The movie itself is pretty average, but the technical aspects are very nicely done and actually managed quite a bit of depth on my plain high definition system. There's also some very nice effort put into the extras that helped out this release. "The Prize" is a very good production from Brad Armstrong and Wicked Pictures that features Kaylani Lei as a happily married woman whose husband (Xander Corvus) has one Achilles heel--his overwhelming desire for anal sex. Of course, the initially-indecisive Kaylani quickly learns how to manipulate this foible to her advantage and holds it over his head, getting Xander to do all manner of chores and excessive work. Well here those roles are taken on by females, Nyomi and Chanel who both do well as these characters. This training day is designed to see if Chanel has what it takes to become a full time narc officer and it is up to Nyomi to find that out. We know she's got her own agenda that she's trying to fulfill and Chanel will either play a part in it or be pushed aside. Some good sex here for all involved including a 3 way g/g/g scene with Nyomi, Chanel and adding in Yurizan Beltran. You also have Phoenix Marie in the finale adding anal to her scene. Paul Thomas does a great job with this adult parody of the Mike Nichols / Buck Henry landmark film. Anthony Rosano does a great job channeling Dustin Hoffman, while India Summer takes on Anne Bancroft and Raven Alexis takes on Katharine Ross. The sex works well into the story, and the movie is very nicely presented. The extras aren't anything special, especially considering that this is a 2-disc release, but it's easy to see why this release earned as much attention as it did. [read the full review]

A new parody from the team of Jeff Mullen and Scott David where we go back to a 1960's show the Beverly Hillbillies but this show takes the family to modern day but the way Jed and co got rich stays the same as does Mr. Drysdale's desire to retain as much control over their vast fortune as he can. The main plot to start the show involves Jethro and Ellie Mae opening up a movie casting agency out of their big mansion. This leads to some good sex including a bj for Mr. Drysdale! Two actors take on the non sex roles of Jed and Granny with Haley Hewes doing a very good job as Granny. Another strong effort acting wise comes from Dana DeArmond who takes on the prudish role of Miss Hathoway- she stays in character during her sex scene which was quite funny. The story centers on two women, Jesse Jane and Kayden Kross who come from very different walks of live but they both have basically the same problem of having fathers who aren't very involved in their lives or very loving towards them. Jesse's dad is there living with her but they don't get along and yell a lot. Kayden's dad is abroad and basically tries to buy her love sending expensive gifts for her birthday. Both girls aren't impressed and turn to boxing to work out their frustration culminating in a final bout between the two though they aren't enemies with each other. Some good supporting work in this film too from Stoya who has some good dialogue and two sex scenes. Riley Steele plays Jesse's sister and has one sex scene and some dialogue too though her role isn't as meaty supporting wise as Stoya's. "Grindhouse XXX: A Double Feature" is a very good production from Adam and Eve that puts forth two features, both done in the over-the-top "grindhouse" style. The first ("Student Assassin") involves Teagan Presley, a student at a local community college who moonlights as a contract killer. Her cop girlfriend (Nina Mercedez) has been taken hostage by a drug kingpin (Derrick Pierce), and it's up to Teagan to rescue her...the hard way. The second ("Massacre at Pine Lake") features Alexis Ford and her crew of camp workers at the Pine Lake camp the day prior to its seasonal opening. After a monstrous serial killer (Lee Stone) escapes from the police and happens upon the camp, the whole place turns into a bloodbath. Fortunately for Alexis, this beast is a pansy when it comes to standard women's self-defense maneuvers--too funny. It is a futuristic tale of earth being invaded by aliens and a small group of earthlings manage to escape but so many are left behind. A directive is laid down to jessica drake and her crew on the Horizon to go back and decimate what is left of earth's surface and hopefully get rid of the aliens that invaded-- but are these aliens the bad guys or is there another group that we should be looking for. That is part of this story and it is a good one that unfolds with strong performances all around from the main leads- jessica, Kaylani and Kimberly Kane come to mind. Andy San Dimas also has some good lines in this though no fucking for her. You'll have to wait until nearly the end but Aiden Starr makes an appearance with a lot of the plot being explained then, it's worth the wait and you'll love her look too I think. A new show from director Brad Armstrong that takes us to the seed world of the Peep show booth where Alektra makes her living getting perves off but she takes special note of Dale Dabone who keeps coming around and is more into the talking and less into the naughty bits- though that picks up as they get to know each other. Xander Corvus is the front desk clerk who turns out to be more than he seems and you have Brad taking on the role of the Russian club owner who has fun with two American bitches in one scene but never quite succeeds with Alektra. Dale also has an interesting life which he shares with Alektra in their booth sessions. Other sexy girls in this- Misty Stone, Asa Akira, Madison Ivy and Cassandra Cruz. A recent feature from B Skow featuring Vivid girl Capri Anderson as a young girl who leaves a troubled home life in search of a father she was told is long dead but in reality is very much alive and has sent her a birthday card which prompts her to finally make the decision to leave and find him. Tom Byron plays a grizzled truck driver who is on his way to the Dallas area to make a delivery and he becomes a father type figure to Capri who also develops a big crush on him and tries to first seduce him in order to hitch a ride to TX in search of her daddy but she ends up stowing away on his truck after a confrontation with Barry Scott who plays her step dad and he also has a big perve crush on Capri. This is another solid release from Nica Noelle. The story is fairly light but works well to set things up and then tie them all together in the end. The sex is good, but not great due to Teri Weigel's usual average performance and Dane Cross seeming to be having some wood problems. The technical aspects are also a bit hit or miss, but the extras are a solid hit due to a great behind the scenes featurette.
