Review brief: This time, Candida takes Femme in a new direction towards that of the black market with the help of co-director Venus Hottentot. There's a very good idea to the story and some nice chemistry to the sex. Unfortunately Candida's usual limitations are on full display for the sex, leaving it feeling boring and often preachy, and with the movie not even clocking in at seventy minutes the movie falls short too. There's a bit of effort put into the extras, but that too comes off feeling a bit preachy and sometimes even a bit staged. There's a bit of effort and some nice ideas behind this DVD, but sadly Candida Royalle gives it her usual kiss of slow withering death.

Review brief: When budding filmmaker Eric Masterson sets out to get the true story on up and coming hottie Ava Rose, he gets much more than he bargained for. Unfortunately, the viewer gets far less. Although Ava does appear in two scenes, she comes off more as a prop than anything in the movie and never really seems likable. The sex is okay, but is constantly held back by choppy editing and funky lighting that never really worked for me. There's a bit of effort put into the extras, including a very nice interview with Ava, but for the most part the movie left me far from impressed and never seemed to give me any reason I should care about it.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody who wants chemistry and a realistic feel to the scenes Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting something feeling completely professional Audio /Video Quality: Luc Wylder isnt normally known for having high technical aspects. The audio is fairly well balanced, but if theres anything going on in the background youre normally going to hear it. The video is also a bit grainy, and theres camera shake and soft focus problems.

I think I feel a fever coming on! Initial Reaction: Its pretty good, but nothing mind blowing. Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting softer porn with a nice variety of scenes and not much plot Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting an extremely soft and romantic feature Audio /Video Quality: The audio is pretty clear and well balanced. There arent any background noises, but there were a couple spots where it seemed just a little scratchy. The video is much the same. It has a soft feeling, showing just a little grain, and a few shadows as well. Neither the grain nor the shadows interfere much, and actually give the feature a bit of an artistic feeling at times. Music: The music is fairly typical porno music, but it also works in some softer styles very nicely.

First, the level seems a little on the low side and varies throughout the movie. Second, the balance seems off in places, although thankfully its not off so badly that it jumps right out at you. Finally, theres a few background noises throughout the feature that do jump right out at you (especially during the scene between Jana and Cameron).

Music: The music is pretty typical porn music. The style varies a little in places, but never too much, and its always on the loud side. Menus: The menus are anything but impressive.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting sex with heavy artistic direction and who doesnt mind slow motion and not really hearing the performers Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants to hear the performers and the audio and video to synch Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very artistic, and I can see many people hating the movie because of them. During the setup sequences, the audio and video are nicely done. Theyre both nicely clear and there are very few shadows. During the sex, however, the video normally slows things down to give the feature a more romantic feel.

Initial Reaction: Its every bit as good as the scenes Ive previously seen. Who Should Watch It : Anybody who likes artistic sex Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants to watch sex in real time rather than slow motion. Audio /Video Quality: The video has a little bit of grain that gives it almost a film-like quality. The lighting is well done, and leaves shadows in places that only seem natural and that dont detract from the action. Theres a fair amount of slow motion throughout the feature, which means much of the audio is dubbed. The dubbing comes across well, and theres quite a bit of voice overs as well. The audio is all clear, and most of it is well balanced.
