Some of the interview is a little scratchy, almost as if the microphone was maxed out. The movies themselves come across every bit as good as what they originally sounded to be. Most of the video has some slight grain, which is to be expected with a feature thats over five years old.

Im not going in with too high of expectations here. Initial Reaction: Its a nice bit of fluff that has me looking forward to a lot more from Venus! Who Should Watch It : Anybody looking for your stereotypical porno Who Should Avoid It: Anybody looking for something really hard or really soft. Audio /Video Quality: As usual with VCAs DVDs, the technical aspects are very well done. The audio is clear and well balanced for the most part, but a few small sections are a little off. The video is much the same way. Its extremely clear and well lit, with only a few minor shadows interfering at times. The editing is a bit obvious throughout the movie, as it frequently uses a kind of washout that you often see before and after dream sequences.

Theres barely a hint of grain, its very nicely lit, and the camera normally feels like it knows where it wants to be. Music: The music is balanced extremely well with the rest of the audio. It has a very nice feel to it that doesnt completely scream porno. Menus: The main menu is pretty basic, and not too impressive.

Review brief: Note: There seems to be a bit of confusion as to the title of this feature. The cover makes it look like its supposed to be Nurse Betty #2. I dont have any problem with this, except that there doesnt appear to have been a Nurse Betty #1 (at least not by Omar Williams or VCA). The #2 in the title appears to be pointing to the fact that this is the second of Betty Swallocks movies, especially because the movie claims to be Nurse Betty in the opening sequence. As most stores currently appear to be listing this movie as Nurse Betty #2 Im listing it under that name, but since the movie actually appears to be Nurse Betty, Im going to refer to it as that in this review. Hopefully Bettys third movie will have a cover thats designed a little better so there wont be this confusion.

Review brief: NOTE: There seems to be more than a little confusion as to the title of this DVD. The title on the cover reads: Eye Contact Young True Amateurs Volume 2 I fully took this to mean the movie was called Young True Amateurs 2 when looking at the cover, but the movie is actually called Eye Contact 2 and is labeled as such on the DVD and listed as such on RAME. This seems to be more than a little confusing, especially if a person wants to recommend this movie to somebody else. Hopefully Homegrown puts a little more thought into their covers and how they word things in the future to end this confusion. Im listing this review under Young True Amateurs 2 as thats the way most stores appear to have it listed, although in the review Im going to refer to it as Eye Contact 2 as thats actually the name of the movie.

The audio is decently balanced, but some of the audio is a little muddy. The video is okay but doesnt have a lot of detail. Music: The music has the same cheesy feel as most porn of the mid-eighties, and is a bit on the loud side. Menus: The menus are extremely basic. You have the choice between watching one or both movies and previews. There isnt any animation in any of the menus, but this was also a very early DVD release.

Lost Footage Vol. 1 is no different. The audio is pretty well balanced, but you still hear background noises like the still camera advancing the film and a few directions from the cameraman. There are also areas where the audio completely disappears. The video is similar. Theres some grain, which varies from scene to scene.

A fair amount of it has an annoying buzzing to it almost as it somebody shoved a vibrator up the cameramans ass. It also has comments from the camera man to the cast, which is all but inexcusable in my opinion. Finally, the audio isnt balanced too well and is frequently a little hollow.

The opening scene is a bit out of balance, with the background noises creeping into the foreground a bit much. The video has a soft touch that helps give the movie and artistic feel. It reminds me a lot of the look of many classic adult films that have found their way onto DVD.

The lighting is extremely well done, and varies among the scenes to help give them a bit more of an artistic feel. Music: The music has the typical porn funk and is very nicely balanced with the rest of the audio.

The audio is very clear and well balanced, although some of it is dubbed. The video is also very good. Theres a couple shadows that interfere, but thats about it for problems with the video. Music: The music has a slightly techno feel, but its only there for the start and end of the scene. This is an interesting way to do it, and I think it works great here. Menus: The menus are nicely animated.
