Little Details NOTE: This title was originally released with a title of Nasty Cracks. Running Time: 50 min. Production Date: 1993 Director: Roy Sparrow Cast: Lilli X-Ene, Fantasia (better known as Brooke Ashley), Dominique Simone, Alicia Rio, Crystal Wilder, Desi DeAngelo, Tanya Storm, Angella Faith, and Jonathan Morgan The Short Story Initial Expectations: I havent seen any of Metros fetish features, so Im going in with an open mind. Initial Reaction: Its cheesy but amusing. Who Should Watch It : Anybody who wants some cheesy fun spanking action Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants a serious spanking movie The Technical Stuff Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects take away any doubt you might have that the movie was made recently. The audio has a hiss in the background like there was a strong wind blowing during the movie and plenty of background noises. The movie sounds about like a 1930s movie that hadnt went through any restoration. The video is much the same.

Initial Reaction: Skip it. Who Should Watch It : Extreme fans of Nici Sterling Who Should Avoid It: Anybody looking for the typically well done Wicked movie The Technical Stuff Audio /Video Quality: The audio is clear and well balanced. The video, however, lacks a little. Its fairly clear, but the entire movie is a bit dark. Some areas are darker than others, and even make it next to impossible to tell whats going on. Theres a little grain to the picture, but its even and doesnt seem that bad for how old the feature is. Music: The music is pretty typical porno music, and is nicely balanced with the rest of the audio.

Initial Reaction: It didnt come close to fulfilling my appetite. Who Should Watch It : Anybody who wants an emphasis on food rather than sex Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting a lot of sex Audio /Video Quality: For the first half of the first scene, the music is the only audio. After that, you can hear the performers clearly. There arent many background noises or anything else that interferes with the audio badly, although there are a few areas where there is a bit of a hiss in the background. The video is nicely lit, but theres some minor grain to it thats even throughout the movie and a few areas with some pixelation popping in and soft focus problems. Music: Theres only music in the first scene.

Im not really sure what to expect here. Initial Reaction: It almost put me to sleep. Who Should Watch It : Anybody looking for porn thats a step up from softcore Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting pop shots or porn that takes any kind of risks Audio /Video Quality: For the age of the feature, the technical aspects are pretty good. The audio is a bit hollow, but its well balanced and free of background noises. The video has a bit of grain and more than a few shadows, and looks fairly close to VHS quality. Although I normally have higher expectations than this for DVD movies, with the movie approaching twenty years old Im pretty happy with the presentation here. Music: The music has a soft and often fun feeling that seems pretty neutral.

Theres a few background noises here and there, but its balanced pretty well. The video is also pretty good. Theres a little bit of grain but its even throughout the feature and the action is nicely lit. Music: None Menus: The menus are fairly typical. The main menu has a little animation to give it a decent first impression and the chapter menu lets you choose a chapter based on a snall clip of each scene and a chapter number.

Initial Reaction: Its easily skipped Who Should Watch It : Extreme anime fans who want to see characters they know getting it on Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting the typical darker anime or who isnt familiar with anime Audio /Video Quality: The audio and video are both extremely clear. The animation is decent, and varies a little to fit the style of the cartoon its ripping off. Music: The music is sexy and nicely balanced with the rest of the audio. Menus: The menus are extremely simple. The main menu is unanimated and the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a still of each chapter. The Feature: Anime Fiction 1 collects scenes that take well known anime characters and put them together to have sex.

Some of it is nicely balanced, but Cheeks is behind the camera and talks frequently which comes off very muffled. Theres also plenty of wind and background noises. The video quality reminds me of a home movie with a drunk uncle behind the camera.

The audio is clear and well balanced. Theres no background noises and the only fault I could find was a soft hum in the background. The video is just as impressive. Theres barely any grain and the action is all very well lit. Theres a little camera shake, as it all appears to have been shot hand held, but the cameraman moves around just enough to let you see everything but not feel like you should take a Bonine.

The audio has a frequent whisper in the background, and if there are any background noises youre going to hear them. Surprisingly, however, the audio is balanced pretty well. The video is pretty close to VHS quality. It has a soft feel and a little pixelation, a fair amount of camera shake, and you frequently get to see Eds helpers and the camera. Surprisingly, the lighting is pretty good. Music: None Disc Complaints / Misleading Advertising: The cover for this DVD is horrible, and almost misleading.

Unfortunately, theres more than a few soft focus problems, a ton of jerky pans and zooms, and some obvious shadows from the cameraman that hold it back. The first scene has a bit of background noise that makes it sounds as if it was done in a subway restroom. The balance is okay, but nothing too great. The video is also okay. There arent many technical problems, but the angles normally leave much to be desired. Music: The music is very nicely balanced with the rest of the audio, and has a slightly techno feel to it. Complaints: Theres no time stamp for the feature, which is extremely annoying. Luckily theres three chapters, which means you can move around the feature a little.

Its often slightly out of balance and theres nothing edited out so you hear things like background noises and the cameraman asking the performers to do things like look at them before you see a flash of the still camera or give me some sort of facial reaction, which results in a stoned look. The video, however, is surprisingly good even when one doesnt consider how horribly done the audio is. Its normally well lit and doesnt show too much grain, but there are a few soft focus problems.

Initial Reaction: Its not as bad as Pacific Northwest Amateurs: Panty Peeks 1, but that isnt saying much. Who Should Watch It : Extreme fans of amateur action Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who likes real audio to go with their sex scenes. Audio /Video Quality: The audio basically sucks. No, its often clear, but its rare for the audio to be from the actual scenes in the movie. I know you never hear the girl in the solo scenes, and even the vibrator noises are obviously dubbed there. The one actual sex scene does have some audio that appears real, but parts of that also feel dubbed.

The audio is pretty well balanced, and there isnt much for background noises as long as the scene takes place indoors. When its outdoors, you might as well not even try to hear whats being said. Theres some pixelation in the video, but most of it only has some very slight grain. Theres also some very noticeable lighting inconsistencies, camera shake, and soft focus blurs. Music: None.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody looking for something softcore and who doesnt mind a little grain Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting actual wrestling or sex Audio /Video Quality: The only audio is the music, which is pretty consistent. The video has some bad pixelation and looks about like a second generation VHS copy. Its not lit too badly, but thats about the only good thing I can say about it. Ive often complained about the video quality in Pandoras releases, and when I look from where they are now compared to here, where they started, I can see that theyve made some good progress.

Initial Reaction: It almost put me to sleep. Who Should Watch It : Extreme fans of the stars and people who only want a little anal sex in scenes Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting a lot of anal sex or intense anal sex Audio /Video Quality: The audio is spotty. Frequently theres no sex sounds in the scene, and when there are the audio is fairly low. There are also a few times when you can hear the stars being given directions. The video is pretty clear, and has the same feel as a well done home video. Music: The music is at a comfortable level, but is frequently the only audio in the scene. Its also some of the most annoying bad porno music Ive heard in a long time.

Initial Reaction: The only things that should be happy with this one is the guys collecting the sucker checks from the people who bought it and the fast forward button on your remote. Who Should Watch It : Extreme (and I mean extreme) fans of the stars only Who Should Avoid It: Anybody whos expectations are above poor Audio /Video Quality: The audio is average at best. The balance changes throughout the scene, which is a little annoying, and some parts are horribly off balance. Theres also quite a bit of outdoor background noise, since all the scenes are set outdoors, as well as frequent comments from the director that never got edited out.

Theres also quite a bit of outdoor background noise, since all the scenes are set outdoors, as well as frequent comments from the director that never got edited out. The video has a soft feel to it, almost as if it was shot on film. Its also has frequent problems with shadows in many of the shots.
