Behind-The-Scenes : (10 min) The cameraman won't leave Kira alone as she dresses and prepares for her scene, and Kira flirts with him like the nice girl she is. Short interviews with Katie Morgan, who sounds like a 7-year old, Mason Storm, who, when asked what's the biggest thing she ever took in her vagina, answers "A penis ?", the filming of Shawnie & Maliyah's lezzie scene, which actually doesn't appear in the film (!). By the way, this is what I call a major fuck-up. If you're gonna edit a complete scene out of a movie, do not frustrate the audience by showing it in the BTS segment. Or at least, include it in the bonus clips. And leave the girls name out of the boxcover credits. Memo to Vivid.

Short Story : An estranged couple working in the adult industry put their ambiguous relationship to the test by playing vicious voyeuristic games. Or I could be wrong. It's all very cryptic and pretentious and I defy anyone to understand the storyline.


SCENE BREAKDOWN :

1) MERCEDEZ, HALEY PAIGE, STEVEN ST CROIX, ANTHONY HARDWOOD (part. 1)

It starts out as a softcore photo shoot between the two brunette beauties & Eastern hunk Hardwood, which soon degenerates into more graphic terrain. Cover girl Mercedez is none too happy about it, but when sittings editor St Croix explains her rates could skyrocket for this, Mercedez suddenly finds the will to comply. It must be noted that each angle more or less has exclusive focus either on Mercedez or Haley. Merc's blow-job is quite timid, the raincoater may be better satisfied with angle 2 and Haley's hungry balls-deep technique. Then it's mish time for both (St Croix does Merc on the table while Hardwood plows Haley on the sofa). Mercedez, her usual silent, subdued self, looks focused & pleased by Steven's thrusts, but the scene cuts as it begins to catch heat.

2) KATIE MORGAN & TJ COX

Thin bubbly blonde Katie & TJ play out a porno scene on a set in front of Kira. TJ licks Katie's kitty for the shortest time before they indulge in hard-hitting missionary on a bed. Cox is an underused young male performer who's not too hard on the eyes & who always puts solid energy into his scenes. The cowgirl segment is just as intense, as he gently spanks and massages Katie's mini buns while thrusting upwards. What a tiny body on that girl ! She stays in doggy as he towers above her ass and comes nice, thick sperm smack on her miniature behind. A nice scene, just a couple of minutes too short.

3) MASON STORM, KATIE MORGAN, ANTHONY HARDWOOD & TJ COX

Statuesque brunette Mason, in a red dress, dances seductively on a bare theatre stage for leather-bound stud Anthony. She sits on a stool in the middle of the stage and lets him caress her long legs as Katie & TJ watch from a distance, indulging in oral relief. Mason & Anthony's foreplay is very brief as they both stand up for a scissor, Mason standing on one leg. Mason's big implants suit her frame, and she keeps her black velvet gloves on for the standing doggy (good low-angle shot). Meanwhile, Katie keeps on sucking TJ in the gradins. Mason & Tony switch to standard & reverse cowgirl on the floor. There's a nice energy that's constantly interrupted by Katie & TJ's lackluster tryst and Anthony finishes Mason in hard-hitting doggy before popping on her mouth.

4) ALESHA BIZART & CAMERON JAMES

Alesha is a thin braided brunette in goth attire (lots of spike & leather) whipping lipstick blonde Cameron in the halls of the same theatre while Randy is peeping from an adjoining room. Cameron, also in black latex and garter belt, spreads her legs standing on a bench for lanky Alesha to lick her from beneath. She plays with her lover's clit inside her zipped mini-shorts, then they move on to the theater stage for more elaborate games. Alesha puts on a strap-on and fucks Cameron doggy-style, sometimes spanking the blonde. Alesha looks like she knows what she's doing and loves to be in charge, which seems to please her girlfriend. The contrast between both girls is amazing and plays very well into this scene. They move to a mattress on the floor for more tender kissing and caressing (nice use of mirrors & spaces). Alesha grinds and gyrates on Cameron's fingers, then gets back in command and inserts a red jelly dildo into Cameron doggy-style, this time without a strap-on. Alesha's style is assertive but never domineering, and from the way Cameron tickles her own clit as she drills her, I'd say she definitely scores major points. Excellent chemistry for an expertly filmed scene. The best g/g I've seen in years.

5) MERCEDEZ, HALEY PAIGE, ANTHONY HARDWOOD & STEVEN ST CROIX (part. 2)

Back to where scene #1 had stopped. Or barely. Mercedez & Haley have switched partners, though I sort of wonder how Anthony can actually duplicate himself, as he can be seen licking Mercedez on a leather chair and simultaneously hitting Haley from behind in a parallel threesome. The magic of porn. But soon the editor comes back to his senses, and Mercedez's big latina booty bounces on Anthony in reverse cowgirl as Steven explores Haley doggy-style. Good shots of Mercedez' rear as she's taken in doggy too, then both girls receive their lovers ample offerings on their chest (Merc) and face (Haley).


THE LOWDOWN : What the fuck is this all about ? Nothing makes sense here, from the convoluted storyline to the editing, from Kira Kener in a non-sex role to cover girl Mercedez’s only scene being cut in 2, from the wrong boxcover credits to the half-assed end product. "Out of Control" is indeed a mess, and it’s not surprising director Paul Thomas chose to associate himself with it through his lower-end alias Cleo Edwards. It still remains to be seen what the "High-Definition" cover pitch is supposed to stand for, but the Vivid aficionado can rest assured that he will have better picture quality with un-hyped LaRue or Stanley productions. All flesh tones are dark and/or orange, and the dialogue (especially in exterior scenes) is sometimes barely audible. Fans of Mercedez may as well pass their way, as she’s only part of a passable foursome whose beginning and end are separated by an hour of pretentious character development and unequal sex. The only redeeming feature in this boring headscratcher is the blistering girl/girl between Alesha & Cameron, a 20 minutes tour-de-force by a director who’s indeed capable of the best as of the worst. Otherwise a mediocre effort.
