Farmer's Daughters (Impulse) review summaries:
Flash's
Farmer's Daughters is an adult film that does what Zebedy Colt did best. It pushes boundaries and tries to put as many twisted and demented scenes together as possible in its short run time. Farmer's Daughters won't be for all viewers and is especially not for ones that like tame films. Impulse Pictures has done a decent job with this release. The print is a bit beat up but the film is watchable. [read the full review]

Rick L. Blalock's
An innocent afternoon of spying on their parents having sex (and then forcibly sexually assaulting the farm hand) turns even more vile for three daughters when escaped convicts pick their farm to hide from the cops! A horrifying, hardcore afternoon of assault, torture and incest follows as the convicts take advantage of the entire family, culminating in a shocking, perverted game of Simon Says and a weirdly mixed and edited final montage. This film is the very definition of hardcore, and one of the most eyebrow raising films in the Impulse Pictures library! [read the full review]

It's all about raping, raping, and more raping when three escaped convicts happen upon Zebedy Colt's and Gloria Leonard's pervy little homestead in "Farmer's Daughters". A decent, 1975 release from Gourmet Video and Colt himself, this one is certainly heavy on the heavy-handed sex, and--from the best that I can tell--it seems that everyone except for Zebedy and Leonard ends up as a rapist by the time that all's said and done. Giving entirely new meaning to the phrase "daddy's little girl", the backwater blonde beauty, Jean Jennings, fucks her father, then her father and his friend, and finally a guest at the motel at which she works in "Sharon", an overall-good, 1977 release from Gourmet Video and Navred Reef. Anna Obsessed (TVX) review summaries:
Oddobsessionmovies'
How does one review a cut version of an alternate cut? I suppose I'll begin with a bit of background. In 1976, when the term talent in relation to hardcore films didn't mean that a movie included 5 anal scenes or an "actress" was willing to do a creampie, many TALENTED filmmakers lent their hands (and minds) to high class, high budgeted, hardcore productions. Barriers were broken as more and more controversial material was allowed into hardcore productions. Even so, some still pushed the line a bit too far. (Anna) Obsessed was born in 1976, and released simply under the title Obsessed (a title which inexplicably remains on every single video I've ever seen of this film, even though all the boxes say Anna Obsessed). The film was either to strong, or perhaps to depressing and realistic for both critics and audiences, for it disappeared from screens as quickly as it had arrived. Towards the end of 1977 however, Obsessed reemerged as Anna Obsessed. [read the full review]

Gerard Damiano's dark, downbeat journey. It's not really erotic, but it's hardcore sex. It's an adult film with a message. Or is it? It's a lot of things but it doesn't seem to actually become anything in particular. Not this version, anyway. [read the full review]

"Maraschino Cherry" is an interesting release from 1978, Radley Metzger, and Video-X-Pix that, once again, appears that I'm going to be the only one who really likes it. That's not to say that it isn't without its flaws, of course. Indeed, this film--to a large degree--comes off as "trying too hard" to replicate the type of nonchalant, sexual action/attitude that pervades films like "Barbara Broadcast" and so on. Still, in many ways, it's enjoyable and sexy...enough so that I found it a worthy purchase. [read the full review]

Don't be fooled by the fact that this was directed by Radley Metzger, who directed such acknowledged classics as The Opening of Misty Beethoven. This film just doesn't come close to the level of Misty Beethoven, or Metzger's other efforts. The DVD was transfered from an extremely distressed print of the movie. This thing is simply terrible to look at, and there is little eroticism, despite the presence of the superstars of the era, including Leslie Bovee, Gloria Leonard, Constance Money, and Annette Haven. For example, Constance Money's scene consists only of a short handjob. About the only thing that saves this film from being a complete waste is the nasty, kinky S&M scene with C.J. Lang. NOTE: This is not your typical review. Others have done an excellent job reviewing the content, scenes, performances, etc. of this porn classic. This "review" concerns itself with how the DVD's contents compare with the complete, uncut original release version of the film or an early (before prior self-censorship) VHS version. The Ratings given refer either to the "original" version of the film (Performers, Plot, Sex, etc.) or to the DVD version (Extras, Value, etc.) and are relatively arbitrary. The important info is that which follows. MARASCHINO CHERRY DVD IS THE PITS! Radley Metzgers last hardcore effort under his Henry Paris nom-de-film is finally available on DVD from Video-X-Pix. Well, they saved the worst for last and by that, I dont mean from a content standpoint! While Maraschino Cherry is generally regarded as the weakest of that group of films, even Metzgers weakest efforts far outstrip those of most of his porn peers and successors, IM (and many others) HO. Comming of Angels, A (A Coming of Angels) review summaries:
classix comment's
Although described as a hardcore spoof of Charlie's Angels, this is actually a very dark, almost depressing film featuring outstanding performances from some of the most talented late 70s hardcore actors. The production values and atmosphere are also very effective. A very good film for those who just can't stand modern porn. [read the full review]

Very "dark" plot including scenes of kidnapping, bondage and forced sex. The acting is fairly good although the A/V quality isn't the best (e.g. - some sex scenes substitute music for the actual sounds from the actors/actresses). This movie is famous for as lustful a lesbian scene as you will ever see. In it, Leslie Bovee eats, nay, devours Abigail Clayton's sweet, young pussy so voraciously, it borders on cannibalism. The camerawork is terrific as Abigail appears to gasp while Bovee firmly holds onto her squirming, orgasming body - feverishly sucking and tongue-lashing the pretty young actress' spasming pussy with all of her sexual energy until it actually seems that Clayton can take no more (this is one scene where the actual moans, groans and lip-smacking from the actresses would have added to the already volcanic nature of the action). Length: 84:20 Year: 1977 The Caballero dvd of A Coming Of Angels is presented in full-screen which doesnt appear to be correct because during the ending credits the names are cut off on the left and right of the screen, but during the rest of the movie you dont notice anything really being cut off. Unlike earlier Caballero dvds this one is on one track so you dont have those layer changes that cause the pauses, such as on Amanda By Night. The story to this movie is that Mark (Jamie Gillis) is an evil kidnapper who sells the women he kidnaps to various buyers. Before he does this though he and his evil sidekicks train the women how to be sexually submissive. This movie was meant to be a take off of Charlies Angels, with Carrie (Annette Haven), Jennifer (Abigail Clayton), and Robin (Leslie Bovee) playing the angels. Jennifer has been kidnapped by Mark and his gang and so the other two angels are out to find her and that is the basic plot to the movie. Robert (John Leslie) has a serious problem throughout the movie. [read the full review]

If people want to have sex for my entertainment, who am I not to watch them? That means, among other things, that I have absolutely nothing against "old school" porn. By the same token, however, I don't think "classic" movies are inherently better than what's made today. With that in mind, Blue Ribbon Blue presents itself as a greatest hits package of classic stars. Unfortunately, it's not. In fact, it was produced years ago before its performers were even considered legends, and its poor mastering reflect just how much of a thrown together effort it actually is. Had they known that it would be released in the 21st century, it's producers may have paid closer attention to what they included. [read the full review]
