Audio Quality: Less than average, which is normal for gonzo, but this is even lower than normal gonzo.
Video Quality: Pretty average for gonzo. Some grain here and their and some focusing problems.
Music: None during the sex. A little here and there through the movie.
Initial Expectations: Pretty high. There's not many people who are known for putting out really good gonzo. Since Pussyman's been around for quite a while, I figure he probably knows what he's doing.
Initial Reaction: Wow. Summer Knight, not Pussyman.
Disc Problems: The disc is a flipper! Half way through the movie, you have to turn it over to finish it. Okay, technically this isn't a problem, but personally it is!
Review: I didn't really know what to expect when I watched 'Pussyman Takes Hollywood', but the longer I watched it, the less I cared about it. In 'Pussyman Takes Hollywood', Pussyman is out on his own. He used to have Pussy Detectives to try and find the best pussies in the world for him, but now he's on his own and is setting off with Caressa Savage to find the best pussies in the world. The plot ends there. The continuity of the plot I have no clue on. A bunch of the movie seemed like they threw the script in a blended while they where having Margaritas. Caressa's fun at first, but I got real sick of her after about the first fifteen minutes. She's great in the sex scenes, but when she's not fucking or sucking, she's got this annoying cheerleader personality with a voice that has to squeak at least twice a minute. Her personality reminded me of the girls in college who had no clue when they should stop drinking and thought everything was funny. Luckily, they decide to call Summer Knight, the original Pussywoman who hasn't done a movie in two or three years. I don't know if I would have made it through the entire movie without Summer. She has a very real feel to her, and I knew I was going to have to try and find some more of her movies after watching her for less than five minutes. There's a really great hot tub scene between Summer and Caressa. Caressa even ends up taking five fingers at one point. This is one of the hottest tub scenes I've seen.
Summer's not the only good thing in the movie, however. Jill Kelly and Nikki Sinn also show up for a couple scenes. Well, maybe one and a half scenes. The first time is just them showing Pussyman their pussy. The second scene is an all girl scene with Jill, Nikki, Caressa, and Summer (for half of it). This was the hottest scene in the movie. A lot of toys, to warn those who don't like toys, but it's still hot. To his credit, there are a LOT of nice pussies here. I don't think there's a bad one here (if there is such a thing).
Just for something different, Kristina St. James's scene is like a scene from a typical porno. Her car breaks down and she has to 'persuade' 3 guys to help her. While persuading them, all three of her holes are filled. Too bad Jill Kelly didn't watch her before she did her supposed 3 holes fulls scene in 'Car Wash Angels 2'.
The rest of the women are pretty average, however some are slightly unattractive. Holly Woods had a very goth look to her, with a pierced nose and tongue and her hair and fingernails jet black. When it came time for the cum shot, there was no way she was going to crack her mouth until it was all wiped away. I wasn't that taken with Davia Ardell, either, who appeared in the scene with Holly and Marc Wallice.
The audio and video leave a lot to be desired. The audio levels are a little off. The entire movie is a little quiet, but the music is way too loud when it appears. The video has the typical gonzo problems of poor focus in spots and a being a little grainy here and there. Worst of all, I think the cameraman may have been trying out to be an Olympic gymnast. The first few scenes, there were a lot of times when I didn't even know which way was up. I hadn't even started drinking yet. I probably should have had at least a six pack before I even put this one in.
Extras: Photo album, Behind the Scenes (15 min.), and interview with the Pussyman (8 min). The interview struck me as kind of degrading to porn. I understood his comments as he decided to use gonzo because nobody in porn can act and that almost anybody who likes to watch anal sex is partially gay. The only thing I really had to agree with him on was when he said that he was too old and that nobody would want to watch him have sex. The behind the scenes was much better, although about a third of it was watching Caressa Savage decide what to wear. There's also a little behind the scenes on the scene with Victoria Basque, and a bunch behind the scenes driving around. After watching the behind the scenes, I'm convinced that Caressa Savage was probably really drunk throughout most of the movie.
Raincoat Factor: High
Overall: The best word that I can think of to describe 'Pussyman Takes Hollywood' is forgettable. Pick this up if you're a big fan of Summer Knight or Caressa Savage. You might also want to pick it up if you're really into pussies. Other than that, I've seen a lot better gonzo from Seymore Butts, Shane, and Buttman. The audio and video are average or worse even compared to most gonzo. The interview gives a good view of David Christopher's Pussyman, and the behind the scenes is fun at times.
