The Short Story

Initial Expectations: Amateur Angels has been a pretty decent new talent series so far, so I have some decent hopes for this episode.

Initial Reaction: A couple of the scenes flounder, but most of this one is excellent!

Who Should Watch It : Couples who don’t want to bother with the plot

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting to see how nasty some fresh talent can get.

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are fairly average. The audio is clear, but sometimes a little off balance. There’s also a few very noticeable background noises. The video has some noticeable grain, but it’s even and the action is decently lit.

Music: None

Disc Complaints: As happened so often when Fallen Angel and Adam & Eve teamed up, there’s no time stamp. There’s also the extremely large hot shot icon which you can’t turn off. These things always ticks me off, but since I think they’ve fixed these problems in their current releases I’m not going to whine about it here.

Menus: The menus are okay. The main menu is unanimated and the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene.

The Feature

Luc Wylder, one of the nicest guys in the adult industry, hosts Amateur Angels. Although the girls aren’t quite amateurs in most cases (there’s a lot of familiar faces in the series), they’re all relatively new. Luc interviews each of the lovely ladies, and then lets them show what they can do.

Scene 1 – Anni Body and Mickey G.

Anni Body, an okay looking redhead, starts things out with Mickey G. They strip down and Mickey lets his tongue work over Anni’s twat and toes before she slobbers his knob. They work through a few of the common positions, such as missionary, reverse cowgirl, and doggie. Finally, Mickey gives Anni an impressive blast of ball butter across her tits to finish things up.

This is an okay scene. There was something about Anni that I really didn’t care from right from the start, so I had a hard time getting past that to get into the scene. The lighting was also a bit funky at times, which kept me distracted enough that I couldn’t get into the scene too well.

Scene 2 – Holly Hollywood and Nikki Love

Next up is Nikki Love, a raven haired beauty, and Holly Hollywood, a natural brunette and well known gash-master. Holly starts out working the newbie over, starting at her tits and then working down to her feet and pussy. She licks Nikki and then works her over with a toy before letting Nikki reciprocate. Nikki doesn’t rove around nearly as much as Holly, and concentrates on her pussy using her tongue and a dildo, all the way until Holly squirts.

It’s an extremely hot scene that’s a real winner! The girls have some great chemistry together and never really seem to hold back throughout the entire scene while having the time of their life. This scene has been included on several times in Adam & Eve’s compilations and as bonus scenes, and it’s easy to see why!

Scene 3 – Ashley Love and Eric Masterson

Cute brunette Ashley Love gets it on with Eric Masterson in the third scene. She lets Eric kiss her before he works on her bald beaver with his tongue and finger. Ashley sucks Eric’s cock a little, giving him some good eyes, before laying back and letting him give it to her. They work through a couple other positions before Eric decorates Ashley’s nice and natural tits and seals the deal with a kiss.

Ashley is great to look at and has a very nice body, but that’s about it. Every now and then it seemed like she was into it, but most of the time she looked about as enthusiastic as if she was told she had to give Ron Jeremy a sponge bath with her tongue. She’s a little vocal, but rarely gives a smile and her eyes are even more dead than David Spade’s career. Keep the remote handy here as this is easily the worst scene in the feature. With her looks Ashley would be great for magazine layouts, but I don’t care if I ever see Ashley in another movie.

Scene 4 – Kelly Warner and Michael Mateo

Very cute Wisconsin native Kelly Warner takes on Michael Mateo next. Kelly, who looks absolutely smoking in a dressy white see through shirt, plaid skirt, and white fishnets, eagerly attacks Michael’s cock orally to start things out. Michael tongues her ass in return before fucking Kelly from behind on the couch and the floor. Kelly finishes Michael off with a footjob before he decorates her fishnet-clad feet.

This scene leaves me with mixed feelings. On one side, Kelly is extremely impressive. She has just the right amount of trash talking and really looks like she’s into everything here sexually as well as having a spunky personality that makes me want to see much more of her. On the other side, Michael looks like his regular job is holding up a cardboard box with “Will Work For Food” wrote on it. The camera work also lacks a little, as you barely get to see his tongue work around Kelly’s sphincter or the footjob. This should have been an extremely hot scene, but ends up barely making it above average and feeling way too short.

Scene 5 – Amanda and John West

Cute brunette Amanda takes on John West in the penultimate scene. She starts out giving John a nice hummer, complete with a little stroking and a few eyes, before obviously getting into his tonguing of her twat. She continues to lay back for John to give it to her missionary style, before they spoon and fuck doggie style. John brings things to a complete close by decorating Amanda’s great ass.

This is easily one of the best scenes in the feature! Amanda is obviously enjoying herself the entire scene, and it comes across extremely well. Best yet, the camera captures her as well as one could hope, leaving this scene with a great and fresh feeling.

Scene 6 – Margo and Kyle Stone

Finally, Oregon native Margo brings things to a close with the help of Kyle Stone. Margo shows off her killer legs and ass during Luc’s interview before letting Kyle go to work tonguing her bald beaver. Margo returns Kyle’s oral favors, and gives him a few nice smiles and looks as she does before she slides herself onto his cock reverse cowgirl style before giving her legs a rest in the standard cowgirl. Kyle also gives it to her doggie style before Margo lets him blow his nutty goodness on her excellent ass.

Margo finishes things off with some very nice style. She’s obviously enjoying herself, and puts some nice energy into the scene as well. She moans pleasurably throughout most of the scene, and even lets go with a few smiles. This is a very realistic feeling scene with plenty of obvious enjoyment for Margo and Kyle, as well as me while I watched it.

Amateur Angels 3 is a decent fresh talent all sex feature. The scenes start out nicely with Luc’s interviews, and as always Luc comes across as very welcoming and caring. The sex, however, varies. Some of the scenes, such as the scenes with Holly and Nikki, Kelly, and Amanda, show great enjoyment and a real love for sex. Ashley and Anni’s scenes, however, struck me the opposite way and I couldn’t get into them at all. The camera work didn’t work for me many times through the series, but it captured things well enough that I could normally get into the scenes. In the end, the strengths of Amateur Angels 3 far outweigh the weaknesses, and it ends up an nicely done all sex couples feature.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts four and a half minutes with about five seconds per okay looking snapshot or full screen photo. Trailers are included for Sex Across America: 1st Stop Las Vegas, Sex Across America Third Stop: San Francisco, Amateur Angels 1, and Forbidden Lust. There’s also a behind the scenes featurette and web links.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts nearly fifty minutes! You get to see a little of the preparation for the scenes, such as Luc talking with the girls and the still photos being taken, before seeing some of the scenes being shot. You also get to see some of the screwing around after the scenes and between scenes, such as the cast and crew sitting around and talking during lunch. As usual, it’s a very nice behind the scenes featurette, and unlike the behind the scenes featurettes you see from some other companies, you get to see some of every scene in the feature. You get to see some of the making of the movie, as well as a lot of the personality of the performers in it. This is a very nice behind the scenes feature!

The Bottom Line:

Currently, much of the Amateur Angels series can be found online for between $13 and $22 with a few stores offering it near the low end. The low end is a very fair price here. A couple of the scenes stumble, but the other four are very satisfying. The technical aspects lack a little at times, but there’s a nice and long behind the scenes feature in the extras that help make this a very good DVD.

Note to Fallen Angel / Adam & Eve: As usual for these early Fallen Angel / Adam & Eve ventures, a little more attention to the technical aspects would have gone a long way!
