The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are excellent! The audio is clear and well balanced, and I don’t think I heard any background noises in the scenes. The video is just as good. It has a soft feel and very nice lighting. There’s a few shadows, but they feel natural every time they pop up.

Music: The music is nicely done. It has a light and fun feel, and is nicely balanced with the rest of the audio. It also comes and goes throughout the scenes, which strengthens both it and the scenes.

Menus: As usual with Wicked, the menus are nicely done. The main menu is nicely animated and fitting for the feature, while the chapter menu gives you a small clip of each scene and a chapter number.

The Feature

Although they’ve been good friends for years, and they live fairly close to each other, they’ve realized that the most fun they have seems to be when they go out of town. After a little sex, Dee and Inari decide to road trip (or would that be air trip?) to Paris to have a bit of fun, and bring Devinn alone because neither of them speak French. They mix in a bit of sightseeing along with plenty of sex as they make their way around Paris, and tell each other a few stories as well.

Scene 1 - Inari Vachs, Dee, Kristal Summers, and Joel Lawrence

After a little merlot, Joel and the ladies decide to get down to business. Inari decides to sit back and watch at first because she’s had everybody, and since Joel hasn’t had Kristal yet they get things started. The other girls help Kristal suck Joel’s cock briefly, but then form an oral sex train with Kristal and Dee in the middle. They keep the oral love flowing between them as they team up on Dee. After a bit Dee really feels the need to get fucked, but Inari makes Joel kiss her kitty before letting him have the condom he needs to fuck her. Inari sheaths his sword and then lets Kristal tongue her twat while watching Joel fuck Dee as much as she can. After Dee and Inari have orgasms at the same time, Joel moves over to eat Kristal and fuck her from behind. Finally Inari rides Joel reverse cowgirl style before decorating her great ass.

This is an excellent scene! There’s amazing chemistry throughout the entire scene, and there’s never any doubt that everybody in the scene is having a great time. There’s plenty of comments to the camera and plenty of smiles. Normally this would hold the scene back a little for me, but it fits the overall spirit of the movie so well that it takes it up another notch. This is an excellent way to start out the movie!

Scene 2 - Dee and Inari Vachs

Dee and Inari get it on in an extravagant house after a little sightseeing around Paris. They lightly play with each other as well as themselves, before getting it on with each other full bore. Inari eats out Dee first, and then lays back for Dee to eat her. Finally they collapse together and kiss.

This is another excellent scene! Dee and Inari have the same great chemistry here as in the first scene, and the masturbation tease helps to make this scene feel a bit unique. Although I always go into Dee and Inari’s scenes with high expectations, this one met them and went even further.

Scene 3 - Inari Vachs and Pat Myne

While sitting in the tub with Dee, Inari regales them with a tale about taking on Pat on a pool table. They exchange oral favors before Inari lets Pat Bone her from behind. They get in a bit of missionary as well before Pat lets go with a decent load on her stomach while Inari smiles at both him and the camera.

Not surprisingly, this is a very nice scene and gives you just what you’d expect from both of these performers. Pat delivers his normal solid performance, while Inari gets into it all and is nice and vocal. There’s no big surprises with this scene, but it works very well.

Scene 4 - Dee and Mark Anthony

Mark starts things out eating at the Y as Dee lays back for him. She gives him plenty of oral loving and a bit of stroking in return before hopping on for a long cowgirl ride. They keep things going with a bit of missionary and rear entry while Dee moans away in Spanish before she takes a decent creamy white pop across her dark stomach.

This is an okay scene. Once again there’s great chemistry, but the scene goes on a bit long and the camera work often left me cold. Most of the scene gave me the feeling that there was only about three feet around the bed where the cameraman could go, so all of the shots had to be extremely close. This held the scene back a little for me, although it did have the potential to be right up there with the others.

Scene 5 - Dominica Leoni and Lee Stone

Finally, Dominica and Lee get it on for Inari and Dee as they watch and snap pictures. They energetically kiss and exchange oral favors before Lee gives it to her missionary style. Lee picks her up and fucks her in midair as they move to cowgirl. Dominica sucks Lee a bit before letting him bury his boner in her butt. Finally, Dominica takes a nice pop in her mouth.

This is another nicely done scene. Dominica and Lee have great energy, as well as excellent chemistry. I think at the time of this scene they were either married or about to get married, and the scene has all the chemistry you’d hope to have for a real life couple. The anal action is excellent here, and although neither Inari or Dee are in the scene, it’s every bit as good as their scenes.

So often I hear that couples movies have to be slow and boring. French Kiss proves that theory to be completely bunk. Yes, there isn’t a lot of the anal and lesbian sex that people think don’t belong in true couples movies, but French Kiss captures what couples movies should be all about, chemistry. Every scene is overflowing is chemistry, and even when the camera work lacks a bit you can still tell that everybody in the movie is having an excellent time. It starts out with the group scene and works its way through to the closing anal scene. Everything is handled as if it’s perfectly natural, and never feels like it’s in there because somebody thinks they need an anal or a lesbian scene. The entire movie is about a pair of bisexual friends, and everything they do feels personal and real. Yes, there are a few minor problems, but every one of them was easily forgiven and forgotten, leaving French Kiss as an excellent and enjoyable movie.

Several photo galleries are included. First there’s the feature photo gallery, which lasts about two minutes. Star galleries are also included for Dee, Inari Vachs, and Kristal Summers, which last between a minute and a quarter and two minutes apiece. There’s also star stats for the ladies, as well as Joel Lawrence, Pat Myne, and Mark Stone, which give a little personal information and a link to the star’s scene as well as a few photos of the star.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Wicked’s DVDs can be found online for between $15 and $30 with many stores offering them for around $21. I wouldn’t worry about the price too much on this one with how enjoyable it is. The sex is great, as are the technical aspects. The extras are pretty standard, but Wicked goes the extra mile even on it’s standard extras.

Note to Wicked Pictures: It would be nice to have a few more chapter breaks on your DVDs.
