Review brief: Ivy League is, quite frankly, your average shot on video mid-1980s adult movie production. The movie is a feature film however, there is only enough story to move the movie from sex scene to sex scene. If you like the mid-to-late 1980s style of feature movies, then you will enjoy Ivy League. If you are looking for more than what you standard 1980s fare had to offer, you should give Ivy League a pass. Toby Ross and BDF (Big Dik Factory) has done an average job for a release of a shot on video production. The video quality is lacking, and the audio is good.

Review brief: The late John Christopher's final film is a high point in his directorial career. He has taken the age-old a group of people are listed in a will but have to spend the night in a house to secure the inheritance premise and kept it fresh in Hard Money. As a result, Hard Money is an enjoyable gay hardcore feature film. HIS Video's DVD release of Hard Money is frustrating, the video and audio quality is good however, roughly 16 minutes of the film has been cut.

Review brief: Bree Mills' movies for Pure Taboo often combine excellent photography, great acting, a good story, excellent locations, and a good sex scene and Mixed Signals is no different. Mixed Signals falls in between a short film and a feature film in content, however, Mixed Signals is definitely not just a sex scene. Viewers who go in expecting a full feature will find Mixed Signals lacking, however, Mixed Signals is an excellent short film and well worth watching. Review brief: A Cruel Bet is the first feature, or featurette as the advertising calls the movie, to have been created under the new Gamma Films and Vivid partnership. As for whether you, as a viewer, will be impressed with A Cruel Bet depends on what you are looking for in a movie. A Cruel Bet is well-made, as are all Gamma Films productions. However, A Cruel Bet feels more like a Pure Taboo movie at heart than it feels like a Vivid movie. Fans of the various Gamma Films imprints, especially fans of the Pure Taboo branding, should love A Cruel Bet. However, fans of the Vivid imprint may find that A Cruel Bet doesn't fit in with the rest of the Vivid brand so well. Vivid has done an excellent job with the streaming and download edition available on AdultTime.com on the Vivid channel with excellent video and audio quality.

The result is a must see movie that will keep the Nob Hill Theatre alive forever.
