Training Day: A XXX Porn Parody (Pleasure Dynasty) Review

Directed by General Stone, TRAINING DAY: A PLEASURE DYNASTY PARODY (2011, Blue Ribbon Films/Pleasure Dynasty) switches gender for the two lead roles in this parody of the Denzel Washington vehicle from 2001. Both this parody and the original source material are around 2 hours long but the parody has about 40 minutes of story and more than 80 minutes of XXX scenes so that's a problem especially in the second half of this parody as sex scenes between minor characters just seem added for no rhyme or reason.

This 2 disc set looks and sounds great but the second disc only has an okay BTS but nothing else much of interest. Other problems arise.

Disc 1---The Feature---Scenes---Cum Reel

Young cop Jane Hoyt (Chanel Preston) awakens to her first day as a narcotics officer. Her hubby consoles her then the duo suck and fuck before she heads out to work. (General Stone and director of photography Paul Woodcrest do a fine job capturing the lovely Chanel and terrific Tom in a series of straight sex positions with an emphasis on diagonal shots. At the outset, she even sucks Tom's ass in a 69 position then takes a cumshot on her boobs for the finale of this mighty fine sex scene in a bedroom environ---!!!!)

She meets her new partner, a bad ass veteran narcotics officer Alison Harris (Nyomi Banxxx) then the duo hit the street. Alison questions Jane's reasoning for becoming a narc then convinces Jane to smoke some shit from a pipe that soon has Jane tripping.

Alison and Jane stop at Alison's boyfriend's house and Jane watches as Alison sucks and fucks Roger (Tommy Gunn) in an oversized brown chair. (Nothing wrong with the chemistry between Banxxx and Gunn in this solid straight sex scene---!!! but the bad ass side to Alison goes on hiatus here and Preston disappears while these two go at it)

It's time to hit the streets and for Alison to get tough as the duo thwart an assault in broad daylight. Jane's training day continues when Alison introduces Jane to Mommy's girl (Yuri Beltran) for a girl/girl/girl three-way on zebra striped sheets. (A fine frantic fingering three way ensues---!!! but this scene is way too long and again Alison's bad ass side disappears in the process)

Back on the street, Alison introduces Jane to some higher-up cops at a restaurant. The duo take off but the three male cops enlist their waitress to service them further...in a blow bang. (I believe Tara Lynn Foxy is the lovely waitress, who benefits from fine framing of shots with her administering blow job/double hand job combinations. Fine face fucking moments then a triple swallow conclude the fun---!!!! but this scene really adds nothing to the plot of the parody)

Alison and Jane return to Roger's place where she uncovers some drugs in the kitchen but she has other plans rather than taking him in.

A Latino drug gang just sort of appear out of nowhere and Smiley (Alex Gonz) buttfucks a blonde chica (Phoenix Marie) on a couch while a couple of his homies sit around and watch. (Alex goes ass to pussy and pussy to ass plus some ass to mouth for those of you that enjoy that sort of stuff; I don't---!! 1/2. When the blonde chica takes loads from the three fellas, she disappears and isn't seen or heard from again)

Later, at a card game, Jane takes a beating from the Latino gang for not showing them her weapon, which leads to a final confrontation between Jane and her crazy-as-all-fuck partner, Alison. A shadowy fight ensues then gunshots ring out over a black frame before the titles roll.

Also on this disc is a 5 or 6 minute cum reel that's fine.

Disc 2

The 45 minute BTS is entitled 'A Day on the Set' and features photo shoots of Nyomi and Chanel. That duo's encounter with Tommy Gunn leads to a photo session of Nyomi and Tommy sucking and fucking that's the concluding lengthy section of the BTS.

The movie without sex is the only other extra of any length. At nearly 40 minutes, it mostly just reminds the viewer that the over 2 hour feature has way too much sex as opposed to a more balanced approach to mixing the plot and sex. In the future, why not enlist editor Tom Byron to do an actual tighter edit of the feature, at say 75 minutes, then stick entire sex scenes on the second disc? Give the purchaser two discs worth having instead of an overstuffed feature on disc 1 plus a crappy second disc.

So, TRAINING DAY: A PLEASURE DYNASTY PARODY (2011, Blue Ribbon Films, Pleasure Dynasty) switches gender of the rookie cop and the corrupt cop of the original source material but neither maintain their tough cop personalities when it's time for the overly long sex scenes to take over. The good news is that the sex scenes are well-staged and captured by director Stone and photog Woodcrest but further editing is really needed here.

Maybe TRAINING DAY will teach these filmmakers a lesson or two about how to approach their next project. Hey, why not remake or do a parody of one of the better XXX features from the '70s or '80s. Final rating for TRAINING DAY: A PLEASURE DYNASTY PARODY is !!! outta !!!!!
