True Hardwood Stories - Preview Expectations: Back in the middle part of the 90's, I was a fan of Shayla LeVeaux. The real problem is that the movie is not as funny nor as erotic as the original. The plot doesn't really work, and completely falls apart at the end. Oh, sure, the sex is better lighted, and is filmed much more clearly and explicitly than in the original, but good lighting does not equal eroticism. And as to the music, the less said the better.
