(cover says 90 which I assume includes the photo gallery) Production Date: 11 / 2 / 1997 Director: Andrew Blake Cast: Dita, Anita Blonde, Inari Vachs, Temptress, Nina, Regina Hull, and Dale Bonet Initial Expectations: From what Ive seen, Andrew Blake makes some of the most artistic porn out there. Ive got high expectations. Initial Reaction: Wow. Its beautiful, artistic, and very erotic. Audio /Video Quality: The picture is so clear that I wasnt sure if it was even shot on film. To my knowledge, Blake always shoots on film, so this DVD shows that porn shot on film doesnt have to look grainy. There are almost no sex sounds in the audio. There is a voice over in some parts of the movie which is very clear. Music: The music varies from the Ave Maria to techno. It fits the scenes and, like everything else, is very well done. Review: As with most of Andrew Blakes films, there isnt much plot. Even saying that much might be stretching the amount of plot in Pin-Ups 2 . Instead theres more of a general theme.

Production Date: 10 / 8 / 1999 Director: Nic Andrews Cast: Misty, Cherry Lee, Julianna Sterling, Miko Lee, Porsha, Chris Charming, and Voodoo Initial Expectations: Ive enjoyed most of Digital Sins part releases, so I have some fair hopes for this DVD as well. Initial Reaction: Its no great wonder of porn, but its not too bad. I enjoyed it a lot more than Naughty College School Girls #2 and Naughty College School Girls #3 . Audio /Video Quality: The video quality is pretty good, especially when you consider the low budget nature of this feature. Theres some pixelation here and there but its not too noticeable for the most part. The audio isnt quite as good, depending on your view. On the plus side, you can here almost everything quite clearly. On the minus side, it means that you get to hear some directions to the stars as well as things like the crews cell phones. Music: The only music is during the interview before the scene.

Im not expecting much of an overall DVD or transfer, however. Initial Reaction: Its an amazing movie. Its just too bad that Caballero gave it such a horrible DVD treatment. Whoever did this should get hung up by their privates from the nearest telephone pole. Audio /Video Quality: The audio is pretty good although it is noticeably dubbed in a couple spots. The video is grainy but not too bad. Its about what you expect from a shot on film feature. Music: The music is very soft and stays in the background nicely. Its one of the best music balances Ive heard so far. Disc Problems: Theres a kind of funky time code.

Initial Reaction: What? Oh, Im sorry I must have dozed off there. Audio /Video Quality: The picture is a little below average. Theres some pixelation problems, such as the entire screen flashing fuzzy for a moment. Considering the horrible lighting for almost the entire movie Im surprised that the picture isnt worse than what it is. The audio isnt too bad as you can hear everything pretty well. Theres a little bit of dubbing, but the most annoying thing is that you can hear the noises from the surroundings as good or better than the sounds you want to hear. Music: Its well balanced but a little cheesier than normal porno music.

Although I have hopes for the movie, I dont expect much of a DVD. Initial Reaction: Its kind of fun but nothing special. Audio /Video Quality: I dont think anything has been done since the original VHS release as the video quality is VHS quality at best. The audio synchs pretty well but a lot of the dialogue is kind of hard to understand. Music: The music is your typical porno music. Its way too loud for many of the scenes. Disc Problems: Once again, Sin City has no time code on the movie. Sin City also seems to think that its a good idea to have mandatory phone sex ads and a mandatory commercial for their web site before the main menu. Review: Wow. My 100th review. I have to admit that I never really thought Id get this far.

It was very good and I have the same hope for the rest of the feature. Initial Reaction: Although the DVD lacks extras, the movie is beautiful, artistic, and very erotic. It also has a very good transfer. Audio /Video Quality: Adam & Eve also has a Spanish language track. As an American, and therefore speaking only one language as the joke goes, I have no clue if it is well done or not. The audio that I can understand synchs very well with the video. Theres a few parts where the dialogue is hard to hear, but overall its very good. The video is also very clear.

Initial Reaction: Very good. Its a very good couples movie while also keeping with the western feel. The combination made it a lot of fun to watch. Audio /Video Quality: Average. The picture is pretty good, but it does suffer from some lighting problems. Im torn on the lighting. You can see everything pretty good, but most of the scenes are in rooms lit by lanterns or candles so they wouldnt be that bright. The audio varies. Normally its very well balanced, but there is some dubbing and a few spots where the dialogue is way too quiet. Music: The music seems like it was stolen directly from one of the many spaghetti westerns from the sixties.

Initial Reaction: Not nearly as good as the original. Audio /Video Quality: As with most of Mr. Cramers movies, Looker 2 is shot on film. Although normally this means the video lacks quite a bit, its not that noticeable here. There is some grain, but its just enough that you notice the grain. There are also many dark scenes, which dont have any more grain than the rest of the movie. For a shot on film movie, the video quality is excellent. The audio quality is also good, but not as good as the video.

Audio /Video Quality: Looker was shot on film, which, as far as I know, is typical of most of Nic Cramers movies. Since its shot on film there is some grain but its not too bad. Theres just enough grain that you notice it. For being shot on film its about as little grain as Ive seen in an adult movie. The audio is well balanced, although there are a couple flaws in the movie. Theyre not that noticeable and the audio synchs very well throughout the movie. Music: The music varies some in style to match the scene.

I havent watched anything from Plum (but I have watched one Pleasure DVD), so Im going to keep an open mind. Initial Reaction: The movie doesnt have anything to do with either schoolgirls or confessions. Other than that it doesnt have all the cover claims. Its not a good first impression. Audio /Video Quality: Both are surprisingly good. The dialogue is normally very clear, but it is slightly muffled in a few spots. Theres no music to cover anything up and the microphones seem to have captured everything. The mattress squeaks come through clear and the outdoor scene has the airplanes flying overhead. Surprisingly, it doesnt detract that much from the movie as it is very well balanced with the rest of the audio.

Music: Theres almost no music to Bliss and it works great. The few moments with music have it so far in the background that its barely noticeable. Initial Reaction: Its a great compilation of Asias scenes, but it the technical aspects could have been done a little better. Audio /Video Quality: Both vary, as its, you guessed it, a compilation DVD. Theres some grain to several of the scenes, which is to be expected, but its still pretty average. Thankfully, some of the scenes are also very clear. Overall the audio is pretty well balanced.

The Buttman movies that Ive seen have also been great. I dont have any reason to expect this to be any different. Initial Reaction: Its not a great DVD, but it is very good. The movie is a lot of fun and the commentarys great. Audio /Video Quality: Buttmans Ultimate Workout was shot in 1990 on betacam, so youre not going to get the same clarity as on some of the current releases. Considering that its over ten years old, its a very good picture. Theres some grain, but its to be expected. The sound is a little muffled in places, but it really fits the scenes. Although its not the best, clearest sound, its perfect for the movie.

Initial Reaction: Wicked and Adam & Eve really pulled out the stops for Flashpoint and it shows. This is a great DVD. Audio /Video Quality: The picture quality is excellent. I didnt notice a single blur in the entire movie. The audio is very good, but theres a spot or two that appears to be dubbed. Theres also a few spots where the audio seems hollow and echoes. Music: The music is great.

Audio /Video Quality: As with the first part, the audio is excellent. Face Dance Part 2 was originally shot back in 1992 so some grain is expected and is also about the same as the first part. Music: The music ranges from soft, smooth jazz to driving rock. It fits the many moods of the movie.

The only problems with that line of thinking is a) it's a Wicked release and I have yet to watch a bad Wicked DVD b) Brad Armstong wrote, produced, and directed it and Brad has done some excellent adult films. So, I'm not exactly sure what to expect, but I'm sure it will be good. Initial Reaction: This is a great all sex feature and a very well put together DVD. Audio /Video Quality: As usual from Wicked, the transfer is very good. Theres a little grain to the picture, but not a lot and it isnt that noticeable.

Initial Reaction: Another great job from Private. Its not a perfect release, but its close. Audio /Video Quality: Except for about thirty seconds the picture quality is great. There are a few night shots of Paris that are very grainy. Except for those scenes, the picture is almost perfect. The audio is noticeably dubbed, but it is a foreign release. I would have been happier if the French language would have matched up better with the video, but both it and the English plot summaries are very clear. Music: The music ranges from Beethovens Moonlight Sonata to your normal high quality porn music. It sits very nicely in the background and there were times I had to consciously listen for it to know it was there.

Audio /Video Quality: Theres a little grain to the picture, but not much. The audio is done well, although theres a few spots where the dialogue is hard to understand. Neither are bad enough that it interferes too much with the movie. Music: The music mostly has a smooth jazz feel. It really fits couples movies well.
