Will Ryder and the X-Play group return to put their usual care into the Rocky franchise. Anthony Rosano shines as Rocky with Andy San Dimas doing every bit as good of a job as Adrian. The cast is nicely rounded out with Mr. Marcus, Tyler Knight, Chastity Lynn, Lily LaBeau, Madison Ivy, and Jack Lawrence, as well as numerous non-sex performers. The boxing, romance, and sex aspects all work equally well, and there's great chemistry put into the technical aspects as well as the extras. It seemed like a good idea, and the boxcover (back) indicated uncut sexual scenes, which I apparently misread to mean that the DVD would contain things not shown in the cable run of this series. Not only are there no uncut scenes that I could divine, but what is shown is marred by blasted mosaics. Anybody who thinks that this is porn leads a very sheltered life. Not that there aren't some warm moments, mostly courtesy of ringleader Carmen Luvana. I'm not into fake boobs, but I have to admit finding her enjoyment of those big balloons to be most arousing. It is a long story too clocking in at over 3 1/2 hours. This story is dominated by two people who have the pivotal roles of Heidi and Kaiser. Both Whitney Wright and Some Dude fill their demanding roles well and that was key since they carry so much of the action and story in this release. You have a nice supporting turn in this from Romi Rain who gets two sex scenes here. There is a single scene featuring Aaliyah Love & Bridgette B very early in this show then the rest of the action is all Whitney Wright including some anal in one of her scenes with Some of which there were several. Based on some of the reviews, I had high expectations. But the Sex Island was a big disappointment for me. The girls are good looking, the picture is crisp and the settings stylish. However it just did not work for me. The narration by Tera Patrick was lame, the music cheesy and annoying (Micheal Bolton on a budget if that is possible), and they used of slow motion at some key points. This is the first Tera Patrick video I have watched and what I cannot understand is why the guy in each of her scenes ends up jerking himself off. What is it with these guys and with their directors? Swinging in the USA will appeal to porn fans who like more than two naked people on their TV at a time. It helps if you also like unattractive naked people. Aside from cute-as-ever Kelly Kline, the rest of the cast in this Luc Wylder production is strictly from the B List. That may seem a bit harsh when referring to Carmen Luvana and Holly Hollywood, who still are semi-appealing, but I just have seen too much of them to find them anything more than mildly attractive. The plot (as such) revolves around Gwenn, an unknown who won some Atlanta competition known as the Miss Swingers Date Club USA. She and her partner, Jay, come to L.A. to get it on with some real pros. What follows in some decent sex action interrupted by countless interviews. Theres lots of talking in this one. With crew members and voyeurs scattered throughout the set as the action takes place, there is little heat in the sex. Youll also probably view more of L.A.s skyline than youd care to see. Unfolding is another collaboration between Kay Brandt and Selena Kitt and, as with Kay Brandt's past collaborations with Selena Kitt, is well worth watching. Unfolding is a romance story of a husband and wife finding their inner sexual beings through a sexual journey with each other. This is a new g/g show written and directed by Kay Brandt for Adam & Eve Pictures. There are five scenes in this one with more than one of the girls appearing in a scene. Standouts included Honey Gold and Riley Nixon who each appear twice once together in a sizzling hot scene that was the best of the title. This scene offered up a great lead in courtesy of Riley and Honey that was not repeated for any other scene in this show. You get plenty of action as the scenes vary in style, location and what the girls wore. There is one scene with a bondage theme that was darker than the others so the action might be harder to follow than in the others. Overall a solid g/g show that is well worth checking out.
