Review brief: There are five scenes to this DVD. I will rate the scenes on a scale of 1 to 5 (Hot!). In first two scenes each girl has a peeing scene. Scene 1 - Girl/Boy scene. This scene has some good footage of her riding her bicycle with glimpses of her panties. This scene is rated 4.5. Scene 2 - Girl(Cheyenne Silver)/Boy scene. This was the best scene of the movie because Cheyenne is the best looking of the women in this movie. Her role in this scene is a babysitter and the guy is supposedly the father of the children she is babysitting. This scene is rated a 4. Scene 3 - Girl/Girl scene. This scene was to short with very little heat. This scene is rated a 2.5. Scene 4 - Girl/Girl/Boy scene. The girls are dressed as cheerleaders. I give the girls credit for acting enthused about the sex. This scene is rated a 3.5. Scene 5 - Girl/Girl/Boy Scene. This scene is rated a 3. Overall, this movie did not provide much heat. The two best scenes are the first two. There is a slide show and a movie preview.

Jewel De'Nyle, who is rarely far from his side, is beautiful enough on her own to raise the quality of the productions. And yet, he goes above the call of duty with volume 9 by offering other hot young women like cover girl Jessica Drake. And North, himself, is also quite a draw. I know male stars aren't responsible for selling adult videos, but North is the exception. The size of his fan base is comparable to that of most women in the industry, and it certainly has been as long lasting as most.

The same sense of adventure (or, maybe boredom) that brought us these slightly different products, brings us Hand Job Hunnies. That's right, a DVD with nothing but hand jobs. The Citizen Kane of jack-off flicks. Actually, it's the only wall to wall boy/girl masturbation movie I've seen, but that's not to say it can't be a classic. Well, before we go any further understand that Hand Job Hunnies is not exactly a classic, but it is pretty good. I've never understood why some pursue the hand job like the rest of us might work toward something along the lines of actual sex...or free hockey tickets. After all, we can give ourselves hand jobs.

Review brief: The Plot: Yep, not every great movie makes a whole hell of a lot of sense. Conquest is a good example. Our lovely tale of lust and torn bodices starts with a hanging. John "Dutch" is about to die for his crimes as a pirate. Sentenced to hang by his neck until dead (Does anyone just hang by the neck until uncomfortable?), John is rescued at the last second by his Captain, his fellow crewmen and the timely intervention of a chick with big tits. Naturally, no good deed goes unpunished, and we are treated to watching the crown prince (hilariously overplayed to perfection by somebody who deserved more credit) rant & rave about "Blackheart", our hero. Speaking of our hero, he and his crew are resting in the Batcave before setting sail. Captain Steubing receives a navigation chart and instructions to meet up with the rest of his crew at an uncharted island. Instead of thwacking the guy over the head for giving him a chart and instructions for an uncharted island, he wanders off to brood over the loss of his family.

Review brief: North Pole #8 Directed by Peter North Starring: Sylvia, Jewel De'Nyle, Barrett Moore, Aspen Brock, Harmony Grant, Jade Marcella, Peter North, Eric Everhard, Rob Scott, Chris Cannon, Chris Charming. This is Peter North's eighth entry in his North Pole series, which does a pretty good job of straddling the fence between hardcore gonzo and couples oriented vignettes. Instead of grubby guys trying to prove to the camera how "hardcore" they really are, Peter instead opts for well appointed locations, very pretty girls, and shots that steer away from strictly gynecological close ups. At the same time, however, you still get facials, anal, strap ons, and all the other things that make a hardcore video hardcore. There is some above average sex on this disc, but you won't find much in the way of extras. There are a handful of trailers for other titles which are well put together, but that's about it. Everything is professionally constructed, on the other hand. The picture is sharp, the sound is clear, and the menus work.

Review brief: Pre Viewing Expectations The case for this movie doesn't give away too much. There are a few photos on the back that show some of the hardcore action, including a three-way. It mentions the women who star in it, but otherwise, that is about it. The Main Event As one might expect, this is a montage of scenes, without any type of plotline to hook them all together. For the most part, the women look young, and inexperienced. Take for example the first scene. The girl tries to deep throat the guy, but looks like she is either in pain or very uncomfortable. More experienced women know how to make this look enjoyable, even if it isn't. Overall there are six scenes in this feature, including the three-way shown on the case. Most of the scenes are in excess of 18 minutes, good lenghty action. I was surprised by the lack of money shots in some of these scenes. In the first scene, the guy comes inside of the girl then withdrawls.

This is not to say that such videos can't be informative, but obvious discussions on the art of lovemaking are usually peppered with obvious suggestions like, "Take your time. Be sensitive to your partner's needs. Enjoy the experience..." (Well, duh!). So, after noting the title of this feature, I braced myself for a methodically boring instructional video of sorts, with some graphic but sterilized scenes of oral sex. In other words, I thought I would be bored to death. However, the legendary Nina Hartley makes this video enjoyable, and yes, educational as well.

Review brief: The Plot: There really isn't a plot, per se, to this disc. Think of it more like a CBT (Computer- Based Training) for anal play. I can see this up on your bookshelf in your office next to the other CBTs. Networking, Systems Design, Anal Sex, Distributed Development. Yep, it just fits right in there, doesn't it? And that, after all, is what we're talking about today. Nina whips out the lecture mode and teaches us everything you ever wanted to know about playing with your ass in four easy chapters. The first chapter is anatomy, and she describes where everything is, how it is shaped, what is sensitive, etc. in exquisite detail. If she wasn't a teacher before the adult business, she should have been. She's an excellent lecturer. She doesn't stumble over her words, she doesn't sound condescending, she enunciates well... I wish she had been teaching some of my classes in college. I would have done much better if I'd been watching her instead of the grad student I got saddled with for differential equations.

My hopes rose a little when I saw that she wrote the script for Voices. Within the first 5 seconds after the opening credits, my hopes started to pay off. The camera work was excellent from the start, switching between color and black and white shots with some chains hanging down rattling.

The picture is quite clear, and there weren't any spots where I thought it was grainy. The audio is a little below average. In a few parts the sound echoes slightly, however the main problem is the audio level. Normally on my TV I have the volume in the low 20s. For Night Nurses, I had to turn it up to almost 40 to try and hear anything. At least the audio track matched the video well. The Rest: "We all want our patients to leave here happy, happy, happy." Nina Hartley says at one point. That shouldn't be a problem with the treatments patients get at this hospital.

This is Peter North's eighth entry in his North Pole series, which does a pretty good job of straddling the fence between hardcore gonzo and couples oriented vignettes. At the same time, however, you still get facials, anal, strap ons, and all the other things that make a hardcore video hardcore. There is some above average sex on this disc, but you won't find much in the way of extras. There are a handful of trailers for other titles which are well put together, but that's about it. Everything is professionally constructed, on the other hand. The picture is sharp, the sound is clear, and the menus work.

Review brief: Pre Viewing Expectations The case for this movie doesn't give away too much. There are a few photos on the back that show some of the hardcore action, including a three-way. It mentions the women who star in it, but otherwise, that is about it. The Main Event As one might expect, this is a montage of scenes, without any type of plotline to hook them all together. For the most part, the women look young, and inexperienced. Take for example the first scene. The girl tries to deep throat the guy, but looks like she is either in pain or very uncomfortable. More experienced women know how to make this look enjoyable, even if it isn't. Overall there are six scenes in this feature, including the three-way shown on the case. Most of the scenes are in excess of 18 minutes, good lenghty action. I was surprised by the lack of money shots in some of these scenes. Plot Synopsis: This movie is the story of Peaches, a young and naive virgin, trying to find answers to her confusing emotions. The film begins with Peaches (Keisha) and her friend, Sandy (Lynn LeMay), talking about Sandy's experience of letting a guy look at her "under the sheets." After Peaches' mom (Tracey Adams) runs them off to bed, Peaches has a dream of Sandy's experience.

Review brief: Five sex scenes -each being the fulfillment of the girl's fantasy. But as far as I'm concerned the first scene might as well be removed. It is a half-assed fulfillment of the girl's fantasy - and she's an average looking dead fish.Onto better things: each scene begins with Professor Mike interviewing the girl, she tells him her fantasy, then she masturbates as clips of her fantasy are spliced in. All of the fantasies are pretty run of the mill (pick up an 18yr old on the street, screw him, toss him out the door - screw two guys while my boyfriend watches, etc.)Leanni Lei rocks. I'd be happy to see her in every gonzo flick. She's always smiling -and is naturally beautiful. Review brief: A quick shout out to Monica Mayhem, the Kay Hanley of Josie and the Pussycats, to this movie. Any ways, we once again get to travel back in time, and apparently our attention spans were very low. As we did get 5 scenes in this one, but with a short run time, we end up with some very short scenes, and less time with Alektra is a bad thing. She was a part of each scene in some way no matter what, just wish we got a little more time with her. And her playing a rock star, no easier role to fill.
