With a hefty run time of 3 hours or so, Superfuckers always appears like good value for money. But beware, appearances can be deceptive. Though he occasionally treats us with memorable moments, all too often director Pierre Woodman seems to pad out the volumes of this series with less interesting material. Consequently, the quality is extremely variable.

This edition is introduced by elegant, dark-haired beauty Yasmine (a Hustler centrefold earlier this year), who Woodman has worked with on other occasions, but her intros are overdubbed with the profoundly irritating narration that Private erroneously seems to consider an enhancement. Do they think the viewers are stupid? Do they think viewers need to be told what is exciting? You may not wish to answer these questions!

Noemie
Rant over; let's get into the first scene - a very brief solo number with the very pretty blonde Noemie (not the same Noemie who appeared in Superfuckers 5). This Noemie's hairstyle is slightly dodgy, I don't like her tongue stud, but her sparkling eyes attract all the attention. That is, at least, until she shows off her tight little body and perky tits. Nice. Exaggerated moans accompany her masturbation session. Is that it? Looks like it…

Denisa
Yet more bullshit narration accompanies the intro to this scene - apparently gorgeous blonde (it's a wig!) What actually happens is that she sucks either James Brossman's or his mate's dicks, while the other guy fucks her on the table. It's a bit awkward and goes on in each position way too long, or so it seems, such is the lack of energy and any "x-factor". Pah. At least Denisa is good to look at, though her lean form is a possibly just a little on the thin side for my taste, and I'd be happy to see her in something that does her more justice. Next!

Adrienne Klass
First seen is a fiery, fascinating casting session in Superfuckers 3, Adrienne is back to show off her development as a performer. Here she poses nude and shows a noticeable sparkle in her blue eyes before the scene lurches straight into the sex - she's already being fucked in spoons by David Perry, while sucking Sebastian's cock. Pascal is there also. So far, so good, it's energetic, dark-haired Adrienne looks cute and into it. However, as seems to be the way with scenes in this series, it gets into a bit of a rut. Sure it's hard, it's fast and quite exciting, but though I don't need anal sex to make a good scene, once it becomes quite obvious that Adrienne isn't going to do it here, there's nowhere else for the scene to go, after everyone has exhausted the combinations for straight sucking and fucking. It's a slightly obscure thing to relate, because as we'll see later, some essentially very similar scenes appealed to me a great deal more. That said, Adrienne does seem to enjoy taking the facial come shots that splatter her at the conclusion, and it's generally good, healthy fun.

Gabrielle
Wrongly billed in some parts as Gabriella Kerez (the gorgeous brunette, also called Susan in some movies), this is actually a blonde girl with a similarly sexy big ass who takes a submissive role in a relentlessly hard scene with four guys. I can't tell you what Gabrielle looks like (there is an unflattering still of Gabrielle in the cast information section, but is would be unfair to comment based on one picture), because oddly Woodman chooses to have the girl wearing the leather hood, not the men. What were you thinking about there, Pierre? Being deprived of the sight of Rodolph Antrim's mug would be no hardship - his colleagues here are Sebastian, Pascal and the youthful stud Titof, if you are interested.

Anyway, this is more varied than the preceding scene, though again it largely consists of people hammering away in numerous positions with not much in the way of emotional involvement. Well, I say that, but clearly Gabrielle can't help but be very involved, showing a remarkable ability to cope with the constant crude use of her mouth at the same time that her pussy, and eventually (it takes some time) her ass, is being relentlessly shafted by the guys. She is truly stuffed, face-fucked and screwed, lightly spanked for much of the action, and finally propped up in a pile driver so they can take turns at her ass. The come shots take way too long to arrive, with seemingly minutes of masturbating male footage, before Gabrielle takes their loads on her face and in her mouth, and gives the guys a good post-come suck. Ultimately, it all goes on a tad too long.

Erika Fire
An extraordinary-looking redhead, petite, pretty and pert Erika does a little bit of posing in a spartan hotel room. It's not quite the usual Woodman casting session, though, as the interview is neglected and Woodman produces James Brossman for the lovely Erika to get her teeth into. Pierre must be sick of it, because all the girls love James, and Erika is no exception.

It would be easy for me to overstate the case, but as far as these scenes go, this is a must see in my book. The sex is absolutely delightful, and you can see right into Erika's sparkling clear blue eyes that she absolutely loves it. Oral and straight sex are delightful, and the chemistry between Erika and James is sheer poetry - so of course Woodman has to intrude on this special moment by putting the camera down, slapping on a condom (it's a safe scene) and whacking his dick up Erika's tight ass, ramming her in his usual crude fashion. The amazing thing is that as Woodman pulls her head back by her flaming locks, amid an unnecessary volley of "salope" and "putain", she is actually smiling! Unbelievable.

After a short spell of statically-shot DP, or so it seems, James energetically takes her alone to several anal orgasms - either real or so well-performed as to make no difference as far as the viewers' enjoyment is concerned - and leaves her panting, shattered, and totally delighted. Francesca
Slender redhead Francesca first crossed my path in Rocco's True Anal Stories 14, but she didn't quite make the same impression as she does here. So what do I know?

It's quite extraordinary, and Francesca is an extraordinary girl.

Overall
I have little else to add - other than to note that Yasmine models some very alluring outfits during her intros, and I look forward to viewing her own sex scenes later in the series. It's a shame that Woodman couldn't serve up a whole edition full of top rate scenes, but then would my old ticker be able to stand it. The shooting is generally good, the scenes are perhaps better lit than usual, and if it weren't for that damn inconsistency, Superfuckers 8 would be a must-buy. If you can get it cheaply, it still is a fine source of hardcore sex, though if you're looking for something more than just all-out fucking, you'd best look someplace else. Once again, Superfuckers disappoints and delights in almost equal measures.

DVD Comments
Extras are fairly scanty - a very small selection of still photos, cast and movie information, some trailers and that's it. There are comprehensive audio language and subtitle options - the sex scenes all have original sound, though, no dubbing thank you very much! There's also a DVD-Rom section with a DVD Catalogue, PC wallpaper pics and a screensaver. The sound and picture quality is good, but is it my imagination or have Private been using more compression on their DVDs of late? I actually noticed this a while back - it could just be a matter of perception, but they do seem to be encoded at a lower bit-rate.
