Review brief: Just like American films, Euro porn from Over There Studios is of variable quality. Some can be quite good; others can be just mediocre; while still others can be disappointing to say the least. I regret that this film, FORESKIN CADETS, belongs in the latter category. It opens promisingly enough with two young beauties in bed. The handsome blond gets up and begins to dress. Going to kiss his companion goodbye, the companion, a very skinny brunet, restrains him. As they kiss, the cadet is slowly undressed. The have a pleasant bout of reciprocal oral sex, and Blondie boffs Skinny. The cadet who was to pick Blondie up waits impatiently outside. Once Blondie has finished his morning tryst, the two start off, but stop when they see two guys hanging around a van. The guys are handcuffed put in the car and driven off. The audio is pretty good, but frequently has some minor balance problems. The video is also pretty good, and doesnt have much of the shakiness that can commonly hold back the gonzo genre. The lighting is also pretty good, but there are a few remnants that flash around now and then. Music: Theres a little music between the scenes but nothing during the actual sex.

With its resolutely low budget approach, La Soiree De Connes looks as crude as its title suggests, and at times makes those pirate VHS tapes of late eighties and early nineties Magma movies that I always ended up with look positively sophisticated. The plot is simple - three friends pick up women, and then everyone gets together for the party. First, Kevin Long meets modestly attractive brunette Illona outside a peepshow/sex shop establishment. She seems utterly disinterested, both in his patter and in her own performance, as they chat back at his pad. The unbelievably unoriginal device of spilling a drink over her is used, not once but twice, to get her to strip to lingerie and stockings.

The dialogue is pretty clear, but theres a fair amount of background noise thats pretty consistent throughout the feature. The video has a bit of grain, frequent soft focus problems, and some recurring artifacts. Music: None. Menus: The main menu is very different, and shows the video cover spinning around over some green good while the choices for the DVD sit alongside it. Its not an impressive main menu.

Review brief: My husband and I bought this because of the great reviews. It was not good at all. We do not recommend this movie to couples. I am a very attractive woman with a very attractive husband and we did not find this movie stimulating in the least. What this movie contained: nothing but a lot of blow jobs and painful looking, long, drawn out, pounding intercourse. The men looked like losers and the women even bigger losers to be screwing them. I found it disrespectful in that the women could not have been having fun. Gonzo is supposed to be real? These women were faking like I've never seen. Also, the camera angles didn't even get the whole bodies. All we saw were a lot of "nuts and butts." Lots of shots of backsides from underneath or something like that. Not sexy at all. At one point my husband said, "oh no, more of this" and we kept trying forwarding it to find something different. We had no luck.

Review brief: I never thought I'd write a "porn review" but I feel compelled to warn people away from paying full price for this lukewarm effort. I think the idea of a gay anime / animated film is fun. Unfortunately, although the cartoon men in this film are attractively rendered, the animation is crude and the voices annoying. Considering animation's possibilities, the sex scenes really lack imagination. Worst of all, each scene is bookended with extremely dull narration from a Harvey Fierstein imitator. Can we say "padding?" And if that doesn't tempt you to put your boot through your video monitor, wait until the little gay cherub starts getting on your nerves.

When I was sent the Flash DVD to review, my immediate thought was excellent - a great cast. But while the movie was attractively filmed, it is not boner inducing; it doesnt send the pulse racing. I stand apart from all the other reviewers on this web site when I say I was bored with it. But not only is this not a football movie, it doesnt really have anything to do with Dallas, either! Sure, if you want to get technical, Danny has sex with a guy named Dallas, but thats pretty weak. I mean really, is it too much to expect a movie that has a guy in a football uniform on the cover to have something to do with football? The first scene is a total lost cause. They guys are skanky, and the sex is icky. The two scenes with Danny (Jim Bently) arent bad, though. Hes decent looking, has an ok body, and a big dick.

Review brief: Another entry into this C grade series directed by Paul Morgan. It is divided into the standard 4 segments which are loosely tied together by the theme of cooking outdoors. First up in a scene called "Anal BBQ" we find the ubiquitous Paul Morgan (God, but I'm tired of seeing this asshole in films!) along with newcomer Greg Clarke. Both are wearing aprons and silly chef's hats. Paul is preparing to cook "Trout in garlic ass butter" and explaining everything to us and Greg in his typically garrulous, foul-mouthed manner that he must think is hip or amusing. (It aint!) Some of the music is dissonant electronica that sounds like it was rescued from a 90's porn vault. The remainder isn't so bad, although it's often in a dismal minor chord and tends to change rather haphazardly midscene. Oddly, there's also a beautiful classical piecethe ironically named "Air on a G String" from Bach's Orchestral Suite 3.

Review brief: Morning Star is definitely a bad movie, there is no doubt about it, but at least they tried to make a decent film. Couples stand the greatest chance of getting some enjoyment out of this film whereas viewers who like nasty sex or hate a plot stand the least chance of finding enjoyment here. If you are still interested in this film, I recommend renting before purchasing.
