Review brief: After taking us out in the fresh air and sunshine in Manplay09, Number 10 takes us back into the confinement of the studio with its artificial light making it seem a regression and not an advancement over others in the series. The visible cameramen are seen again, too; and annoying flashbulbs pop from time to time. The guys though are hot, and thats what we look for in this unscripted continuous orgy. Think this is a historical French drama? No, these are the opening screen shots to Roccos Way to Love. This film is an ode to the Marquis de Sade, a murder mystery, and a rough sex film. Sounds ambitious? You bet it is, but the whole works better than the sum of its parts. There is a story line that runs throughout the film, concerning the choking death of Kelly Stafford. Did Rocco kill her, or his cousin Gabriel? Black and white interludes of these two being questioned by the Paris police, along with flashbacks of Kelly with Gabriel, are used in between the 5 major sex scenes. This film won the 2001 AVN award for best couples scene; thats why I decided to watch it.

Review brief: For some reason, much of this video, including several whole sex scenes, is laterally compressed, as though it were shot in widescreen and then compressed into the standard 1.33/1 television screen. Why? Did someone at Ultimate Pictures, Nicholas Steele perhaps, think this was cool looking? I found it extremely annoying. All the actors appear distorted; they look like some sort of bizarre stick people. When it is pointed straight out, as when he is receiving a blowjob, Mark Davis' dick looks like it is 3 inches long. What a mess! If you need to get up close and yet get more of the action onscreen, you use a wide-angle lens. Im not really sure what to expect here. Initial Reaction: Its far from perfect, but one of the best Ive seen from Candida Royalle. Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting something more on the erotic and almost softcore side of adult films Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting consistent sex scenes or to see pop shots in each scene. Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects arent too bad. The audio is clear and well balanced, and has few signs of background noises or any other problems. The video isnt quite as good. Theres some noticeable pixelation, which is just beyond looking slightly grainy. Theres also a few remnants that pop up now and then.

Review brief: An Evenings Entertainment Since my girlfriend, Jill, had such a grand time helping me to review American Nymphette 5, I thought I would enlist her assistance again in critiquing Simon Wolfs Dripping Wet Sex Vol. 6, which I thought she would like. As background, neither of us care for so-called couples tapes, which we both think are boring. Jill likes her videos strictly girl/girl and doesnt like gonzo (which I love). I had a hunch, though, that Jill would find the beautiful actresses, colorful settings, and fun behind-the-scenes footage captured in this episode enthralling and I was right. We both enjoyed this wonderful film together one evening after dinner. In anticipation of the event, I screened the movie ahead of time. Whereas past episodes of this series used one of the actresses as the hostess, this issue chose instead to dive right into the action -- which left the movie, in terms of its personality, feeling somewhat sterile. Fortunately, I found some entertaining actress bios in the discs extras.

Expectations Zero Tolerance, a relatively new studio, has been busting out some great titles. While not all of highest standards, I've been overall pleased with their camera work, settings and general appearance of talent. Though I'm not a big fan of the daddy/daughter theme, nor find it offence, I think the dialogue can be overlooked for those not interested when everything else falls into place with the right cast.

Review brief: Roccos Way to Love Written by Gabriel Zero, directed by Rocco Siffredi and Gabriel Zero Themes: Rough Sex, Gonzo, Anal Charenton 1814, a profile of a man from the 1700s, a photo of an old chateau, an antique book with the words Cet est mon Testament (this is my testament), the signature De Sade. Think this is a historical French drama? No, these are the opening screen shots to Roccos Way to Love. This film is an ode to the Marquis de Sade, a murder mystery, and a rough sex film. Sounds ambitious? You bet it is, but the whole works better than the sum of its parts. There is a story line that runs throughout the film, concerning the choking death of Kelly Stafford. Did Rocco kill her, or his cousin Gabriel? Black and white interludes of these two being questioned by the Paris police, along with flashbacks of Kelly with Gabriel, are used in between the 5 major sex scenes. This film won the 2001 AVN award for best couples scene; thats why I decided to watch it.

Review brief: For some reason, much of this video, including several whole sex scenes, is laterally compressed, as though it were shot in widescreen and then compressed into the standard 1.33/1 television screen. Why? Did someone at Ultimate Pictures, Nicholas Steele perhaps, think this was cool looking? I found it extremely annoying. All the actors appear distorted; they look like some sort of bizarre stick people. When it is pointed straight out, as when he is receiving a blowjob, Mark Davis' dick looks like it is 3 inches long. What a mess! If you need to get up close and yet get more of the action onscreen, you use a wide-angle lens. This is what John Stagliano, Tom Byron, Seymour Butts, and everyone else making gonzo porn in the last 15 years has been doing. The best thing about this DVD is the trailers. All the trailers play back-to-back without stopping, which is a good thing. I noticed that the trailer for what was ulimately marketed as "Fiesta" is labeled "Dinner Party 3" on this DVD.

It has a soft feel and the lighting is often played with to help with the mood of the scenes. The video definitely helps with the artistic feeling of the feature, and makes things very beautiful.

Review brief: Description All-sex vignettes. Hard sex with a gentle energy, and everybody having a good time. General Impression I liked Young & Wild 1, and this is another good one. The scenes begin with very attractive girls doing tease sequences with unobtrusive music. The music ends as the sex begins and the scene goes to all-natural sounds. The settings are good, and there's kissing, with a nice balance of full-body shots to close-ups. Some highlights for me in scenes two and six. Sex Lucy Lee models for photographer Patrixxx in a brief intro before they get right to it. This scene had a lot of early moaning from this vocal girl during the oral exchange, but pretty soon they are in a good hard mish, with her whole body bouncing, and she's gripping the padded table that she's on. A few long slow strokes and some tempo changes, and they are all warmed up for anal mish. This starts a little dry and slow, then gets to pounding.
