Extras: Deleted Scenes, bloopers, release trailer, photo gallery, special EFX reel, & a commentary by Nic Andrews (director), S. Taylor (producer), Jewel De'Nyle, Evan Stone, and Danielle Rogers. The commentary is excellent. The commentary is a great mix of humor bordering on Mystery Science Theater 3000 and background information. The deleted scene is the submission scene. It's done in black and white with only production sound. It's a very good scene on its own, but I can see why they redid it. The bloopers give a nice feel to the cast and show them as people and having a lot of fun on the set.

Audio Quality: Excellent. Everything is very well balanced.

Video Quality: Very good. There are a couple of spots that seem like they may be glitches, but I think they were meant to make it seem more like virtual reality.

Music: I started writing this review three or four hours after watching 'Electric Sex' because I couldn't remember any music. When I went back I found music in every scene I checked (although I did spot check). The music matched each scene so well that it almost seemed like it was part of the sex itself.

Initial Expectations: Just by looking at the extras on this DVD show that Digital Sin is trying to make a top of the line DVD here. I can't see anybody putting that much effort into a lousy movie, so I've got some pretty high expectations here.

Initial Reaction: Extremely well made porn.

Review: I originally wanted to watch 'Electric Sex' because I remembered Tricia Deveraux saying that it was one of her favorite adult films in her Adult DVD Talk Chat. When given the chance to review it for Adult DVD Talk, I jumped at it. 'Electric Sex' is another porno similar to 'Shameless Desires' and 'Smells Like... Sex' where a loose premise is used to allow many varied sex scenes. That doesn't mean that there's bad acting either. Everybody in the movie does a great job. It's one of the few movies where I can't think of a problem with the movie.

'Electric Sex' starts with Jewel De'Nyle being lead with a leash by Felicia, Cassandra Knight, and Lisa Romero, all in leather, up to a chair that she's strapped into and connected to. Felicia gives her a few warnings and then flips the switch to which we see Jewel's body convulsing, and she's in the virtual reality touching herself. As soon as she's done, we go back to Felicia and company monitoring her and wanting to see what deep desires Jewel has. Of course, being virtual reality, not everything Jewel does is her doing it. In this case, Jewel is Alexandra Silk, who washes Evan Stone's car and then does it on the hood.

Felicia and company are intrigued by Jewel and her fantasies, and now load a submission series. We start with John Decker blindfolding Jewel and teasing her with a feather and riding crop. As things move on, a portal opens and out walks Teri Starr in full leather gear. This is a really hot scene, and Jewel and Teri both trash talk really great in it. It's probably the only fault in the submission theme, as Jewel shouldn't be trash talking as the submissive one. The scene is hot enough, though, that you don't really care about Jewel's lack of submission.

Next, Jewel becomes Danielle Rogers as she comes up out of a pool. Being virtual reality she isn't at all wet. She eventually finds Taylor Moore and they have a nice scene on the deck chair with some oil and an ice dildo (because plastic don't melt). And melt it does. The ice dildo does a good job of bringing something new in. The only bad thing about the scene is that I don't really care for Taylor Moore. She does an okay job, but she really needs a little cleanup down under. She's got some major pimples that I first thought were drops of water from their size.

After this, Jewel and Vince Voyeur have a nice shower scene. There's nothing here that really stands out from other shower scenes until listen to the commentary. Vince showed up to do the shoot after returning from eastern Europe where he was stabbed. He was in major discomfort and they couldn't show his back due to a lot of scarring. After listening, you really have to respect the scene and how well it came out. If it weren't for the commentary, one would never know.

Jewel has had about all she can take at this point. She's getting really dizzy and is begging for Felicia and company to stop. Instead, they send her back in where she's now Johnni Black taking on Kyle Stone. Kyle is watching Jewel in the VR gear in the chair on a screen on a wall with the projector beside him. It's kind of a different touch, as the projector runs the image of Jewel and what's happening to her throughout the entire scene with Johnni and Kyle's shadows falling on the screen.

Finally, the helmet shorts out and Jewel returns. Of course, she's ready to greet Felicia and company with open thighs. Unfortunately, ninety percent of this scene is between Jewel and Felicia. Nothing against either lady, it's just that I was looking forward to a good all girl orgy, and felt a little let down. At the end, we find out that there is sequel material, but I won't tell you how.

In addition to great sex, 'Electric Sex' has what is probably the best special effects in an adult film. There's an entire feature that runs around five minutes in the special features dedicated just to the effects. It shows the steps to do some of the effects and how they were put together. The effects don't feel cheesy either. They feel like they belong in the movie and aren't there just to spice it up.

Raincoat Factor: Extreme

Overall: Pick up the Collector's Edition of 'Electric Sex' if you're looking for some great sex without having to worry about a plot. The cast is extremely hot, and the sex has a little of something for everybody. The picture and sound are excellent, as are the extras.
