The technical aspects are pretty average but the extras show a touch of effort with a very nice behind the scenes featurette. That's not enough to save this one, however, so save yourself some time and pass it by.

Review brief: With so much porn available on the Net, the only justification for buying physical media these days is the superior picture and audio they can offer. Why else spend the extra cash, and why else take up precious shelf space? Though I was hoping for DVD-caliber visuals in this release, I was hit instead with a nasty surprise. Of the four scenes on this disc, only two are watchablethe first and the fourth. Scenes two and three are riddled with the worst case of aliasing I have ever seen in a DVD image. The sound is equally patchy, typical of MeanBitch productions. The content is standard fare for this series: nubile bitches receiving copious amounts of oral stimulation. However, with the exception of Sydnee Capri, the performers here dont do as much trash talking as one might see, or rather hear, in this genre. Scene one kicks off with Angelina Ashe, who has a luscious rump, the camera generously showcasing it as she gets her cunt and anus polished by an eager tongue.

That being said, this release has the very hot and tasty Katie St. Ives in it along with Aiden Starr and Charlotte Vale. The problem with this is that the high brow art aspect of the release completely kills it. IMHO, it sure seems like the majority of the film is shot through a rectangular magnifying glass, completely killing any inclination to view it. At this point, it becomes completely unwatchable.

Review brief: If Eon McKais aim in putting together Eyelashes were to create an utterly unwatchable adult film, then one could call this endeavor a success. Under any other measure of accomplishment, however, this production outright fails. While I recognize that McKais tendency is toward being more artistic and establishing a unique look for his adult filmsand, as such, I have taken this into account somewhat positively in prior reviewsit has always been a noted concern of mine that he was being artsy simply for the sake of appearing edgy, different, and deep. Along these lines, I have always been concerned that this would one day take his work too far and ruin its value as an adult-oriented product. In Eyelashes, this is indeed what has finally transpired. Sowhat kills (literally) this movie as an adult film? The actresses are fine. The actors are fine. The sex, on the whole, even appears to be fine. Sure, the colors are drab, the sets are dull, the angles are sometimes awkward, the cuts are jumpy, and the camerawork is often jittery and jerky.

Review brief: "Savannah: The Lost Footage" is advertised as a "tribute" to one of the true stars in the history of adult films, Savannah. Released a bit after the 15 year anniversary of her tragic passing, this movie promises her fans a renewed look at the actress via offering up some rare footage. Sadly, these promises are largely empty, as the DVD is full not with the "4 Hours of the 'Legendary Savannah'" displayed on the front of the disc, but instead with fifteen scenes--only three of which actually feature the star. In all, the only reason that this DVD received any stars here is due to Savannah. The fact that only three of fifteen scenes include her is shameful. The claims of "4 hours" when there are barely over three is also inexcusable. The lack of a Main Menu and any type of bonuses is unfortunate, as well. I would avoid this disc unless you are the most avid Savannah fan imaginable and have to have everything that she has done. Indeed, Savannah deserves much better than this.

Review brief: So this is the future of black porn huh................................well it was nice while it lasted people. We had incredible performers who took ahold of the scene and blew you away time after time. It was a pleasure watching the Janet Jacmes, Angel Kelly, Jordan McKnight, Crown Princess all the way up to the Pinky's, Roxy Reynolds and Ayana Angel. Now we have this shit. Listen I don't like tearing apart movies but some people and clearly studios(wait til I get to the other Black Ice movie I seen) deserve it. Someone needs to tell these guys that shit like this just doesn't cut it. Now I will admit there were a couple of girls here I wouldn't mind seeing again, but damn man this movie was just bad, not bad meaning good I mean bad meaning bad. No long drawn out review here, its just one long orgy with a ass shake segment, a bj segment, a half assed fuck segment and a bullshit pop segment.

Review brief: With so much porn available on the Net, the only justification for buying physical media these days is the superior picture and audio they can offer. Why else spend the extra cash, and why else take up precious shelf space? Though I was hoping for DVD-caliber visuals in this release, I was hit instead with a nasty surprise. Of the four scenes on this disc, only two are watchablethe first and the fourth. Scenes two and three are riddled with the worst case of aliasing I have ever seen in a DVD image. The sound is equally patchy, typical of MeanBitch productions. The content is standard fare for this series: nubile bitches receiving copious amounts of oral stimulation. However, with the exception of Sydnee Capri, the performers here dont do as much trash talking as one might see, or rather hear, in this genre. Scene one kicks off with Angelina Ashe, who has a luscious rump, the camera generously showcasing it as she gets her cunt and anus polished by an eager tongue.

Review brief: Im not going to dwell too much on Eyelashes from Vivid-Alt as its one of those releases that tries to be high brow art instead of what it is, porn. That being said, this release has the very hot and tasty Katie St. Ives in it along with Aiden Starr and Charlotte Vale. The problem with this is that the high brow art aspect of the release completely kills it. IMHO, it sure seems like the majority of the film is shot through a rectangular magnifying glass, completely killing any inclination to view it. At this point, it becomes completely unwatchable.

Review brief: If Eon McKais aim in putting together Eyelashes were to create an utterly unwatchable adult film, then one could call this endeavor a success. Under any other measure of accomplishment, however, this production outright fails. While I recognize that McKais tendency is toward being more artistic and establishing a unique look for his adult filmsand, as such, I have taken this into account somewhat positively in prior reviewsit has always been a noted concern of mine that he was being artsy simply for the sake of appearing edgy, different, and deep. Along these lines, I have always been concerned that this would one day take his work too far and ruin its value as an adult-oriented product. In Eyelashes, this is indeed what has finally transpired. Sowhat kills (literally) this movie as an adult film? The actresses are fine. The actors are fine. The sex, on the whole, even appears to be fine. Sure, the colors are drab, the sets are dull, the angles are sometimes awkward, the cuts are jumpy, and the camerawork is often jittery and jerky.

Review brief: "Savannah: The Lost Footage" is advertised as a "tribute" to one of the true stars in the history of adult films, Savannah. Released a bit after the 15 year anniversary of her tragic passing, this movie promises her fans a renewed look at the actress via offering up some rare footage. Sadly, these promises are largely empty, as the DVD is full not with the "4 Hours of the 'Legendary Savannah'" displayed on the front of the disc, but instead with fifteen scenes--only three of which actually feature the star. In all, the only reason that this DVD received any stars here is due to Savannah. The fact that only three of fifteen scenes include her is shameful. The claims of "4 hours" when there are barely over three is also inexcusable. The lack of a Main Menu and any type of bonuses is unfortunate, as well. I would avoid this disc unless you are the most avid Savannah fan imaginable and have to have everything that she has done. Indeed, Savannah deserves much better than this.

Review brief: This is a pretty easy release to pass by. Candy and Lexi Diamond turn out nice scenes, but most of the movie is easy to forget and due to weak authoring my extremely reliable player repeatedly locked up during the first scene. The technical aspects are pretty average, but as usual with Homegrown releases the extras are very generic and don't even deliver what the cover claims. This release had a little potential, and then did nothing to it while shooting itself in the foot not delivering what it claims.

Living alone in her stately mansion, she attracts the most fascinating men and women to her estate, where seemingly bound her aberrant desires, they eagerly give themselves sexually to her and to each other." I like Annette Haven, she has done some excellent films and this description captured my interest. The only part of this description I recognized after viewing the film was "almost supernatural."
