This was before I saw the incredible 'Buttmans Anal Show', which came out after this. This XXX movie is pretty decent. It is nice, although I have seen better. Although the scene with Jazmine & Cassandra Wild is 'Oh, Very Nice', and that scene is the best scene in here, 'Buttmans Anal Divas' is a much better film! This DVD came out in 2000 and the quality is not so hot (like most other Evil Angel DVDs that were released during that time). The menu resembles the 'Buttmans Big Butt Backdoor Babes' menu. The photo galleria has some nice pictures, yet, most of them are grainy.

Review brief: It's always fun to compare a Vivid DVD to a VHS tape of the same film. You never know what cuts and changes will have been made to the DVD version. This film was originally shot around 1992-1993. The movie opens with Bonnie and Clyde (Ashlyn Gere and Randy West) robbing a bank. Although the real Bonnie and Clyde operated in East Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma, the landscape here looks suspiciously like Southern California. The first scene is between Randy and Ashlyn, and it has been re-edited and shortened. The music is downright bizzare; the DVD features Strauss waltzes such as the Blue Danube waltz. Now, I'm no big fan of the porn Jazz-o-lite of the tape version, but this waltz music is really inappropriate. The scene ends in a long and very unerotic shot of Randy masturbating to climax. Was that necessary? The next scene features Racquel Darrien, solo, masturbating. (There's a masturbation theme here). The video quality sucks -pixelation galore-- and the scene has been shortened by two or three minutes.

However, the picture of Adriana's fantastic backside that adorns this video could hardly be bettered - it's going to sell this movie all by itself! So what goes on? Shot by the capable Mike John, each scene is pretty much out of the same mould - a willing (though this varies somewhat) woman takes on one or more well-hung guys (perm any combination from Omar, Lex and Marcus) and gets her pussy and then her ass thoroughly shafted prior to receiving a load of come to deal with. Review brief: To paraphrase a certain super-movie slogan, "if you haven't seen the first part, then you haven't seen the best part!" which can be applied to this sequel to SUPERMODEL, a Wave Video release which was a pretty damn good mid-nineties movie that deserved a second chance at finding a wider audience on DVD. Although the "prequel" stood on its won as a complete, self-contained film, SUPERMODEL 2 features most of the same characters and refers to the original crime story as the first, but I found the sex to be less imaginative and less heated overall. The story is interesting by porn-standards, involving a mystery criminal and the subsequent investigation by detective Buck Adams, but the movie works better as just plain old porn. Even though Lene is the star of the show, allow me to sing my first praises over Leena, an auburn- haired sex bomb with a fantastic figure and gorgeous looks.

Their prize is geisha (in South America? Whatever...) Laureen Kiss, who is almost unrecognizable in her white face makeup and black wig (she usually wears a natural looking brunette wig over her short, dyed-blonde hair). Laureen has a wonderful body, tight but curvy (shown off quite well in The Voyeur 18), and Leslie is fortunate she helps him win, since Kovi is a very large, probably quite strong man.

Review brief: I used to have a VHS copy of John Leslie's Chameleon, in which Tori Welles seemed to have the ability to change shape at will - although there was a certain element of ambiguity about the events that no reviewer has seemed to pick up on. What exactly was real? The not-sequel from 1992 features Deidre Holland and Rocco Siffredi as a couple of vampiric shape-changers and Ashlyn Gere as an adventurous woman who is seduced and intrigued by them. The plot is less ambiguous this time around, although not exactly mainstream. I suppose the viewer is aided by the obvious loans from other movies, most obviously Tony Scott's The Hunger. Watching the movie I was struck by a realization of how much I had been missing real and intriguing plots in porn. Review brief: It's always fun to compare a Vivid DVD to a VHS tape of the same film. You never know what cuts and changes will have been made to the DVD version. This film was originally shot around 1992-1993. The movie opens with Bonnie and Clyde (Ashlyn Gere and Randy West) robbing a bank. Although the real Bonnie and Clyde operated in East Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma, the landscape here looks suspiciously like Southern California. The first scene is between Randy and Ashlyn, and it has been re-edited and shortened. The music is downright bizzare; the DVD features Strauss waltzes such as the Blue Danube waltz. Now, I'm no big fan of the porn Jazz-o-lite of the tape version, but this waltz music is really inappropriate. The scene ends in a long and very unerotic shot of Randy masturbating to climax. Was that necessary? The next scene features Racquel Darrien, solo, masturbating. (There's a masturbation theme here). The video quality sucks -pixelation galore-- and the scene has been shortened by two or three minutes.

Although the "prequel" stood on its won as a complete, self-contained film, SUPERMODEL 2 features most of the same characters and refers to the original crime story as the first, but I found the sex to be less imaginative and less heated overall. Why? The previous Indiana Mack movie was set in the Dominican Republic, and this one takes place in Israel. Regardless, director Kovi is seen in a tough dive bar, arm wrestling with Leslie Taylor (is he supposed to be the same criminal he was in part 1? I don't know...). Their prize is geisha (in South America? Whatever...) Laureen Kiss, who is almost unrecognizable in her white face makeup and black wig (she usually wears a natural looking brunette wig over her short, dyed-blonde hair). Laureen has a wonderful body, tight but curvy (shown off quite well in The Voyeur 18), and Leslie is fortunate she helps him win, since Kovi is a very large, probably quite strong man.

Review brief: I used to have a VHS copy of John Leslie's Chameleon, in which Tori Welles seemed to have the ability to change shape at will - although there was a certain element of ambiguity about the events that no reviewer has seemed to pick up on. What exactly was real? The not-sequel from 1992 features Deidre Holland and Rocco Siffredi as a couple of vampiric shape-changers and Ashlyn Gere as an adventurous woman who is seduced and intrigued by them. The plot is less ambiguous this time around, although not exactly mainstream. I suppose the viewer is aided by the obvious loans from other movies, most obviously Tony Scott's The Hunger. Watching the movie I was struck by a realization of how much I had been missing real and intriguing plots in porn. Chameleons is by no means a perfect movie - I did not get the opening scene, which appears to be taken from an entirely different kind of movie. All it seems to do is to establish the bitchiness of the Ashlyn Gere character, and not very effectively.

Review: I got no sexual experience in the world and found this disk to be educational. I also thought it was enjoyable to see the women naked and used as instructional aids. It sure beat looking at drawings or even pictures in some book. I think this disk would be great for a couple who maybe is a little uncomfortable with their sexuality and/or maybe wonders if they know all there is to know about pleasing their partner.
