Ive heard nothing but very high praise for this movie and the overall DVD looks to be excellent also. Initial Reaction: Wow. If all DVDs were made like this, people would have forgotten what VHS is already. Audio /Video Quality: The audio is extremely clear and synchs great with the video. Theres some different audio styles throughout the movie, such as commentary from a nature show during a sex scene, but it works well and fits with the overall creativity of the movie. The video is normally excellent. Theres a few spots where theres some soft focus blurring, but overall its great.

I dont expect anything different here. Initial Reaction: Typical Jim Holliday. As usual, a lot of fun and VCA did a good job of putting together a very good overall DVD. Audio /Video Quality: Both are excellent. The picture is always crisp, except for when the scene ends and the soft focus blurs into the next lead in. The audio is very crisp for the movie, but not so good for the behind the scenes. Music: As usual with Jim Hollidays movies, the music is done by Reno and The Rumrunners. Its kind of fun music, and normally not your standard porn music either.

Production Date: 1994 Director: Ernest Greene Cast: Sarah Jane Hamilton, Misty Rain, Diva, and Porsche Lynn Initial Expectations: Sarah Jane Hamilton is one of my favorite adult film stars, so I have some fairly high expectations here. My expectations are somewhat help in check because this is a Vivid release. Initial Reaction: Prison World seems pretty tasteful for a bondage movie, but the technical aspects werent the best. Audio /Video Quality: Both leave some to be desired. The audio is okay, but the music drowns out the dialogue. The picture may have been better when this was originally released on video. Its kind of fuzzy throughout a lot of the movie. Music: The music had more variety than I thought it would. Unfortunately, it seemed to be more balanced with the slap of the whips than with the dialogue. Review: I got as far as seeing that there was a new Sarah Jane Hamilton DVD out before ordering this one.

I enjoy watching women squirt, so I have some hopes for She Squirts. Initial Reaction: If youre looking for a masturbation feature its pretty good. If youre looking for a squirting feature it leaves much to be desired. Audio /Video Quality: Very good. Its kind of surprising with the low budget type features Digital Sin normally releases. I also wsant expecting much technically since the title screen suffered from extreme pixelation. Music: None False Advertising: Only half of the girls squirt, so if youre looking for an all - squirting feature, keep looking. Review: I was eager to review She Squirts for Adult DVD Talk, as I enjoy watching women who squirt. I didnt get beyond the title before knowing that I wanted to review it.

Initial Expectations: This series has been around for quite a while, so if its making it onto DVD there must be something pretty good about it. Since its the first volume, Im expecting this to be very basic. Initial Reaction: Its very basic, but other than being a little dry, its very well done. Audio /Video Quality: The picture is slightly grainy, but its to be expected with the age of the feature. The audio is very well done and normally very well balanced. Music: Although I didnt expect any, theres very light instrumental music (think John Tesh or Kenny G) throughout almost the entire feature. Disc Problems: NO TIME CODE! With how little effort Ive heard it is to do this, I can see no reason why any DVD should be without one.

Ive had some pretty good luck with Metro, and theres some good talent in the cast. With an all wrestling premise, this should be a lot of fun. Initial Reaction: In a word, disappointment. Adding three words, not much fun. Audio /Video Quality: Its okay, but nothing stands out at all one way or another. The audio is well balanced between the music and the action. Music: Typical porn music. Review: I will admit right away that Im not sure on some of the girls in Babes Illustrated 4 . Im pretty sure on most of them, but some of them I had to take a little bit of a guess on. I also have to admit that I had some pretty high expectations for Babes Illustrated 4 . Its a fun premise, and with Rebecca Wilde, Felicia, and April there should be some great sex.

Initial Reaction: Wow. Theres a couple things Im disappointed with, but overall Im really impressed. Audio /Video Quality: Both are very good, if not excellent. I had always heard that Private has the best transfer around and Im tempted to believe them after watching this. Theres a little grain to the picture, but not that much. It noticeable here and there but most times you have to look for it. Also, The Pyramid 1 is presented in widescreen (Im guessing about 1.66:1). Its great to see widescreen making its way into the adult films and I hope to see it more in the future.

There are a few problems with the video, as it shows some pixelation and slight grain in a few spots. The audio was very good except that the balance with the music was off a little. Music: The music is done very well. Theres some great blues in the opening bar scene, and theres a lot of suspenseful music throughout the rest of the movie. Unfortunately its a little loud throughout most of the movie also.

Cox, Kyle Stone, and Nick East Initial Expectations: I enjoy Stuart Canterburys films, and he struck me as a great person to do a Shakespearean porn movie. Adam & Eve can be a mixed bag on their DVDs, but this appeared to be well done. Initial Reaction: A Midsummers Night Cream is a very well done Shakespearian porno. There are a few faults, but theyre fairly minor. Adam & Eve really put a lot of effort into the extras on this DVD, and I think their effort payed off. Audio /Video Quality: As usual with Stuart Canterbury, A Midsummers Night Cream is shot on film, so theres some grain issues. If you want a crystal clear picture, it isnt here.

Wicked normally does a great job on their transfers and extras, so Porn-o-matic 2000 should get a very good treatment. Initial Reaction: Pretty typical Jonathan Morgan stuff, so its a lot of really funny stuff thats done well in addition to the great sex. Audio /Video Quality: Excellent. This is nothing new for Wicked, who puts out some of the best transfers out there on their new titles. Music: Theres a wide range of music and it fits the scenes well.

As a Prisoner rip - off, its excellent. As a porno, its average. Audio /Video Quality: The only thing that really stood out for the audio and video were the background noises in the audio. It sounded like the wind noises that bad outdoor scenes have. Surprisingly, this happened mostly in indoor scenes. The video was average at best.

The picture is one of the grainiest Ive ever seen. In one close-up I could barely tell what I was looking at. Thats pretty bad for porn. The audio is clearer than the video, but still leaves a lot to be desired. Several of the people in the cast are foreign, and it was hard to understand what they were saying. I know that a lot of that was the accents, but a clearer audio would have helped it a lot. Also, several scenes were noticeably dubbed. The sex audio was a mixed bad because many of the scenes didnt have audio other than the music. Music: The music is a light jazz. Its the same kind of music almost any guy would play when a woman comes over that he wants to score with to make her think hes a sensitive guy.

Its one of my favorites and I hope that this one is just as good. At the very least, I have a lot of confidence in Evil Angel putting together a very well made DVD with a great transfer and plenty of well done extras. Initial Reaction: It isnt Face Dance Part 1, but it doesnt try to be either. For a gonzo movie, its going to be hard to beat. Audio /Video Quality: The transfer appears to be very good. Theres some focus issues, but nothing worse than any other gonzo movie. The audio synchs great and is very clear in all but a couple outdoor situations. Music: The music feels out of place. Thankfully, its only in a couple scenes, so it doesnt detract from the movie that much.

I hoped that the sex was at least average and didn't feel chopped. Initial Reaction: Very typical Vivid stuff, although it isn't quite what the cover says it is. Nothing really outstanding, but I don't feel like I wasted my time either. Thankfully, the movie appeared like it was to be this short. It didn't feel hacked as some of Vivid's other releases do. Audio /Video Quality: Much better than I expected, although it is from a fairly current release. The audio and video synch very well.

I have, however heard horrible things about Caballeros transfer. Initial Reaction: Wow. Now I know why there is always a tone of reverence whenever Andrew Blakes name is mentioned. The transfer definitely leaves a lot to be desired, but Ive seen a lot worse. Audio /Video Quality: The video is better than I expected, but the audio is much worse. The video is very soft and slightly grainy. I dont know why, but it worked for me. Maybe it added to some of the artistic feel. For some reason, I dont think a crystal clear picture would have been as good for Secrets.

From what I head about Anabolic, I had better than average expectations. Initial Reaction: Better than average, but a little more attention could have made it much better. Audio /Video Quality: A little better than average. There are some problems with shadows (although most of the movie takes place at night), but they're more than they should be. The audio is very poorly balanced and the dialogue is very hard to hear much of the time. Music: The music fits the scenes very well, but it's way to loud. I gave up on trying to understand the dialogue after the second scene. The balance would have been pretty good throughout most of the movie if the dialogue and music volumes were reversed.

Ive had very mixed results with Metros DVDs, so I didnt really know what to expect. Initial Reaction: Pretty good. If youre in the mood for straight sex with an emphasis on anal, you could do a lot worse. Audio /Video Quality: Pretty good. The audio and video synch very well. Theres only one scene where the music is the only audio. In the remaining scenes, theres a pretty good balance between the audio tracks. There are quite a few spots throughout the feature where you can hear a lot of background chatter.

Theres virtually no plot, which Ill probably get more negative about the more I think of it, but the sex was fun enough that I didnt care while watching it. Audio /Video Quality: Surprisingly good. The picture is very clear. Theres a few glitches here and there, but the problems probably came from the master. The sound is Dolby 5.1 and quite good. Theres a few spots where theres a rumble in the background that sounded like a car was pulling up outside, but other than that, the sound is very good. There arent even any wind sounds during the outdoor scenes. Music: The music fits the movie very well, although its normally too loud.

Initial Reaction: Wow! This is a great interactive sex DVD. Audio /Video Quality: Both are excellent. Music: None Disc Problems: When run on my DVD-ROM, I could not get the blooper reel to work and the DVD would restart when several of the interactive choices were made. Review: Ive never really been impressed with the idea of a sex simulator. Maybe it comes form too many disappointments when I tried playing the simulators as a kid that were supposed to be just as good as the real thing. Maybe they were if you were a choir boy, but when I play the game where you race cars through a busy downtown area, I want the blood smear and thump that youre supposed to get when you run over little old ladies combined with the cops not being able to catch you.
