Initial Expectations: The Brookland Brothers haven’t impressed me much so far, and I’m not expecting them to start here.

Initial Reaction: It’s not too bad.

Who Should Watch It : Amateur porn fans without much money

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants full sex scenes or decent technical aspects

Audio /Video Quality: The audio leaves much to be desired. It’s often slightly out of balance and there’s nothing edited out so you hear things like background noises and the cameraman asking the performers to do things like look at them before you see a flash of the still camera or ‘give me some sort of facial reaction’, which results in a stoned look. The video, however, is surprisingly good even when one doesn’t consider how horribly done the audio is. It’s normally well lit and doesn’t show too much grain, but there are a few soft focus problems.

Music: The music is pretty much the only audio in the feature, and is normally extremely slow and boring. I’ve heard more exciting music in planetariums!

Disc Problems / Complaints: There’s no time stamp! I frequently like to jump around in movies or go to specific places in the feature, but without a time stamp, which as I understand it takes next to no effort to include on a DVD, I can’t. The lack of a time stamp always makes a DVD feel a little half-assed to me. Of course, the feature is also twenty minutes shorter than advertised. This is more than just a little mixup, and is more than a little misleading. I’m docking the feature a half point overall because of this.

Menus: The main menu is a kind of glorified chapter menu. It lets you choose whether to watch a specific girl or all of them.

The Feature: Pacific Northwest Amateurs: Hardcore 1 collects full sex scene from the Brookland Brothers Casting Couch series. Each scene gets right down to the action without any kind of introduction for the stars or letting you know where the feature came from.

Maria starts things out with a guy who looks like he’s not sure whether he wants to be black or white. He pleasures her orally in several positions after she gives him a quick hummer and then lets her ride his cock. They keep going doggie and missionary before they finish up with a little oral and a facial. It’s an okay scene. Maria does a very good job, and even looks like she might have taken some of the pop in her mouth, but the guy looks like his biggest concern is how soon he can get back to Dr. Doobie.

CeeCee’s scene from Casting Couch 6 is next. She slowly sucks and tit-fucks her partner’s cock before riding it cowgirl style. She also lets him fuck her missionary style before he pops on her stomach and chest. It’s a lackluster scene that’s completely held back by the camera work. The only time penetration is shown is from behind, which doesn’t really show you anything else. The rest of the camera work is just as uninspired, and only made me want to hit the fast forward button.

Liza, a short and slightly chunky Oriental who looks like she might have recently had a baby, pulls a black guy and a white guy back to a table to take them on. They pass the oral favors around before the guys stay hard enough to try and fuck Liza. The black guy looks to flunk out in the middle of the scene, leaving the white guy to fuck her and then pop on her face after she sucks him a bit more. After Liza gets her facial, the black guy returns to fuck her ass in a couple positions. Finally, Liza gets an okay facial. This was a lackluster scene with okay chemistry between Liza and the black guy but poor action.

Georgina, a cute brunette with a great natural body, gets busy with a guy on the couch in the penultimate scene. After plenty of passionate kissing, Georgina breaks out her partner’s cock to stroke and suck. He returns the favor before fucking Georgina missionary and doggie style before popping on her back. It’s a fun scene with great chemistry. The guy has a bit of wood problems, but Georgina saves it with her smiles and comments like telling him to slow down. It’s a nice scene and has made Georgina my favorite girl out of what I’ve seen from the Brookland Brothers.

Finally, there’s Akane’s scene from Casting Couch 5 where she takes on a couple guys who are starting to think of Turtle Wax as a hair care product. They move around to nicely warm each other up orally before going through most of the positions. She finally sucks one guy off onto her face. The other had wood problems to the point that he finally just kneeled on the edge of the bed and watched, not even letting Akane touch him. It’s not much of a scene, mostly due to the guys not being able to maintain wood. Akane really gets into the scene, so I can only blame the guys and kinda chuckle about all the guys out there who think any guy can be a porn star.

Pacific Northwest Amateurs: Hardcore 1 is a decent amateur feature. Georgina easily steals the show, although Maria and Akane also do good jobs. Most of the problems here are due to the guys, who can’t seem to get decent wood, and the camera work, which is more amateurish than the performances. If you’re short on cash and like amateur porn, Pacific Northwest Amateurs: Hardcore 1 might do, but others might want to avoid it.

Overall: Currently, the Brookland Brothers movies can be found online for $10. This isn’t too bad if you haven’t seen any of the other Brookland Brothers movies. The sex is mostly below average, but there are a couple decent scenes. Unfortunately, the technical aspects lack and there’s no extras worth mentioning.

Note to Brookland Brothers: Your movies would be much better if you’d lose the music, add a time code, and learn how to edit yourselves out of your movies.
