The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is okay. There’s a few background noises, but for the most part it’s clear and well balanced. The video, however, leaves a lot to be desired. The good news is that there’s just a hint of grain and the action is well lit. The bad news is that there’s some fucked up stuff going on at the top and bottom of the picture. It flashes back and forth like the top and bottom little bit are being reversed, and it made the movie very hard for me to watch.

Music: Some of the scenes don’t have any music, while others are a little heavy. The music often seemed a bit loud and a bit generic and cheesy. Needless to say, it didn’t do a lot for me or the scenes.

False Advertising: The cover states 100% Ass-Packin’ Action!, yet not all of the scenes are anal scenes. I’m deducting a half point from the overall score because of this.

Menus: The main menu is okay, and nicely works a bit of the movie into a decent framework. The chapter menu is pretty generic, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a scene number.

The Feature

Amateur Endzone focuses on Luc Wylder’s Amateur Angels series. Each scene comes from the series, and focuses on the anal scenes that occurred now and then. Most of the time you get a little of the interview with Luc, but it never takes long to get to the action.

Scene 1 - Mariesa and Dale DaBone

The opening scene comes from Amateur Angels 2. Meriesa, a tall brunette who looks like she might have a bit of Italian or Latin blood in her, and Dale DaBone team up for the second scene. Scene 2 - Julie Night and Tyce Bune

The second scene comes from Amateur Angels 8. On the other side of things, the camera work often left a lot to be desired for me. It focused on the penetration way more than I liked, especially here because Cailey really is a cutie. Even without Cailey being so darn cute, the camera rarely gave an angle I was happy with, and frequently held the scene back for me. This scene has some good potential, but I didn’t care for much of how it was captured.

Scene 4 - Jasmine Lynne and Tony Tedeschi

Jasmine and Tony get busy in the final scene from Luc Wylder’s Amateur Angels 10 next. Scene 6 - Alaura Eden and Mario Rossi

Yes, Anika and Dick do a nice job, but I couldn’t help but feel like there could have been a little something more here.

Scene 8 - Rhiannon Bray and Dick Nasty

Things even come to a close with Amateur Angels 13. Amateur Endzone is a pretty decent compilation. The scenes are never hard anal action, but on the other hand there’s often some nice chemistry in the scenes that makes up for it. Rhiannon Bray and Alaura Eden’s scene are probably my favorite, while the camera work in Cailey’s scene and the lack of anal in Mariesa’s scene hold them down at the other end. As a compilation, though, there’s some good care here. Although the original movie titles are never given, the names of the stars always are, and the little bit of interviews that are included help this one to have a bit more depth than many other compilations. The only real problem with this one is the video. The flickering between the top and the bottom of the screen made it very hard for me to watch, and I’m sure I would have gotten into some of these scenes even more if quality control wouldn’t have been jerking off to something else in the room when this one went out. Amateur Endzone has some nice anal scenes, but due to the video quality I just can’t recommend people check it out.

Currently, Adam & Eve’s DVDs can be found online for between $8 and $25, with several stores offering them for around $15. Aim very low here or rent this one first. There’s some good anal scenes, but the video quality holds this one way, way back. There’s a little effort in the extras, but the bonus scene did almost nothing for me. This is a below average compilation release.

Note to Adam & Eve: This would have been a very nice compilation if not for the sucky video.
