OMG... It’s The Nanny XXX Parody Review

OMG it's the Nanny Parody was okay as far as adult entertainment parodies go. It seemed to alternate between brilliantly performed and completely forgettable. This surprised me considering the cast included some really amazing actors. The areas I felt were completely forgettable seemed more attributable to lack of writing than mediocre acting. The dialogue was not spectacular by any stretch of the imagination. The fact that parts of the movie were hilarious is that much more of a credit to the actors.

I have seen Anthony Rosano in a few things now and have pretty decent expectations of his performances when I see him on a cast list. I figure after over a 1000 movies Mr. Rosano should be good at what he does. In this feature he was OUTSTANDING! His British accent as Maxwell was subtle, refined and perfect. His timing and delivery were also impeccable. Mr. Rosano's non sex and sex scenes with Ms. Andy San Dimas were nicely paced and fun.

In the opening, acting only, scene Michael Vegas as Brighton is at a table with Anthony Rosano as Maxwell and Andy San Dimas as The Nanny. He only had a few lines but I was hopeful there would be more to the role for him. Other than two lines at the beginning of his sex scene with Lexi Belle as Hilary Muff there was nothing. The sex scene was quite good, as I expect any Michael Vegas scene to be. However, if all I want to watch is a sex scene that's exactly what I watch. When I want to see a feature with writing, dialogue, acting and so on, I rent/buy a feature. To see Mr. Vegas so grossly underutilized was a disappointment.

In the same vein, Seth Gamble had only a sex scene with literally 2 lines. Any fan of the lead actor in 2014 AVN & XBIZ Comedy of the Year: Grease XXX would be disappointed to see so little of his full range of capabilities. This sex scene could have been subtitled 'interesting and impossible ways to fuck on a stairway'. A waste of good casting.

The one sex scene that was really exceptional starred Tommy Pistol as The Manager and Sara Sloane as Val. The set up was unimpressive. It was the dialogue between Mr. Pistol and Ms. Sloane that made this one of the best sex scenes ever. The dialogue felt totally improvised but didn't suffer for it. These two actors traded lines, while having sex, that were so funny even they laughed a couple of times. It was incredibly engrossing. I didn't want to miss a line and went back to watch it again. After the scenefinished I realized I had been smiling the entire time just from witnessing it. You don't get that in most adult movies, I assure you.

Evan Stone was also notable as Niles the butler. Mr. Stone is well known for his over the top humor and total commitment to absurd characters. As Niles he shows a more restrained side of his humor performances. He excels as the snippy, British servant. His delivery dripping delightfully with sarcasm. His nod to a mainstream actor who dances and sings in his underwear in an iconic 80's movie was more fun than should be legal.

Overall the movie was adequate. If you are a serious fan of Tommy Pistol, Anthony Rosano, Evan Stone or Andy San Dimas then this movie is worth watching.
