Production Date: 1988 Director: Candida Royalle and Veronica Hart Cast: Jeanna Fine, Randy Paul, Alexis Firestone, and Rugby Rhodes The Short Story Initial Expectations: So far Candidas movies have affected my consciousness more than my libido, and it normally tried running away from me faster than a turpentined cat. Needless to say, Im not looking forward to this one even with Veronica Hart being behind the camera for half of it. Initial Reaction: Its okay, but far from special. Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting plot, tease, and as little visible cum as possible Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting a scene that closes feeling like the sex is actually done The Technical Stuff Audio /Video Quality: For a feature thats approaching twenty years old, the technical aspects are very well done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I dont think I noticed any background noises. Music: The music is a bit loud, but has a very sexy feel that works very well.

The video is nicely lit and has a soft feeling. You can tell that some of the feature was shot with a handheld camera, but thats also part of the appeal of Lucs movies. Theres also several soft focus blurs and a bit of slightly inconsistent lighting. Music: The music has a soft feeling, but is often a bit on the loud side.

Initial Reaction: It didnt come close to fulfilling my appetite. Who Should Watch It : Anybody who wants an emphasis on food rather than sex Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting a lot of sex Audio /Video Quality: For the first half of the first scene, the music is the only audio. After that, you can hear the performers clearly. There arent many background noises or anything else that interferes with the audio badly, although there are a few areas where there is a bit of a hiss in the background. The video is nicely lit, but theres some minor grain to it thats even throughout the movie and a few areas with some pixelation popping in and soft focus problems. Music: Theres only music in the first scene.

Im hoping this is another of those features. Initial Reaction: Theres some decent sex, but Nick Orleans should be neither seen nor heard! Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting anal sex on the slightly artistic side Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants smooth flowing scenes or a movie with a heavy butt or anal focus Audio /Video Quality: The audio leaves a bit to be desired. Its normally clear, but the balance is also off slightly. The audio also doesnt seem to synch quite right with the video in several places. The video is slightly soft, and has just a hint of graininess. The lighting is pretty good, although there are a few places where it seems to fluctuate a little, but theres more than a few soft focus problems.

I think I feel a fever coming on! Initial Reaction: Its pretty good, but nothing mind blowing. Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting softer porn with a nice variety of scenes and not much plot Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting an extremely soft and romantic feature Audio /Video Quality: The audio is pretty clear and well balanced. There arent any background noises, but there were a couple spots where it seemed just a little scratchy. The video is much the same. It has a soft feeling, showing just a little grain, and a few shadows as well. Neither the grain nor the shadows interfere much, and actually give the feature a bit of an artistic feeling at times. Music: The music is fairly typical porno music, but it also works in some softer styles very nicely.

The audio is clear and well balanced, and I didnt notice a single background noise. The video is much the same. Its nicely lit, and even uses shadows to its advantage in one scene, and has very little grain. Music: The music is soft and sexy. It varies in style a little throughout the movie, and enhances every scene. Menus: The menus are decently done.

Theres some noticeable pixelation, which is just beyond looking slightly grainy. Theres also a few remnants that pop up now and then.

The audio is a bit hollow, but its well balanced and free of background noises. The video has a bit of grain and more than a few shadows, and looks fairly close to VHS quality. Although I normally have higher expectations than this for DVD movies, with the movie approaching twenty years old Im pretty happy with the presentation here. Music: The music has a soft and often fun feeling that seems pretty neutral.
