Initial Expectations: VCA’s Deep Inside series has been one of the best compilation lines I’ve seen. I always go in with high expectations.

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who just wants sex in their compilations

Audio /Video Quality: As a rule, you don’t expect compilations to have consistent technical aspects. Thankfully, VCA pays enough attention to the technical aspects that their compilations are fairly consistent. The audio is normally clear and well balanced, with no signs of dubbing. The video has some slight grain, which is to be expected with a feature that’s over five years old, but looks great when one considers the age of the feature and the scenes it contains. There’s only a few shadows, and very few of those interfere with the picture.

Music: As usual with most compilations, the style and balance of the music isn’t consistent throughout the feature. The style is pretty consistent with your typical porn music, but the balance varies from being way too loud to being nicely balanced.

Menus: The menus are pretty simple. The main menu has a clip from one of the scenes and VCA’s standard format. The chapter menu is nicely done and lists each scene by the name of the feature it comes from and one of Ariana’s partners in each scene.

The Feature: VCA’s Deep Inside series gives the typical compilation feature a new twist by focusing the compilation on one specific star, in this case, Ariana. Ariana, who’s nicely decked out in fetishwear throughout the movie, talks about what she was like growing up, her first experiences with sex and porn, and how she got into the business. She talks quite a bit about her sexuality, as well as a few things that might surprise you about her.

Ariana starts things off with Ona Z and Steve Drake with a scene from Sex Ranch. After warming each other up orally, Ariana lets Ona lick her slit while Steve fucks Ona from behind. Ariana and Ona continue to play with each other as Steve fuck Ariana before he finally comes all over Ariana’s pussy. It’s an extremely hot scene that shows you don’t have to get nasty to build the heat. There’s not even any anal action here, and it’s hotter than heck just because of how much Ariana, Ona, and Steve are into each other.

Next, Ariana quickly takes notice of Amber Wood’s ass as Mike Horner examines it in a scene from The Butt Detective, and comes over to join her and Mike. They work their way around so that everybody gets a little oral action. Amber gets her turn first, laying back on the bar to take it missionary style while Ariana rides her face. Ariana gets her turn next, and lets Mike take care of each of her holes as she lays back on a few barstools. Ariana eats Amber a little as Mike fucks her, and then takes his guy goo on her cunt to finish things up. It’s a pretty good scene, but the artistic additions get in the way a bit here. I was also a little disappointed since the camera never showed all of the action on the screen at once.

Ariana gets it on with Luc Wylder, her husband at the time, in a scene from Night of Seduction in the third scene. Luc gives Ariana a little help as she lifts weights before playfully hinting that she try another kind of workout. Luc works his way around Ariana’s pierced nipples and down to her toes, while working in plenty of kissing and attention for her pierced pussy. She returns the favor with some nice head before Luc fucks her missionary style before forcing him back and energetically riding him cowgirl style. They finish things up with a little doggie style and Ariana taking an impressive facial. This is an excellent scene! Ariana and Luc have better chemistry here than one could hope for even from a real life couple, and put so much passion into the scene that I had a smile on my face through almost the entire scene. You can tell that Luc and Ariana are both having a great time, and make this scene everything a person could hope for.

Ariana starts out her scene from Every Woman Has a Fantasy 3 with leather-hooded Tom Byron worshiping her shoes and licking her pussy while Krista Maze and Michael J. Cox watch and get turned on in the next room. Ariana moves from being treated to taking control, and flogs Tom’s ass before fucking it from behind with her strap-on while Michael eats and fingers an enthralled Krista. Michael also gets a little head from Krista before fucking her from behind while they watch Tom fuck Ariana missionary style and pop on her bush. Michael pops shortly after, leaving his dick droppings on Krista’s great ass. It’s an excellent scene that nicely mixes things up. There’s great chemistry between both couples, but Ariana and Tom give things a slightly dark feel while Michael and Krista feel extremely intimate.

Things return to Sex Ranch for Ariana to take on Derek Lane. Derek goes from eating Ariana as she sits on a high chair to lifting her up and carrying her to a staircase while continuing to eat her and then letting her slide down to work on his cock. She sucks and tit-fucks him before riding him and laying back down on the stairs for Derek to fuck her. Ariana lets Derek finish things up fucking her from behind and then pulling out and popping on the carpeted floor. He hands her a towel to clean up with and walks away while telling her to get back to work. It’s a pretty good scene with nice chemistry and energy, which is no surprise for anybody who’s watched much of Ariana.

The orgy scene from DMJ 5 with Ariana is the penultimate scene, and includes Juli Ashton, Serenity, Luc Wylder, Barbara Doll, T. T. Boy, and Vince Voyeur, just to name a few. It’s a fast moving scene that rarely lets you focus on anybody for long. There’s plenty of nasty sex, such as anal and a pair of double penetrations, and plenty of facials to finish things up. It’s a very hot scene, and nicely blends art and sex.

Finally, Ariana breaks out some of her toys along with helpers Luc Wylder and Jill Kelly. Jill basically plays with Ariana lightly while Luc works her electrical toys around and into her body for the first part of the scene. Afterwards, the three of them get it on in a little more conventional style with Ariana keeping herself between Jill and Luc. Adriana’s toys come back out while Luc fucks Jill, as she slides a DP toy in and holds a pocket rocket on her clit. Finally, Luc cums in Adriana’s mouth. It’s a nicely different scene. The toys are really brought out through the scene, yet never completely take over the scene.

Deep Inside Ariana maintains the same level of quality as pretty much every other installment of this series, which is a great thing. The interview with Ariana gives you a very nice feel of her as a person, while the sex scenes do a great job of showing her as a performer. Better yet, the sex scenes show some of Ariana’s versatility as a performer, going from very romantic and sensual scenes to hard and nasty action. I’ll admit that I haven’t seen much of Ariana before this, but after watching Deep Inside Ariana, I’ll be looking for her in the future.

Extras: A short bio is included for Ariana including a few photos, a list of some of her VCA credits, and a link to one of her scenes. The photo gallery lasts about three and a third minutes with about seven seconds per decent looking full screen photo. There’s also internet and contact information and a few box covers.

Overall: Currently, most of VCA’s Deep Inside DVDs can be found online for between $18 and $25 with most stores offering them for around $20. This is pretty fair for what you get here. The compilation is done extremely well and has a nice transfer. My only real complaint about the DVD is the lack of extras, as everything here is extremely generic.
