T. Boy, Tony Tedeschi, and Jon Dough Initial Expectations: I normally enjoy porn farces. Combine that with Asia and Kylie in the same movie, and I'm there!!!! Fairly high expectations. Initial Reaction: Well, there's a little under an hour and a half I'll never get back. Who Should Watch It : Extreme fans of the stars Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting a halfways decent DVD rather than a half-assed DVD Audio /Video Quality: Overall, it's about the same as you'd get if you watched it on the original VHS. The video would be okay, but the lighting was horrible in a few spots. The audio is uneven in parts and it's pretty obviously dubbed in a few spots also. Music: The music ranges from being completely overpowering to barely noticeable.

Cast: Laure Sainclair, Anita Blond, Erika Bella, Vivienne, Regina, Illana Moore, Dina Pearl, Donisz, Kristina Swarcz, Jean- Yves Le Castel, Andy Youngman, Zsolt Walton, and Ferenc Extras: Photo Gallery and bios of Laure, Anita, and Vivienne. 'The Loves of Laure' also has the original French language track along with dubbing in English, Spanish, German, and Italian and Portuguese, Danish, and Swedish subtitles. Audio Quality: The French (original language) track is very clear and synchs very well with the video. Since I don't speak French this wasn't too important to me, but it does show attention to technical details.

Audio Quality: Uneven. It ends up pretty average, but the dialogue is a mixed bag. Sometimes the dialogue is really good, other times it's barely understandable it's so quiet. Video Quality: Typical gonzo quality, which is to say okay at best. Music: None. Initial Expectations: With both Missy and Stacy Valentine here, I had some pretty good expectations. That is, until I saw Randy West. Initial Reaction: Despite having Randy West, it's better than I expected.

There's also a few spots which seem obviously dubbed and a few that seem dubbed but aren't that noticeable. Video Quality: Good. Music: The music is soft and romantic through most of the movie. It's also well balanced with the rest of the audio. Initial Expectations: With Raven Touchstone writing, Bud Lee directing, and Temptress and Anna Malle in the cast this seems like a sure winner. Initial Reaction: Pretty average.

Review: I guess Penny (Nina Hartley) and Roger (James Bonn) are on vacation. They stop in a ghost town so that Roger can drain the weasel. While he's relieving himself, Shade (Tony Tedeschi who you know has to be a tough dude with a name like Shade), a homeless guy walks by and doesn't want to go any further.

Music: The only music is during a little lead in section for each girl. It's extremely poorly balanced. The bios are pretty standard, but the behind the scenes are a lot of fun. There are two scenes that we get to see the inner workings of: the final scene between Jonathan, Tina, and LeeAnna and the threesome between Vince, Ian, and Taylor. The behind the scenes of Vince, Ian, and Taylor's scene didn't really add too much for me, but the Jonathan, Tina, and LeeAnna's behind the scenes was great. It does a great job of showing the cast as real people and how much fun everybody was having on the set. Audio Quality: Good. Most of the movie is excellent, but the scenes where the spies check in with the 'Evil One' are bad. Video Quality: Very good. Music: Acoustic and, dare I say, tender.

The scenes aren't too bad. They're normal Vivid quality. It also has the Vivid Bonus Disc - read bonus disc review here. Audio Quality: Choice between dolby surround and Dolby 5.1. The sound is pretty good, but it's also pretty obviously dubbed in a lot of places. Video Quality: Very grainy, but 'Brat Force' was filmed in the late 1980s, so it's not bad for the age. Music: I'm not sure, but I think the music was done by Merv and the Mellowtones. I've heard better stuff on elevators.

Initial Expectations: Pretty high. There's not many people who are known for putting out really good gonzo. Since Pussyman's been around for quite a while, I figure he probably knows what he's doing. Initial Reaction: Wow. Summer Knight, not Pussyman. Disc Problems: The disc is a flipper! Half way through the movie, you have to turn it over to finish it.

Previews, bios, 'interactive' sex, and AVN highlights. It's the same extras as the other Wave DVDs. Audio Quality: Average. There are a couple of spots that seem like they may have been dubbed, but it's not overly noticeable. There are also a few places where the sound seems to lose its depth, which probably added to my feeling of parts being dubbed. Video Quality: The picture shows a lot of grain, but I think that comes more from the original than the transfer. Music: The music comes and goes throughout the movie, but since it seems to be on purpose, it isn't too bad. When the music does stop, it seems to be the end of the song and you have some of the sounds of the people. Initial Expectations: Paul Thomas normally does a pretty good porno without much plot but with some average to better than average sex.

Audio Quality: Although Hi - Fi sound, I thought it was pretty poor. There was very little depth to the sound, there was a lot of background noise and wind noise, and almost every scene was dubbed. Video Quality: Average to slightly better than average. There's a little grain, but that was probably from the original filming. Music: Not bad, but it was very repetitive. There were a couple of spots where the music would end and then the same song would start up again. It wouldn't be bad if it wasn't noticeable, but I noticed.

Initial Expectations: I have heard a lot of really good things about Japanese erotica, so I expected a well made adult feature. I had also heard that a lot of people thought that it was quite sick, so I was a little uneasy about some of what I might find. Initial Reaction: Yep. That was different. Extremely well made, but not your usual porn. Review: At some point, I think almost everybody who watches American porn starts to get bored with it in some way or another and look for something different. One of the things I've heard a lot about that seemed like a good place to look for something different was Japanese erotica. Not really knowing much about it, 'Cool Devices' seemed like as good a place to try as any other.

Video Quality: Slightly better than average. Music: Fit the scenes and mood very good. Initial Expectations: It has to be better than the 'Avengers' movie that came out in 1998. I think Nici should do great in her role as Mrs. Peel, but I'm unsure about Wilde Oscar as Steep. I also expected some pretty heavy anal action. Initial Reaction: Fun! It made me realize again how bad the 'Avengers' movie from a few years ago was.
