Running Time: 77 min.

Production Date: 10 / 1999

Director: Stephan Rossini (movie) Anton da Silva (cover)

Cast: Inari Vachs, Candi Kiss, Regan Starr, C. J. Bennett, Chris Cannon, Mickey G., Baki, Billy Glide, and Cheyenne

Initial Expectations: This has the potential to be a fun DVD. I haven’t watched anything from Plum (but I have watched one Pleasure DVD), so I’m going to keep an open mind.

Initial Reaction: The movie doesn’t have anything to do with either schoolgirls or confessions. Other than that it doesn’t have all the cover claims. It’s not a good first impression.

Audio /Video Quality: Both are surprisingly good. The dialogue is normally very clear, but it is slightly muffled in a few spots. There’s no music to cover anything up and the microphones seem to have captured everything. The mattress squeaks come through clear and the outdoor scene has the airplanes flying overhead. Surprisingly, it doesn’t detract that much from the movie as it is very well balanced with the rest of the audio. The video is very clear but there are a few noticeable flashes for what I assumed was to be a photo gallery.

Music: None.

False Advertising: There is no bios or photo gallery as listed on the cover

Review: I was a little nervous when I looked at the cast to Schoolgirls’ Confessions . For some reason, none of them really seemed like the right age for it. I’ve really liked Inari lately, so I really wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt. With comments like ‘behind the scenes at an exclusive private school for girls’ and how they ‘confess their deepest secrets’ it sounded like it could be fun. Unfortunately, I should have been afraid. This is actually an all sex feature. I have nothing against all sex features, but I don’t like it when they sneak up on me pretending to almost kind of have a plot.

It’s like they completely missed the title of the movie. Let’s check. Two words. Looks like it might be complicated. Let’s take them one at a time. Word number one: Schoolgirls’ (note: plural possessive, we’ll deal with just plural being schoolgirls). Okay. These are girls still in school, or at least who look like they’re still in school due to the consent thing. Of all the girls, the only one that looks halfway close is Candi Kiss and that’s because she’s wearing a cute little plaid skirt and white sweater. She could almost pass for college here. The rest of them? Regan has so many zits below her waist that I was trying to see if it was a connect the dots puzzle. Luckily she’s by far the worst of the girls, but there’s still about as much of a chance of the other three girls passing as schoolgirls here as the Minnesota Vikings winning the Super Bowl.

Word number two: Confessions. Consulting my handy, dandy dictionary I find: acknowledgment; avowal; admission. I suppose we could put this as telling somebody something. Let’s see. The closest we come here is Inari suggesting that she and Chris have sex on the bed. Sorry, but that’s a suggestion. Candi is waiting for her tutor to show up since she’s lost. Regan and Baki just start going at it without as much as Inari’s suggestion. CJ shows up when Cheyenne and Billy wish for her. This isn’t that tough of a concept. I’m sure that most elementary school kids could tell you what a confession is. The least they could have had the girl saying “I want two guys to fuck me so I can collect my paycheck for being in this.”.

Well, luckily that’s about it for the bad stuff. There’s some good stuff too. I have to give Inari and Chris credit in their scene. They both seem to know that they don’t fit in a feature titled Schoolgirls’ Confessions . They do, however, try to act young and appear to have a lot of fun. The camera work is pretty good in their scene and most of Inari’s blowjob feels like it’s cut from one of the Blowjob Fantasies movies.

Actually, the best thing about Schoolgirls’ Confessions is the chemistry. Everybody seems to fit really great as a couple, and I’m wondering if Regan and Baki are a couple in real life after some of their performance here. I’ve never been impressed with Regan, but she and Baki were wonderful, at least for chemistry. Even the threesome between CJ, Cheyenne, and Billy comes off with great chemistry. It almost seems like they were screwing around for some of it. When Cheyenne pops on CJ’s face, he narrowly misses her eye while commenting on his aim. She flinches away and they all laugh about it when CJ slaps him and swears at him. It’s great when everybody in the movie appears to enjoy themselves and it raises up a movie that I know I should hate to one that is bearable to watch and maybe even break out again some day.

Extras: Trailers for Stray Cat, Evil Eyes, Looker, Prey, Shattered Vows, Intimate Strangers, Penetrator 2, A Clockwork Orgy, Eros Instinct, and Back & Beyond. Most of them are pretty decent trailers. Many of the films are by Nic Cramer.

Themes: Straight, anal, group, DP, rimming (male > female), light spanking, and male anal stimulation

Raincoat Factor: Sky high

Overall: Currently, Schoolgirls’ Confessions can be found online for between $21 and $25 with most stores offering it for under $22. If you’re a fan of one of the stars, rent it first. Even $15 would be greatly overpriced.

Note to Plum (Pleasure): In the future, make sure the extras you advertise on the cover are on the DVD. This is a really easy way to lose customers. On the plus side, I was very impressed with the transfer. If the rest of the DVD was as good as the transfer it would have been a great DVD.
