I wish the story had been better and the sex scenes had fit into the film better, however, Arsenic - Part 1 isn't a bad film, it's more of an average adult film. Viewers who don't care about a story, but also don't mind the presence of one, and sex featuring a lot of anal, will have the best chance at enjoying this film. Viewers who hate the presence of a plot or like tame sex will want to pass on this title. If you want to follow the plot, you'll want to rent or pick up Arsenic - Part 2 at the same time so you can follow the complete story. Plot: While archeologists William and Elizabeth Reuter are busy working in the forbidden ruins of Abu-Sir they discover a map of the pyramid that reveals a hidden treasure. The map leads them to an ancient sarcophagus containing Amira, the Egyptian Goddess of Love (Tania Russof), who has been asleep for 4,000 years. Review: Private , since the last year, is doing a good thing to increment their sellings: every month they release a DVD Pack of a trilogy of films with a sampler, or a pack with 4 or 6 films with common things. This one,The Pyramid Trilogy , which packs in three parts the whole thing, was one of the earliest. But even knowing that these films are quite "old" (from 1996, in DVD from 2001), I decided to buy it. The results are not bad at all. The Pyramid 1 I think the beginning of the Private "big era" started with this film, a huge super production filmed in Egypt, with some problems which you probably know. As far as adult films go, The Pyramid trilogy is a good set combining high production values, hot sex and a decent story. The only problem that I have with the trilogy is the ending is a complete let down. If you like plot driven adult entertainment, this is the way to pick up the trilogy as it gives you all three films, plus a sampler disc, for one lower price. Viewers that don't like a plot or don't want to see some country side scenery will want to pass on this title. For all others, this trilogy is highly recommended. [read the full review]

Overall: The move to Hustler has prompted a change in format for Woodman's Superfuckers. The introduction by the hostess is still left intact, but in between some of the scenes are photo shoots from the Barely Legal and XXX magazines. At least in this volume, the photo shoots were actually interesting to watch and the behind the scenes antics are very similar to what you would see in Rocco Siffredi DVDs. General Impression I've seen my share of Pierre Woodman's movies, and this is not one of his best, mostly because the women are not very good looking: don't get me wrong, they have great bodies (except the pale Oxana) and they are young, but you can read on their faces that they are cheap whores the moment you see them, they lack in freshness and innocent beauty, and those are the things that excite me the most (apart from seeing a young woman fucked silly by a bunch of guys). Also the camerawork is poorer and less fluid than the usual Woodman stuff, and there are sudden cuts that are very distracting (but that's a problem on almost every release of the Anal Intensive series). I'm not saying that this is disc is all bad in itself, but Woodman has done definitely better. There are five scenes in total here:1 is very good, 2 are so so, 2 are wasted space on the disc.
