Vinegar Syndrome has done an excellent job with their DVD release with excellent audio and video quality.

Review brief: The Wakefield Poole Collection collects three of Poole's gay adult movies along with several of Poole's short films into one volume. The set contains Poole's feature-length movies Boys in the Sand, Bijou, and Boys in the Sand 2 along with his short films Andy, Water Movie, Roger, and Freedom Day Parade. The collection offers a nice view of Poole's work with his best film, Bijou, included on the release and his landmark first film, Boys in the Sand. Mercury Releasing has done a good job with their release of the movies on this release with generally good audio and video.

Review brief: Seed Money: The Chuck Holmes Story has been released by NakedSword through their NakedSword Film Works (NSFW) division that was launched in 2016 to exhibit gay independent movies that aren't exactly pornographic yet aren't exactly mainstream. Seed Money: The Chuck Holmes Story is a documentary that tells about the life of Falcon Studios co-founder Chuck Holmes and of Falcon Studios as well. The documentary is excellent and gives the viewer a great picture on the rise of the gay adult movie industry as well as Chuck Holmes and the movie is a must-see for any fan of adult movies, gay or straight. NakedSword Film Works has done an excellent job with their streaming-only edition of Seed Money: The Chuck Holmes Story with nice audio and video quality.

Review brief: This collection of Wakefield Poole movies from Gorilla Factory Productions presents two movies from two very different periods of Poole's career. Moving! is a shot on film loop carrier made in the mid-1970s and displays Poole's silent storytelling techniques whereas One, Two, Three... is shot on video from roughly a decade later and is an avant-garde performance piece. Both movies are worth watching and Gorilla Factory Productions has done a nice job with this release.

Review brief: 5 Films 5 Years Volume 1: Golden Age Erotica is an excellent limited edition Blu-ray collection of five classic adult films. The set contains Too Naughty to Say No, Hot and Saucy Pizza Girls, The Ribald Tales of Canterbury, Prisoner of Paradise, and Dixie Ray Hollywood Star. The films on the release span from 1978 to 1985 and, honestly, fans of golden age adult films should find several to their liking, even if not all of the films included are favorites. None of the films on this release have ever looked better on home video and 5 Films 5 Years Volume 1: Golden Age Erotica is definitely worth picking up before it is sold out.

G O'Clock talks about the issue of using GHB at gay parties by looking at a gay paramedic, Alex, who parties with GHB on the side because he believes he is smart enough to handle the drug. G O'Clock has some great acting, a good story, and will honestly make the viewer think at the end. G O'Clock is well worth watching. The idea is intriguing, however, the short movie seems to drag and the ending isn't as fulfilling as it could be. Review brief: 9½ Weeks: An Erotic XXX Parody is an absolutely excellent adult movie take-off of the mainstream film 9½ Weeks. So often in an adult version of a mainstream film the mood and feel of the original gets lost, especially the eroticism, which is often just traded for hardcore sex. David Lord has done an excellent job of keeping the eroticism from the mainstream film and adding hardcore sex. This reviewer can't recommend 9½ Weeks: An Erotic XXX Parody highly enough this is a must see adult movie. The short movie starts out well but then introduces a demonic Frosty the Snowman that is sure to keep viewers up with nightmares that unfortunately ruins the sex scene as well. Just remember, what has been watched, can't be unwatched. Wood Rocket has done a great job with their streaming and download release of Frosty the Snowjob on Pornhub Premium with excellent video and audio quality.
