Heimat XXX is a gay-oriented short film by director Sebastian Dominic Auer. In Heimat XXX mythology collides with the real world as the homoerotic tale plays out for the viewer. Heimat XXX doesn't contain any dialog allowing the viewer to be immersed in the visuals and music that tell the story contained within the movie.

Rooted in the German romanticism movement, Heimat XXX tells the story of two lovers' (Xaver Eichenlaub and Sasha Vain) relationship and visually depicts the development of their love. The couples' relationship begins, set against a picturesque mountain scene, with innocence and playfulness.

As the couples' relationship blooms in the mountains, images rooted in mythology with the two lovers are intermixed with the nature shots. It is through the intermixed mythological footage that the story of their blooming relationship is told as innocence is lost.

As happy as their relationship seems when the movie ends, stay through the credits as afterward there is a slight portion that forebodes that, sadly, all will not be well for the couple as their relationship continues.

Heimat XXX is a beautiful movie to watch with absolutely stunning photography and engrossing imagery. However, Heimat XXX isn't a movie for anyone who wants their entertainment spoon-fed to them. Heimat XXX leaves it up to the viewer to be able to interpret the imagery presented, as it should be as it is through the imagery that the real beauty of Heimat XXX comes through.

Heimat XXX shouldn't be missed. The short film has a lot to offer viewers and is a movie that has more to offer with every viewing because when you go into the movie with a greater understanding of what has happened the viewer gets even more out of the imagery presented.

The edition of Heimat XXX screened is the streaming-only version available on NakedSword. NakedSword Film Works has done an excellent job with their streaming-only edition of Heimat XXX. Heimat XXX was shot digitally and is presented in the anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1 in 1080p. The image quality for Heimat XXX is impeccable with crystal clear video free from any blemishes. The colors in the movie are perfect.

Heimat XXX is presented with a Stereo audio track. The audio for Heimat XXX consists solely of music without any dialog. The music sounds full and contains no issues.

NakedSword Film Works hasn't included any extras for their streaming-only release of Heimat XXX.

NakedSword has released Heimat XXX through their NakedSword Film Works (NSFW) division that was launched in 2016 to exhibit independent gay movies that aren't exactly pornographic yet aren't exactly mainstream. Heimat XXX is a dialog-free short film that shows the initial development of the relationship of two lovers invoking Germanic mythology to tell the story of their budding love. Heimat XXX is a beautiful must-see short film. NakedSword Film Works has done an excellent job with their streaming-only edition of Heimat XXX with outstanding video and audio quality.
