Initial Expectations: Adam & Eve’s compilations can be pretty hit or miss. I’m never quite sure what to expect, but something about this one doesn’t give me a lot of hope.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: As one would expect from a compilation, the technical aspects vary a little from scene to scene. That said, they don’t vary a lot. Most of the audio is clear and well balanced, and there are very few background noises or balance problems. The video is much the same way. The lighting varies a little, and some scenes are a little softer than others, but it never falls into a feeling of being poorly done.

Music: The music also varies from scene to scene. While some scenes go with heavier porno music, others go for soft country. It’s a nice variety, and helps the scenes to stand apart from each other.

Disc Complaints: The chapter breaks are completely funky, and rarely line up with the scene breaks. This definitely interfered with my watching the DVD, and I dropped the overall rating a half point because of it.

Menus: The main menu is simple, but okay. The chapter menu is very generic, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a chapter number.

The Feature

Spreading My Seed goes with a simple idea... threesomes. Each scene has two girls taking on one guy. As the scene begins you’re told who’s in the scene but never where the scene comes from.

Scene 1 - Monica Mayhem, Phoenix Ray, and Dillion Day

Things start off with a scene from Whispering Hearts where Phoenix Ray is mistakenly credited as Nina Ferrari in the opening. Scene 2 - Gauge, Bridgette Kerkove, and Lee Stone

Next up is a scene from the easily skipped The Real Thing. The scenes show some nice care by listing who’s in the scene at the start of each scene, and do so without intruding on the action. It’s done so nicely that I couldn’t help but wish that they’d let the viewer know where the original scene was from too. The biggest thing to hold this release back is the chapter breaks, which normally seemed to happen in the middle of the scenes rather than between them. Yes, this even happens if you choose a scene from the chapter menu! Even with that technical complaint, Spreading My Seed is a pretty hot compilation that’s worth checking out.
