Although these two are low in fat, neither really sells me on the fact that they subscribe to Muscle & Fitness. Good camera here, but the heat was fake and overacted. Such is the premise for Serenity's Roman Orgy, even if the Roman part of the orgy is rather quickly dismissed. This film is divided into two different orgies, each of about forty minutes with the same cast. The entire cast is dressed in Roman costumes, which look quite realistic, as does the Roman style set. However, this is only a pretense. There is not a drop of plot. A voice over makes mention of the Roman tradition of orgies, but there is not a word of dialogue in this film; it is 100 poure sex, and while personally, I would liked a film called A Roman Orgy to have a greater feel that this was truly in Ancient Rome, not just some actors pretending, the orgies themselves are very good. Some might say the presence of modern condoms also diminishes the moment, but I won't. The Ancients had birth control; we have some idea what it was, yet other methods are still mysteries. Perfect Directed by Michael Ninn Overall Impression I had been eagerly anticipating this production. European pornographic powerhouse Private being one of my favorite and most dependable studios and Michael Ninn being among my favorite directors I hoped their coming together might mean a marriage of all the best things American porn and European porn had to offer. Ok so my expectations were a little unrealistic. Perfect is an extremely good film, but not a great film. I was happy to see that Ninn had decided to go with widescreen. There are some phenomenal visuals and some classic Ninn sex scenes, but there are also some scenes that are way too short and unfocused. The cast is populated by a ton of veterans and rising stars, unfortunately we don't get to spend enough time with everyone. So she must handle all of the duties (desk clerk/bellhop/room service/maid/etc). This movie reminds me of the old silent comedies in that Devinn's performance is entirely physical. She doesn't speak until the last few minutes of the movie. There is a slight editing glitch at time index 0:10:56. Looks like just an abrupt cut that didn't fit together well. First up is the bachelorette party with Breena, Sabrina Love-Cox and Sandy Knight. The stripper they hired didn't show so they bribe Devinn into stripping for them. Devinn does a very good job of dancing badly. Once she is done they of course drag her onto the bed to have sex with them. This scene is not up to Devinn's usual standard's. In this movie Julia is a rich woman whose husband had her commited and she gets out of the sanitarium by screwing the doctor (not shown). She then sets out to get even with him. The movie opens with Julia being told she is going to be released the next day. As a going away present the other women (TJ Hart, Jezebelle Bond, Kristal Summers) throw her a going away party including an all girl orgy. This a hot scene in which none of the women disappoint though I wish it could have been longer. I guess this might qualify as a good couples title, but this film was not for me. However Wicked does an impressive job with the extras offering a lot more than the average DVD in this department.
