China Girl is a great feature film to have come from the 1970s featuring a fun plot, nice sex scenes, and good acting. Fans of plotted feature films should find a lot to like here. Vinegar Syndrome has done an excellent job with their release of China Girl with an absolutely stellar image and audio. The release is light on extras, however, the quality of the film on the release is worth the purchase alone. [read the full review]

review from 10/10/2018:
A seemingly virginal, though certainly troubled, young woman, Rosemary (played by Sharon Thorpe), finds herself both unable to have sex unless in impersonal situations and also swirling further and further into madness, particularly upon the death of her estranged father. Where this disturbed path that her troubled psyche takes her upon will ultimately lead is anyone's guess, but one thing is for certain, and that's that it will be dark...and sexual. Such is the case in "Baby Rosemary", a bizarre, though very good, re-release of a 1976 Howard Perkins film by Vinegar Syndrome. [read the full review]

Edward D. Wood, Jr., likely would have been surprised to know that in 2017 viewers would still be seeking out the adult film loops made by him had he known he probably would have kept better track of them on his résumé. Ed's Wood Volume 2: Get Your Wood On is CineFear Video's second compilation of loops believed to have been directed by Wood. Fans of Wood's work will likely enjoy this volume as much as the first. CineFear Video has done an acceptable job with their manufacture on demand edition of Ed's Wood Volume 2: Get Your Wood On with poor framing of the video and other video issues present. The Fugitives is a rather bad essentially softcore roughie from 1970 from an uncredited director. The plot is really bad and the softcore sex scenes aren't very well-done either. Rick L. Blalock's
review from 6/28/2017:
Writer/Director Kemal Horulu's 1983 drama-thriller, NEVER SLEEP ALONE, begins with an ominous tone right out of the gate. This as the camera captures a scene outside of a court building, where all we can hear are the ongoing proceedings of a trial. It is then that the film takes us back in time to chronicle the life of Lisa Alexander"(Tina Marie) and her husband "Dan Alexander"(John Leslie). Lisa and Dan, maintain an unconventional lifestyle. They are swingers, and often go to parties thrown by their neighbor "Diana"(Honey Wilder) at a local club called "Plato's Retreat", where basically anything goes, when it comes to sex. Both Lisa and Dan are very open in their relationship and are allowed to have relations with others, however, they have but one rule. They are not to sleep with each other's friends. This is something that they have been able to manage. However, soon, things get complicated, when Dan begins to have eyes for Diana's new roommate, "Natalie"(Joanna Storm). [read the full review]

review from 11/6/2017:
Jim and Artie Mitchell's Sodom and Gomorrah: The Last Seven Days is a truly bizarre adult film that tries to combine the story of Lot from Genesis with space aliens with disastrous results. The film boasts high production values but the pacing in the film is off, the story is ludicrous, and the sex scenes are extremely lacking. Sodom and Gomorrah: The Last Seven Days is an easy film to pass on. The fourth entry into the popular TABOO series, TABOO IV: THE YOUNGER GENERATION is a 1985 film, centering around Dr. Jeremy Lodge(Jamie Gillis), a Psychologist specializing in incest. Vice Vs Vice sadly has no redeeming qualities as an adult film. It is just one of many cheaply churned out bad adult films that no one expected to live past the film reels all deteriorating. Oral Generation review summaries:
fu_q's
review from 10/4/2020:
The particular value of Vinegar Syndrome's re-master and reissue of "The Oral Generation" is primarily a historical one. Indeed, this film provides a fairly unique window back to the past and the early days of the industry's inception. Presented as a documentary--which was typical for such early releases due to obscenity standards of the era--this production offers up a mix of educational material and commentary. The principal focus is upon oral sex--still something of a taboo in 1970--and its value to couples, particularly women. [read the full review]

Horny honkin' and bumpkin bangin', all served up with a hillbilly bent, ensue when two kinky, country cousins (Cousin Bubba and Cousin Bobby Sue, a.k.a. Shelby Stevens) make their way to San Francisco to check out the permissive strip club scene there. Of course, along the way, the viewer is "treated" (term used lightly) to various sexual episodes, none of which are spectacularly exciting. Such is the case in the ill-conceived "Cousin Bubba 2: Country Corn Porn", a tepid release from Gourmet Video and "director" Uncle Kurtis. [read the full review]

Taboo 2 / Taboo 3 (Vinegar Syndrome Blu-Ray) review summaries:
Flash's
review from 12/20/2016:
Taboo 2, while not as good as Kirdy Stevens' original Taboo, is an enjoyable feature adult film. The cast does an amazing job with their sex scenes and do a great job with the non-sexual scenes. Taboo 3, on the other hand, is a massive let down with a poor story that does little to connect with the first two films and seems like just an attempt to cash in on the Taboo name. Most viewers likely won't have any interest seeing the film more than once. Taboo 2 makes this release worth picking up. Vinegar Syndrome has done a great job with this release. Taboo 2 has some issues with the video and audio but is still the best release of Taboo 2 on the market and Taboo 3 looks absolutely stunning. [read the full review]

Taboo is one of the true adult classics from the golden age of adult films. Taboo combines a tawdry tale of family love with a great cast, good story, and an overall nice looking production to create a film that has stood the test of time in the annals of adult films. If you haven't seen it, Taboo is a must see and if you already own one of the previous releases that have come out, this release is an easy upgrade. Edward D. Wood, Jr.'s involvement in the adult film industry has always fascinated this reviewer. CineFear Video's Ed Wood's 8mm Porn Loops collects 12 Swedish Erotica 8mm adult film loops that are believed to have been written and directed by Wood and presents them for viewers who are looking to see some of Wood's short subject adult work. Fans of 8mm adult film loops should find this to be an enjoyable compilation of loops whereas viewers who prefer feature-style adult movies or general fans of Wood's mainstream output are less likely to find this to be a worthy addition to their collection. CineFear Video has done an acceptable job with their DVD-MOD release of Ed Wood's 8mm Porn Loops with some framing and other video issues. [read the full review]

Two couples (Eve, Jane, Kane and Able!!!) head out in their trailer to the Garden of Eden campsite for a weekend of fun, sun, and sex. Unfortunately for them, the violent biker gang The Cobras is nearby and immediately makes trouble for our unfortunate campers whod much rather be swimming, fishing, or playing topless solitaire. When Eve is assaulted and kidnapped after skinny-dipping in Lake Shangri-La, the others try to find her only to get captured themselves! What follows is trademark 70s sleaze! In an isolated cave equipped with an air mattress, the girls are drugged and violated, the men are tied up, and it all ends in a violent, bloody confrontation with tomahawk wielding biker chicks that comes completely out of nowhere. Vinegar Syndrome's All Night at the Po-No is a collection of 12 quickly and cheaply made early 70s Los Angeles made adult films. A lot of what is presented here after one viewing you will never want to view again. There are a few others that will stand up to repeated viewings. Vinegar Syndrome wisely decided to make the cost not to expensive so it doesn't matter that a lot of the films presented here are duds. The few winners make up for it. The transfers aren't up to Vinegar Syndrome's usual standards but all the films are watchable. Vinegar Syndrome did miss the mark a little on the disc authoring and the extras included. If you like adult films from the transitional period from softcore to when hardcore films started getting actual budgets, you'll want to check this set out. [read the full review]

When a big-time, 1920's gangster's (Harry Reems') whiny girlfriend (Cara Lott) hits the road, he's quick to find another main squeeze in the form of a fresh-off-the-bus cigarette girl (Ginger Lynn) at one of his clubs. Unfortunately for Harry, while Ginger has all of the requisite physical attributes (...and then some...) to meet his picky standards, she's a bit too innocent and proper for his low-brow tastes. What's a guy to do when faced with such dire circumstances? Well...employ his incarcerated buddy's, and fellow gangster's (Herschel Savage's), tawdry girlfriend (Amber Lynn) to train her, of course. What could possibly go wrong, right? Such is the case in "Trashy Lady", an exceptional re-release of director Steve Scott's 1985 masterpiece from Vinegar Syndrome. [read the full review]

Klark, the "Star Virgin" and stereotypical, horny blonde bimbo to the max, is life's last chance...which means that it's pretty much fucked...or, at a minimum, fucking.
