Initial Expectations: This has been a fun gonzo series. I’m hoping for another nice addition.

Initial Reaction: It’s okay, but nothing too special.

Who Should Watch It : Couples wanting chemistry above all else

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting the fun sightseeing adventure the series brought in its early episodes.

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is okay. The performers are well balanced, but there’s a fair amount of wind and background noise which is very obvious. The video is much better. There’s a hint of grain but it’s even out to the edges. There’s a few soft focus blurs and other minor problems, such as shadows when the scenes are outside, but there’s very little about the video which got in the way of my enjoying the feature.

Music: The music is pretty typical porn music, but is nicely balanced with the rest of the audio.

Disc Complaints: Once again my biggest pet peeve rears its ugly head. There’s no time stamp here, which means that you can’t jump directly to any point in the movie. It’s my understanding that this takes virtually no money or effort, so this always ticks me off. There’s also the Hot Shot Icon which appears in the lower right corner, which is large and obtrusive as it pops in and out, and more importantly you can’t shut it off! Thankfully neither of these things are something I’m seeing much of out of Adam & Eve any more!

Menus: The menus look pretty nice. The main menu has a cheesy but fun feeling. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene.

The Feature: The Sex Across America series takes a group of porn stars, and often their real life partners, to visit a well known city, in this case, staying home for most of them with Los Angeles. It often acts as a bit of a travelogue as the group wanders around, and in between they have plenty of sex and hosts Luc Wylder and Alexandra Silk make sure you get to know everybody.

Sandy Knight and Franki Rose start things out teaming up on Tyce Bune. Tyce lays back in a pool chair as the girls pleasure him orally before Sandy lets Franki ride Tyce. She plays with Franki a little while she’s getting fucked before riding Tyce’s tongue. Sandy takes a turn riding Tyce before they each let him fuck them in another position. Finally, Tyce pops on Sandy’s ass before they spread a little oral love around.

This is a great start to the movie! Franki is okay, but Sandy more than makes up for it with her enthusiasm, energy, and vocals. She really drives the scene, and made it a winner for me. This is easily one of the best scenes in the entire feature.

Nikita Denise and Colt Steele get it on next. Nikita starts out giving Colt a heaping helping of oral love before he returns the favor. They move through several positions on the deck, with Colt surprisingly avoiding Nikita’s ass until he drops his load on it.

This is another nicely done scene. There’s great chemistry and some nice energy between Nikita and Colt, but it never gets close to the hard edge that Nikita rides so well. That said, there’s enough chemistry and obvious enjoyment here that it isn’t needed.

Sabrina Johnson and John Decker, who looks like his current home might be a van down by the river, get it on next. Sabrina starts things out with some nice knob gobbling before letting John tongue her doubly pierced pussy. Sabrina rides John before letting him fuck her in a couple other positions, including poking her ass, before decorating her ass.

This seems like a fairly forgettable scene to me. Sabrina gets into it nicely, including some okay vocals, but John looks like he’s just there for the check. The camera seems like it’s trying to avoid him, and I really can’t blame it from everything I saw of him in the scene. I know that makes the scene sound horrible, and it isn’t a horrible scene, it’s just so bland and kind of pointless that I couldn’t get into it and had a very hard time caring about it.

Next up, Luc Wylder gets the oral pleasure of both Sandy Knight and Alexandra Silk in the back seat of a limo. Sandy starts out working on Luc’s balls while Alexandra gets the shaft, but since Alexandra can get plenty of Luc’s man meat at home she lets Sandy have more than her fair share here. Finally, Luc deposits his dick droppings on Sandy’s augmented melons.

This is a fun scene with a lot of chemistry. Sandy and Alexandra are normally fun and enthusiastic performers, and it’s no different here. Yes, it’s only an oral scene, but it’s still nice to see Luc get in front of the camera a bit.

Alexandra Silk and Herschel Savage get busy for the penultimate scene on a fountain in front of one of the nicer houses in LA. Herschel works Alex over with his tongue and fingers before letting her mouth his meat. Alexandra has to run back to the car for rubbers, and slides one on Herschel before letting him slide it into her from behind. Alexandra also rides Herschel before taking his spooge spray on her tits.

This is another okay scene. As always, Alexandra looks like she’s having a great time, and she almost always has a smile on her face. Herschel, however, looks like he ran out of Geritol. The camera catches him a little, but doesn’t seem overly wild about him.

Finally, Lee Stone takes on Zana. Lee works over Zana’s lower lips before she wraps her upper ones around his manhood to make sure he’s ready to take her like she wants. Lee bones Zana missionary style before having her turn around so he can fuck both her pussy from behind while she does her best impression of grinding gears. Zana rolls onto her side for Lee to ream her rectum before moving back to her back for him to finish it up and pop on her nicely implanted tits.

As usual, Zana makes things fun to watch. There’s no denying her enthusiasm, and she manages to trash talk extremely well between moans. She’s clearly into what Lee does to her, and I’m surprised she hasn’t killed somebody sexually yet! That said, this scene seemed a little restrained compared to what I’m used to from her. I’m not sure what it is, as she and Lee had nice chemistry and energy, but something seemed just a little off.

Sadly, Sex Across America: Seventh Stop Los Angeles didn’t quite live up to the rest of the series. The traveling aspect is pretty much thrown away here, leaving only a few moments. Although there’s some decent chemistry in the scenes, this left this episode feeling kind of soulless to me. The sex also seemed fairly bland, partially because the cameras seemed like they didn’t want to admit that men were involved in the scenes. I’m not saying I want a huge focus on the guys, but a balance always helps scenes out for me. Overall, Sex Across America: Seventh Stop Los Angeles is a pretty average feature.

Extras: The slide show lasts about six minutes with about seven seconds per grainy looking snapshot or full screen photo. Trailers are included for Amateur Angels 1, Forbidden Lust, and Sex Across America: Seventh Stop Los Angeles. Bios are included for the entire female cast, and include a little personal information as well as a photo of the star. There’s also a behind the scenes featurette and web links.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts over forty minutes and is very nicely done! You get a great mix of the scenes being shot and the cast screwing around behind the scenes. You also get to see some of the business end of things, such as Tyce Bune checking out the HIV tests to see which testing method was used because he doesn’t trust some as well as others. Unlike many of the other episodes of this series, I think you get to see more of the personality of the performers here than you do in the movie. It really makes this a great behind the scenes featurette, and I think I might have enjoyed it even more than the movie.

Overall: Currently, most of the Sex Across America series can be found online for between $7 and $22 with stores offering them all over the price range. At the low end this is a pretty good buy. The sex is okay, but fairly bland. The technical aspects are also pretty average, but there’s a very nice behind the scenes feature in the extras.

Note to Adam & Eve / Fallen Angel: I used to wonder why this series died off. As it goes on I’m starting to understand as I see the change in focus for the scenes.
