PREFACE:
This is a "Mike Lyons Quickie" review.  I will do "Quickies" when for one reason or another, I don't want to do a full review for a title.  Hopefully, in this way, my reviews will still remain fun for me, and informative for those who read them.  Comments or suggestions? Please email me.

INTRODUCTION:
James Avalon is a director who I haven't seen very much of, but what I have seen I've liked very much.  My favorite feature of his has been Red Vibe Diaries #3, where a combination of my kind of cast, and Avalon's kind of sexual sensibilities just proved to be the perfect alternative to today's over saturated gonzo market.  Avalon is just nasty enough to keep me interested, and he presents some simple and direct, yet sexually related stories that cater to my need for context.  Dirty Little Cheaters has a kick ass box cover featuring Katie Morgan.  Katie is a little blonde hottie that I've enjoyed in the past, but not seen for a while.  A James Avalon feature seems to be the perfect excuse to get re-acquainted with her.

The Action
The action is segmented.  This scene is broken up by two other scenes that happen in the middle of this one.  Blowjob, missionary...

SCENE 2: 
KATIE MORGAN & CELINE MAXIMA
The Action

The Gist
This is a very brief girl/girl scene.  Amy (Katie Morgan) is cheating on her husband with another girl in the office (Celine Maxima).  I'm not too much into girl girl scenes, but both girls look suitably sexy here.  All in all it's fairly uninteresting to me.

This is a continuation of scene one from above.  More dialogue happens as they talk about the next scene.  Missionary, standing doggy...

SCENE 3:
CELINE MAXIMA & RICHARD KRANIUM
The Action
Shot in the POV style--VERY COOL--Tease, rocket pocket vibrator, dog-collar, crawling, tease, cocksucking, missionary, cowgirl, reverse cowgirl, cocksucking, very weak facial.

The Gist
This is an extremely cool scene.  Like the scene that's framing the whole movie, this has a lot of very cool dialogue happening while Celine's beautiful body is shown off to the camera.  It's shot in the POV style because in the context of the story, Amy's (Katie Morgan's) boyfriend is videotaping Stephanie (Celine) as they have sex together.  The tease stuff is easily the best part of the scene, and between that and the "cheating" dialogue, I almost came just because of that.  The actual sex is a little too brief and fragmented for my tastes, but the tease footage easily made up for it.  Celine is beautiful and the scene, although brief and choppy, is pretty damn sexy in it's own narrative way.

SCENE 1C:

The Action
This is the conclusion of the framing scene.  Standing doggy, facial.

The Gist
Although this scene is broken up into three parts because of the interspersed scenes, this is actually pretty damn cool.  It's a sex scene with plot advancing dialogue at the same time!  Who'da'thunk it?!  Katie looks great as she talks with her sex partner in crime  about how she's cheated on him and her husband with another woman, and then relays the tale of how she happened upon a video tape that her husband shot proving that he's cheated on her.  It's all very cool, and surprisingly strokeable, especially with the naughty (yet frighteningly cheesy) dialogue that accompanies it.  The scene finally ends in a decent facial. 

SCENE 4: 
ALANA EVANS & RAFE
The Action
(CONDOM ALERT) Cocksucking, kissing, reverse cowgirl, cowgirl, dirty talk, doggy, facial.

The Gist
Wow.  This is another very cool scene!  Again, the plot is thickened even as the performers fuck each other.  Nikko sets up a small camera in his house, hoping to catch his wife in the act of cheating.  In line with his hopes, she indeed does bring a stud home to do just that.  Just after she starts sucking his cock, however, she discovers the camera.  She decides she's going to fuck this guy anyway, and Alana looks fucking fantastic, I must say.  As they progress through the positions, Alana works out how she's going to get her husband back.  She plots with her fuck toy to have his sister seduce Nikko and then to get the resulting fuck-fest on camera.  After this decision is made, he cums on Alana's face and the scene ends.  Again, I think this is very fucking cool--some pretty naughty dialogue really adds to the sex being displayed.  I picked this one up, hoping to get some sex with some context and this is just what the doctor ordered!

SCENE 5: 
BRITTNEY SKYE, HONEY, MANDY MALONE & NIKKO NIGHT
The Action

The Gist
Obviously, this little scene is exactly what Nikko's wife had in mind.  And he nicely fell for her trap.  Although not nearly as cool as scenes 2 and 4 above, there is a little more fucking, and a little less talking in this one.  Only two of the three girls actually have any sex here--one of whom is the pretty one, and the other being the better performer.  All in all some decent sex, and some nice tease, but ultimately a bit of a let down. 

SCENE 6: 
ALANA EVANS & NIKKO NIGHT
The Action

The Gist
Alana and Nikko finally square off in the battle of the videotapes.  Since this is porn, their cheating trysts are rewarded with a little tryst of their own.  This is a too-brief scene with a beautiful Alana and a what I've decided is a somewhat unsatisfactory male performer in Nikko.  After a fairly weak facial, they kiss and make up.

BECCA BRATT, MALORIE MARX & NIKKO NIGHT
The Action

The Gist
Nikko watches himself on a videotape of an encounter he had with two new hotties.  I guess he and Alana have come to an understanding.  This was a fairly average scene that was plagued with some bad camera work and editing.  It never really showed me what I wanted to see, even though the action itself seemed decent enough.  Both girls are very pretty, although I slightly preferred Becca.  This scene, like most of the others on this disc, I dare say, was edited in a very fragmented way--leaving little time for concentration on interaction and instead seemingly concentrating on making the most of poor footage.  In any case, it was an ok scene, but nothing special.  One nice little bonus is that Becca uses her hand to get Nikko off.. 

OVERALL:
This is one of those maddening releases that, while ultimately disappointing, featured some real flashes of excellence.  On the plus side, Katie and Celine look damn good, Alana looks FUCKIN' GREAT, and all three of them give some really nice sexual performances in some very cool dialogue intensive scenes.  On the negative side, I was decidedly unimpressed with the male talent in the movie--especially Nikko Night, who is the main man.  His performance was... barely adequate, and the girls he fucked really didn't react to him in any real way at all.  In addition, many will consider it a detriment that his cum shots are quite weak.  Another major disappointment was the fuzzy video quality, the camera work and the editing.  All three could have been MUCH better, and I imagine that in part, the editing at least had to do with the heavy dialogue and flawed raw footage of the sex scenes themselves.  I can't have it all I guess.  The box-cover hyped "true perspective multi-angle" feature is gawd-awful.  There's nothing "true perspective" about it, the second "angle" doesn't match the sound, and in most cases the video quality of the second angle is atrocious.  Given the choice, I would have much rather saved those DVD bits for a higher quality first angle, thank you very much.  In any case, I loved Avalon's marriage of story with sex when it was done well--namely in Alana's first scene, and in Celine's scene with Rafe (the best scenes in the movie in my opinion), but the movie fell flat in the second half where it just turned into a stale feature with some cobbled together sexual positions.  In all it's definitely worth a rental, but to recommend a purchase is giving it too much credit.
