Initial Expectations: Adam & Eve has done a good job with many of their compilations, which gives me some decent hope for this DVD.

Initial Reaction: It’s one of the best compilations I’ve seen from Adam & Eve.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody who wants to see a little of the stars as people as well as them fucking

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants all behind the scenes action or nastier than usual action

Audio /Video Quality: As with all compilations, the technical aspects vary a bit from scene to scene, but there isn’t that much variation here. The audio is normally clear and well balanced, and there’s barely any background noises. The video has a little more variation. There’s some noticeable grain in some scenes, but they’re normally well lit.

Music: As with the technical aspects, the music in compilations vary from scene to scene. In some scenes there’s no music, while in others it comes close to drowning out the performers.

Disc Complaints: There’s no time stamp here, which always ticks me off. I think this is one of the DVDs which was done in-house at Adam & Eve, and I’ve been told by somebody there that their equipment doesn’t allow them to put a time stamp on. Most companies would have just blown off my comments about the time stamp, although I’m not happy with the answer, I am impressed that Adam & Eve let me know why my dislike is still appearing.

Menus: The menus are okay. There’s some animation in the main menu that didn’t do much for me, and the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a chapter number.

The Feature: Hitting It From Behind is another entry in Adam & Eve’s string of compilations. This time the focus is on the making of the movies and the stars. Each scene starts with a clip of the behind the scenes featurette from a movie and then finishes things up with the actual scene from the movie. In a great touch that always impresses me, you’re told what the movie is and who the stars are for each scene.

Things start out on the set of Unforgettable with an interview with Jenna Haze. Afterwards, it moves into her scene with Chris Cannon. Chris pulls Jenna’s bikini aside to eat her in the middle of a small bridge over the pool and then lets Jenna drop down and reciprocate with her amazing oral skills. They move to the pool chairs, where they appear to fuck doggie style through the afternoon, through the night, and into the next day from the lighting changes. Chris also takes Jenna missionary style before decorating her pretty face. It’s an energetic scene with okay chemistry, but something seemed to be missing for me. Jenna really got into it, but Chris just seemed to be kinda there at times. The camera work also seemed a little off at times, almost as if the cameraman was trying to shoot for a full screen aspect ratio rather than the widescreen ratio.

Things stop at The Flesh Game next for a little talk with Evan Stone, a little scene prep, and a little of the scene being shot. Afterwards, Jessica takes on Evan Stone and Randy Spears in a bed covered with leaves. They work their way around each other orally, with most of the action being Jessica working over the guys and having them push her head down and guide her as she sucks the other guy. Jessica keeps a cock in her mouth and her pussy as the guys fuck her, and even lets them DP her before giving her a massive double facial. This scene leaves me with mixed emotions. Jessica does a great job of taking on Evan and Randy, and really seems to be into both of them, but the camera work seemed to lack a bit here. There was a lot of blurring and quite a few shots where you couldn’t see Jessica’s reaction to getting boned. You only get to see her reaction to the DP for a few seconds when the penetration is also shown, which is something I always want to see rather than cutting back and forth between the penetration and the girl’s face.

Next up is Nikki Love, a raven haired beauty, and Holly Hollywood, a natural brunette and well known gash-master and their scene from Amateur Angels 3. Before things get to the main action, Nikki talks about doing her first girl girl. There’s also a little of the scene being shot and a few afterthoughts. Holly starts out the sex working the newbie over, starting at her tits and then working down to her feet and pussy. She licks Nikki and then works her over with a toy before letting Nikki reciprocate. Nikki doesn’t rove around nearly as much as Holly, and concentrates on her pussy using her tongue and a dildo, all the way until Holly squirts. This is another excellent scene that hits basically everywhere it should.

Valentino takes on Summer Storm and Alexandra Silk in a scene from Sex Across America Sixth Stop: Hawaii for the fourth scene. Before the action, though, the crew goes Marlin fishing, goes out for dinner, and has some fun shopping. Afterwards, Alex sucks Valentino while Summer eats her both her holes from behind, which I guess shows you just how good Alex tastes after the two of them getting it on in the hotel with Luc. Valentino fucks Alexandra in a couple positions as she balances herself on the nearby tree trunks and branches while Summer continues to play with her. I love it when everybody in a group scene seems to be really into everybody else, and although it’s not quite like that here, it’s close enough to feel unique yet done well.

Crystal Dreams and starts with shooting a few photos, a little talk with Lexington Steele, a little makeup, and a little rehearsal between Lexington Steele and Chloe. Oddly, the scene is between Mickey G. and Chloe rather than Lexington Steele and Chloe. Chloe starts by giving Mickey a little head and then they go straight to fucking. As one would expect from these two, it’s a pretty good scene complete with Chloe’s wild orgasms and some good ass fucking. They also have pretty good chemistry, which also helps things out. Mickey finishes by blowing his load across Chloe’s chest. It’s a nice scene , but nothing really great.

After an interview with each of the girls, Gina Ryder and Ava Vincent take on Taylor St. Claire and Dale DaBone in a scene from After Midnight. Ava starts things out with Dale’s face between her thighs. After a bit, Taylor and Gina slowly join them, and they let the oral love flow all around after they each get a taste of Ava. Dale really helps the scene to work, and looks to be having a great time throughout the entire scene. This is one heck of a great group scene!

I’ll admit that I didn’t expect much out of Hitting It From Behind right from the start. I figured all it would be was the behind the scenes featurettes from each of the movies slapped together on one DVD, kind of like Adam & Eve did with Caribbean Undercover / Sex Island: Behind the Scenes. I’ve been dreading watching it for quite a while, and kept putting it off. Thankfully, I was completely wrong here, and I think this is one of the best compilations I’ve seen from Adam & Eve. I love the blend of a look at the stars and then the scenes, although there are a few times when the behind the scenes stuff could have fit the scenes a little better, but most of the time it’s great and really enhances the scenes. Hitting It From Behind is a very well done compilation, and one of the best I’ve seen from Adam & Eve.

Extras: The second side of the DVD is devoted entirely to extras. Bios with a photo and a little personal information are included for Alexandra Silk, Ava Vincent, Chloe, Gina Ryder, Holly Hollywood, Jenna Haze, Jessica, Nikki Love, Summer Storm, and Taylor St. Clair. Trailers are included for Photogenic, Taste of a Woman, Unforgettable, Whispering HeartsThe Flesh Game, and Pin-Up Girls. There’s also bonus scenes and disc information.

The first bonus scene comes from Erotic Intentions and features Jewel De’Nyle and Dillion Day. The final bonus scene comes from Different Worlds and features Chris Cannon and Autumn Haze. Note to Adam & Eve: With the time stamp missing, a few more chapter breaks would have been a very good thing here. At the very least, I would have liked one chapter for the behind the scenes portion and one for the sex scene.
